...crap I need to put away some gunpla so I can put up my SO-DOs, thanks for the reminder.
And thank you for the encouragement. You're always really positive and that's real nice.
Structure is super important! I can usually only do a day or two of unstructured existence before I need to feel like there's an agenda. Making little projects helps, I find. Even if it's for dumb things (organize cards, change around a figure display), it can add a sense of productivity to a day.
Best of luck on finding something academically to get excited about. There's something out there, for sure.
I'm alright, marking the off hours, by trying to work on myself as a person. Tried that college course, but it didn't work super well, so I'm going to try some more "fun" classes that I might find a passion in and take those along side my core required classes when the fall rolls around.
The lack of structure has kind of been messing me up tbh. Been having lots more tired days then I'd like. I'm looking forward to the fall for school to start back up, but not really looking forward to going back to not getting as much money.
Oof. Not really? Social distancing makes a lot of summer social options feel ill-advised. Going out to things, meeting up with friends... sort-of not on my radar so much right now?
Like, really ready to start watching Blade. Not doing any Kamen Rider stuff this past week... it's nice at first, to slow it all down, but then it's like Well Now What, especially since I'm just at home when I'm not at work. I've got some after-hours work stuff on Saturday, then watching New Japan Pro-Wrestling's event Sunday night. That's about it that's out of routine.
Hmm. Not "worried", per se. More like "anticipating".
Business in June was about 90% of June 2019, which was a relief, but June 2019 was catastrophically bad, so. With nationwide numbers moving in the direction they are, we've definitely been planning on needing to move our operations back to curbside/delivery/shipping. We're prepared, which is about all we can do right now. The retail landscape is not very stable, but we're taking it as it comes.
I'm spending money on SO-DO like money ain't going to be in short supply, at least!
