This year, Power Rangers celebrates its 20th Anniversary, a milestone that not many properties or franchises accomplish. We here at TokuNation have decided to celebrate this milestone by spending 20 weeks celebrating your Top 20 Power Rangers!
Starting on Monday, June 3rd, we will spend a whole week posting news, information, galleries, etc., of each Power Ranger that you've chosen to be the Top 20 Power Rangers of All Time, starting with #20 and working our way up to #1. This is on top of our monthly series-appreciation, highlighted by our changing banner in the top right of your screen, as well as numerous galleries from that series.
All we ask is that each of you post your top 10 Power Rangers (#1 being your highest, #10 being your lowest). We have created a mathematical system that rivals most scientific equations (not really) that will determine the Top 20 (because it's unlikely that you will all pick the same 10 Power Rangers).
The staff here at TokuNation have already taken part, and for your viewing pleasure, here is a Top 10 list that the staff came up with (using the same mathematical equation). They are listed in no certain order, but they are the Top 10 the staff came up with:
Eric (Power Rangers Time Force)
Zack (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
Tommy (Mighty Morpin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo, Dino Thunder)
Ziggy (Power Rangers RPM)
Billy (Mighty Morpin Power Rangers)
Katherine (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo)
Adam (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo)
Jason (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo)
Wes (Power Rangers Time Force)
Kimberly (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
For what it's worth, the staff in total had 30 nominations, and those are still being counted with YOUR nominations, so just because you don't see one of your favorites on this list doesn't mean they aren't #11, or #12, etc. Remember, in the end we will have The Top 20 Power Rangers that you choose!
Simply post in this news thread your Top 10 (again, #1 being your first choice, #10 being your last) and wait and see on Monday, June 3rd who the Top 20 Power Rangers of All Time end up being, starting with #20.
Any questions can be posted as well! Have fun with this! Go Go Power Rangers!
For the month of May Tokunation.com is celebrating all things Power Rangers SPD. And what's an SPD celebration without some toys from it's source material, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger! So today we bring you a gallery of the DX Dekaranger Robo! That's the Delta Squad Megazord for Power Rangers fans.
Composed of the 5 Dekamachines (Patstriker, Patgyrer, Patrailer, Patarmor, & Patsigner) the Dekarobo is unique in that it has 2 primary weapons. The Judgement Sword and Signal Cannon! It also has a giant pair of Deka Cuffs and Patsigners' SP license to use for arresting and judging Alienizers respectively.
One other unique feature to this set is the inclusion of a decal sheet (as well as various cardboard cut outs to be used with Patsigner). Dekaranger was the final sentai toyline to feature label sheets for it's DX robos. Starting with Magiranger any labels would be either factory applied or simply be replaced by paint applications.
A few more details about possible cameos have surfaced since our last update and we've put them altogether in this update here! No new confirmations for appearances as of yet, but some fun and interesting details none the less!
Daniel Southworth, better known as Eric the Quantum Ranger in Power Rangers Time Force had a tweet that no one caught on to because it was so long ago - back in March to be exact. A fan asked him if Saban had wisked him away to a magical Ranger land ... to which Dan replied Nope, but they inquired. There have been no reports, rumors, or anything to cause speculation on whether or not Daniel Southworth would be returning.
Cerina Vincent, better known as Maya the Yellow Ranger in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy came out and stated she was invited to be a part of Super Megaforce. Her tweet is as follows: yes! I did get an invite to #supermegaforce ! Still working out the details but I hope to be a part of it! We know that Blake Foster was in a similar situation, and its speculated that Naika Burise was as well, with both now no longer attending. Hopefully details go through and Cerina Vincent can rejoin Danny Slavin from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy!
Finally, Mike Chat, better known as Chad the Blue Ranger from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue tweeted that production actually called him on the phone about Power Rangers Super Megaforce, as well as saying "working on it, we'll see!" when asked if he was going to be a part of the reunion.
After these polarized opinions have each been expressed on her Facebook page, Karan Ashley felt it was time to address the whole situation on our Uncensored Radio Show with her co-host Jeffrey.
There you have it, straight from the mouth of Karan Ashley. I'm sure all of you have some thoughts, comments, and concerns of things brought up in the clip - I know I did as a fan. Go ahead and post your thoughts and comments in this thread.
With production seemingly only wanting 10 previous cast members to return and now others such as Blake Foster getting the axe on reappearing we assume that the Super Megaforce casting news should be dwindling down to a minimum. Thank you all for sticking through as we hashed out who was returning and who wasn't.
Everyone is well aware of the tweeted photos of Ciara Hanna (Yellow Ranger in Power Rangers Megaforce) and Jason Smith (Red Ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury). But now thanks to Fury Diamond and his blog at RangerCrew, we can shed more light on what exactly Jason Smith is doing in Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
Jason Smith, or Casey the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury, is going to have his own tribute episode in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. But more than that, Jason Smith is also now WRITING episodes in Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
That's an interesting development - return for a tribute and stay on board to write some episodes. Jason Smith is a Power Rangers and Super Sentai fan, having watched GoBusters and the current Kyoryuger series in Japan.
What do you guys think? Is having a Power Rangers Alumni write episodes for Power Rangers a good thing? Discuss away!

...Matt Frank, artist on IDW's Godzilla comics, has created a print for the convention! This isn't just any print, it's a mashup of 2 popular Tokusatsu figures, Godzilla VS Megazord! Alpha 5 is a spectator meanwhile the Dragonzord is chilling in the background. Image comes our way via Geek Speak, click on the thumbnail for a larger look!
If you're ready for some lighthearted fun in the form of a mockbuster movie, then get ready for Atlantic Rim! This movie features extremely simple dialogue with robots that look like they're right out of Real Steel fighting giant lizard monsters in cities. This movie features a bunch of people we haven't heard of along with Treach from Naughty By Nature fighting "very large" monsters and stuff from the sea.
New images from the set of the 2014 Godzilla movie have been posted by Richmond Review. Godzilla is being filmed in Steveston. More info:

On Monday, the fishing village appeared to be transforming into a coastal California community for eight planned days of filming for the blockbuster reboot of the Japanese monster film franchise Godzilla.
It reportedly has a budget north of $100 million and will star Bryan Cranston, of Malcolm in the Middle and Breaking Bad fame, along with Academy Award nominee Ken Watanabe, of The Last Samurai.
Godzilla is filming all over Metro Vancouver, and is the biggest feature movie ever filmed in Richmond.
One of the greatest things about being a tokusatsu fan are the high amount of collectables you can purchase! One of the harder things to do is go back in time and get that one figure you wanted from an older series.
We have dozens upon dozens of active threads of people selling things in our For Sale forum! SH Figuarts, various Megazords from both Power Rangers and Super Sentai, and so much more!
If you can't find what you're looking for but want to get it out there what you're wanting, we have you covered with our Wanted forum! Browse it and check out if anyone wants an item that you're willing to part with!
And most importantly, we have TokuNation's own Member Feedback thread, where you can check out if the seller you're purchasing from, or the buyer that wants your stuff, is reliable. As a side note, TokuNation makes it a priority to take care of scammers - we ban anyone who is registered on our site that has been banned for scamming members at any of the 2005 Network sites!
Check it out and see if you can find the deal you've been waiting for!
PLEASE NOTE: TokuNation.com is not responsible for sales/trades/deals gone bad and cannot and will not reimburse any users for any deals that go wrong. We are simply providing a forum for members to interact and make deals privately between each other. You buy/sell/trade at your own risk!!!
Tokusou Gattai! Here's a 24 image gallery of the Dekarobo from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger! This kit has a lot of special features, and is a personal favorite of mine. What it lacks in articulation it makes up for in gimmicks!
We have some more updates on the upcoming Power Rangers Super Megaforce season, specifically more updates on possible cameos from various actors.
To begin, Walter E Jones who played Zack the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers tweeted the following message from his twitter account:
“I just want to say sorry to all the Power Ranger Fans! I will not be in Super Mega Force. It would have been great though!”
Richard Brancatisano, or Xander the Green Ranger from Power Rangers Mystic Force, let Fury Diamond of RangerCrew.com that he was not invited to be a part of Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
Rhoda Montemayor, or Rose the Pink Ranger from Power Rangers Operation Overdrive was not invited, and had the following to say:
“I’m a bit gutted that I didn’t get the invite, but if I had been invited, I definitely would have begged my producer to rejig the shooting schedule so I could to do it…and to the lucky rangers who are doing it – may the force be with you.”
Erika Fong, or Mia the Pink Ranger from Power Rangers Samurai is not able to go to the cameo shooting, as she is busy with another project. This one shocks us because the rest of her cast apparently are returning.
Steven Skyler, or Antonio the Gold Ranger from Power Rangers Samurai was invited and has not come to a decision at this time.
As always, a big thanks to our friends at RangerCrew.com for being able to get answers out of a lot of the actors.
Following the debut of Cho AkibaRed his transformation device the Munya Munya Zuban has finally been revealed on Tamashi’sAkibaranger page, though release detail for this figure still remain unknown at the time of this posting.
Rangercrew Member Fury Diamond once again breaks some news for Super Megaforce.
Not counting the Samurai Rangers, it seems that only 10 past actors have signed contracts to reappear on Super Megaforce.
Earlier, Jason Faunt has confirmed that he will be reprising his roll as Wesely Collins, in addition to David Slavin and Jason David Frank whom both confirmed that they will be making cameos.
One of my sources has confirmed that 10 past cast members have signed contracts and already completed their fitting. Some of these cast members are not active with the fandom and Power Rangers conventions. Jason Faunt confirmed earlier today and Danny Slavin may be one of the other cast members. The Samurai Cast members are not included in the 10 members.
Several cast members got the invite but didn't get the uninvite letter. They are waiting for production to make a decision. These cast members are very excited to return.
My guess is that the production team only allocated for 10 past cast members.
Update:
Fury Diamond has now confirmed the 10 actors that will be appearing in Super Megaforce, from Diamond's exact Post here is the list of confirmed Actors that are gonna appear in Super Megaforce:
Quote:
I got off the phone with my source with a fun list of confirmed cameos. I am waiting confirmation for the final one. They said that only 10 members were confirmed. I don't know whether they are planning for additional cameos since several cast members are still waiting for confirmation / uninvites.
Jason David Frank
Danny Slavin
Melody Perkins
Reggie Rolle
Selwyn Ward
Sean Johnson
Hector David Jr
Brittany Pirtle
Jason Faunt
Jason Faunt, better known as Wesley Collins, the Time Force Red Ranger has confirmed via his Facebook fanpage that he’ll be heading to New Zealand for filming.
The exact post that appeared is as follows:
Quote:
It's official, I will be heading to New Zealand to film power rangers for the reunion, will be playing the role of Wes!
According to our friends at RangerCrew.com, we have updates on three of the actors who were in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
Danny Slavin who played Leo the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy accepted the cameo invite to appear in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Whether he is still attending or if he received an uninvite E-mail is unknown at the time of this news update.
Valerie Vernon who played Kendrix the Pink Ranger in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy had to turn down the cameo invite, as she's a mother and did not receive enough time in advance to plan accordingly. She states:
One month wasn’t enough time..especially when you have kids. If I was given two to three months to plan for it I could have gone. I’m so bummed! I was looking forward to seeing some of my old friends! Maybe they’ll do another one soon! I’d love to be in the next one!”
Finally, Reggie Rolle who played Damon the Green Ranger in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy also received the invite and was still considering whether or not to attend as he was given very little advance warning before filming was to begin.
