Anyway, from Dekaranger, to SPD, to Kyoryuger, to Time Force, there's always at least one Ranger I just don't find interesting, sometimes rangers I outright don't like. But Geki has managed to win me over for everyone. It's nice!

Retsu is pretty solid. I really enjoy episodes focusing on him. Unlike most Sentai and PR series, Gekiranger is one of the few occasions where I honestly love the entire team. No one is boring or annoying (I never found Jan to be annoying like you ), so while Gou may be my personal favorite of the 5, that doesn't mean there aren't special places in my heart for Jan, Ran, Retsu, and even Ken!

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! I find that, on too many occasions, Jan's hyperactivity scares too many a viewers away in the first 3 episodes before the show can really get going. It's a shame and knowing you're loving it makes me feel great!

As for favorite ranger, normally, without skipping a beat, I'd reply with Rio, but since I'm limited to the main 5...Hmm...I think Gou/GekiViolet would have to be my personal favorite. His story arc is just so great, and while I love the core 3 (Jan being my favorite of those 3), Gou's relation to Retsu and his backstory with Rio are just so great!

Because of how his hand is designed, you can get away with it without it looking odd at all

And Shockwave probably is my favorite figure from the BH Voyager line. He has his flaws (Much like every Prime figure and every TF ever), but I still like him. I think the biggest possible deal breaker is his cannon, which has a spin gimmick and no lock, so keeping it straight can be annoying. But that aside, he has decent articulation (It could be a lot better, but I'm fine with it) and he looks awesome.

Another BH Voyager I'll vouch for is Predaking, because, after learning about the trick to get his sword to stay in his hand, he's pretty cool, too!

A store that's not Hot Topic is finally selling those? Sweet!

Since Gaoranger? Probably Magiking and Daibouken. Easily 2 of the greatest modern sentai robos.
