I have bought some gundam marker and used them to paint mostly sodo for now.
I only do some minor fix where sticker aren't there or to give more detail or being more accurate to the suit show. The gold and silver marker works really good (whatever the color plastic is) For other color, it depend on the color you apply and the color of the plastic. I wonder is there is anyway to prepare the plastic to use a gundam marker more effectively. I read about using paint primer, but it seems it always require to air brush and to cover all the figure to paint everything after that. I wonder if there is another way to do that where you could just put primer on the part you want to work on. Thanks for your help |
Gundam Markers don't really need primer. I would only use it if I were trying to paint a light color onto dark plastic.
If you're needing the paint to stick to the plastic better, I recommend using fine sandpaper to sand off the plastic finish (like 800 - 1000 grit). Some people also hand-paint primer. That is an option. Edit: Also if you use primer, you cannot paint with a Gundam marker directly, you must pump it out and use a brush. |
I tried to find a way to combine my hobbies and created this silly Kamen Rider keyboard.

Kuuga is just #1 for first rider Double is #2 because D was taken by Den-O, so 2 for Double or the 2nd Heisei era. Kabuto beat Kiva to K so he goes to #9 as the 9th rider. Ghost is completely random and that side of the board was looking empty so there he went. Drive and Build were mostly random too, just balancing out the board. |

Build should go on the plus key. And, I know it would mean making a new sticker, but Drive should go on the Shift key I MEAN COME ON I do love this concept, though. Amazing work, as always! |
