OG Dragonzords tend to go for about $100 on eBay, with the Legacy one actually costing a little more (Usually about $20-50 more). Dino Megazords (Both original and Legacy) tend to be a little cheaper, floating around online for about $50-100, depending on where you find it (Since you can get pretty nice deals on it). You could probably help her grab a Dino Megazord without too large of a hit to your wallet with some smart shopping and patience. Dragonzord, I dunno...

I own the Legacy series Dino Megazord, Dragonzord and White Tigerzord. And the black Legacy Dino Megazord. And yes, I love the build quality on them.
Unfortunately, her desire for a Dino Megazord of her own came at a bad time. Her brother owns the Imaginext version, though, so they do play with that together. Just need to keep my eyes peeled. Might hit up the Flea Market this weekend. I've found the old remote control Dino Megazord for $15-20 before. |

Well, it took me 2 months but I finally finished Power Rangers Turbo and man was this series pretty awful. The best episode in the season is hands down the finale, but that doesn't take away from the crap that happened throughout. Bulk and Skull were one of the worst aspects of it because the writers have clearly run out of ideas with them. They are just dead weight at this point and taking up screen time that could go to something more important. On the other hand, I do love the bit when TJ goes to help them out knowing they are not criminals. Divatox and her crew were really annoying and the whole Dimitria has a sister plot went nowhere. In fact, Dimitria was absolutely useless and pointless as she did nothing. If memory serves me correctly, we never even see her again, which makes it even worse. A waste of time and of a plot that could have made the series interesting. I also forgot they turned the big baddie from Carranger into just another average Monster of the Week. UGH!! Overall, thank the gods I am done with it because I am never going to sit through this car wreck again.

I love Turbo, it's one of the best series Saban has produced that's not Time Force or In Space.
Really, the qualms I can agree with are Divatox's band being annoying as all hell and Dimetria being the worst mentor since Zordon.

Matrixbeast we mostly have different opinions, but at least we both like Time Force lol.
I also couldn't stand Turbo when I first saw it, I just couldn't get into it and it felt like a mess in general. Coming off of Zeo (I watched Zeo first before Turbo) which I absolutely loved, it felt like a drop off. But to be fair Turbo2 was better and made it enjoyable, with an great cast that spilled into IS and ended the franchise. Also love TJ and Cassie. But yeah, it's at the bottom for me alongside Mystic Force and Samurai, arguably my least favorite season. At least those good designs were put to good use with Carranger, ironically my favorite Sentai. I finished DT but I'm not going to say anything about it. Started SPD again and it's still pretty good like it once was for me. |

To me, I always felt Turbo was a season that gets struck down for reasons that are noticeably ignored in others, such as Zeo.
Turbo isn't perfect, but I find it quite enjoyable. Rangers who had to solve their problems, fun action scenes to watch, and just an enjoyable cast all around. I really had fun with it. The story was kind of eclectic and all over the place, but much like MMPR and Zeo, that's really nothing new.

Finished ep 57 of MMPR S1. Ready for a change. Glad The Mutiny is only a few episodes away.
How readily available are the Christmas Episodes from MMPR and where do they fall in chronology? They don't appear to be on Netflix. |

I finished my rewatch of SPD.
I was blessed to have this as part of my childhood. Easily one of the best Power Rangers seasons ever made, great action, awesome characters who felt more flawed and we saw their relationship build as the series advanced, and pretty cool villains, I liked the rivalry between Broodwing and Grumn. And the memories it brought back were endless. Easily one of my favorite PR seasons I've ever seen.

I watched the first disc of In Space today, which was the first 9 episoes. The show is not as good as I remember. I still enjoyed them, but the effects do not hold up very well and I never realized how bad Astronema's acting was.
There is one thing that I just don't understand though. Bulk and Skull are working with this Professor dude who has been ridiculed for talking about aliens even though THEY LIVE IN A UNIVERSE WHERE PEOPLE IN RAINBOW COLORED SPANDEX FIGHT ALIENS ON A DAILY BASIS!!! Even Bulk and Skull, who have been taking prisoner on many occassions seem to think the alien talk is crazy. o_O Another I noticed is they can't seem to figure out how to use Ecliptor in the beginning. One minute they have him in his second form then the next they are using footage with him in his first form. Did they not notice that his shoulders were different? Why would they have him walking with the spiky right shoulder only to cut to the footage when he had the normal shoulder? Oh, and the Ninja Turtles episode was god awful. One of the worst Power Ranger episodes ever. Those aside, there have been some good moments. I like the bit about Andros' sister being kidnapped and it was fun seeing two episodes in a row that were pretty much the exact plot of the Megaranger version. |
