Maybe people get bored if a particular style is too personalized to one head-writer. For me, one of the annoying things about the New Series is that Doctor Who ends up looking like the head-writers' pet project rather than a more neutral, collaborative effort. Moffat's style was really cool in the beginning, but it's becoming less interesting the longer you watch it. I kind of felt this when the Angels were no longer scary in Series 7, compared to their two previous appearances.

Anyhow, just my opinion, I may be talking nonsense for all I know.

Don't be. Gold's hand broke off while posing him. I just won Blue today for ridiculously cheap and am really excited to get it.

It's the 12" Special Edition one. Don't worry, Tokunation will be seeing more of it and the Special Edition Blue Stinger Beetleborg very soon.

It is very strange, I am half-tempted to e-mail the distributor to find out why. Apparently the Australian release came out in 2006, but for some reason has disappeared from the shelves today. The Davros set is far too expensive for now, so I'll just have to keep looking for options.

Again, I really hope they'll have a Special Edition re-release soon like in Ark of Space and The Aztecs sets that were released recently. Do you know how BBC (or whoever makes the DVDs) selects stories for Special Edition re-releases?

Oh, that's strange. Well I haven't been able to find the story anywhere here, I've checked as many stores as I could, both brick-and-mortar and online. Genesis of the Daleks is conspicuously absent for some reason. I guess my only hope for a local release is a possible future Special Edition set. Either that, or I can import it from the UK, but I'm worried about DVD drive incompatibilities.

Hey Zeo, I want to ask you something. Do you use iTunes? If you do, does your iTunes store have Genesis of the Daleks?

I have a sneaky suspicion that the story is banned in Australia...
