From Keita Amemiya, of Garo fame, Mikazuki is a six episode giant robot series. It has some really great and crazy designs. Just what one would expect from Keita Amemiya. All the eps are on veoh. Here's the first ep. http://www.veoh.com/watch/v6962837Ka4hFADc Unfortunately because each ep is over 45 minutes you do need their stupid veoh player thing. No subs unfortunately. I know bootleg subs exist but they heavily edited the eps for those for some reason. I probably need to rewatch this, because even after having watched it twice, the story didn't leave much of an impression on me. Despite being so short a series, after the first two episodes I kind of got lost. Proper subs would definitly help with this. The final episode was badass though.

I remember they had a promo about this long time ago on Japanese Newtype. Never got a chance to see it, but I know some folks who say it is one of the pre-GARO Amemiya shows worth checking out even if you dont finish it.

I actually found this really easy to find and as far as giant tokusatsu goes this is easily the best. A lot of what is now remembered in GARO started here and it is really great for fans like me to see how far his ideas develop.

I used to buy Japanese Newtype issues during middle school when I had the chance and remember seeing an article of it.
