I've just created a thread with my custom figures, feel free to ask any question you want ! And here's my loot of the day : https://i.postimg.cc/d18bVdbd/328644...58510878-n.jpg |
This month's' haul comes early.
https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...YA&oe=63EE22AA Inferno Girl Red: Book 1: Wonderful book. Would very much recommend it if you want a Toku in comic form that isn't Power Rangers. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n..._g&oe=63EEB00C Lightning Collection Putrids and Adam: The Putrids were grabbed to add to the mook army. They're alright. On par with the Putty figures really. Meanwhile Adam was pre-ordered as a glorified accessory pack for Zack, though it might've been a wasted purchase now that the Remastered line is a thing. Oh well, maybe I'll give him to a friend. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...bQ&oe=63EE6D38 Kamen Rider Black on Blu-Ray: Although I'm one of the few who didn't absolutely adore Black, I will however support every official Rider release that I can. Plan to pre-order the Black RX blu-ray when I can. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...Nw&oe=63EE3FAD Seihou OOO Tajador Eternity: My favorite suit from what might be my favorite entry in the OOO line of Rider shows. It's a beautiful piece and I can't wait to get the bendy feathers from SHF Upgrade, which'll make this figure perfect for me. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...9w&oe=63EEC08E CSM Display OOO Driver: Much as I love playing with the regular CSM, I really am cautious about the horror stories of CSMs on display just glitching out or flat out no working over time, so I think it's best for me to keep the one with the electronics in storage and to put this on display somewhere. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...kg&oe=63EE1041 MAFEX Peter B. Parker: Missed out on the first run of this guy so I had to get in on the reissue. He's a great piece. I just wish the bang on the unmasked head were an actual piece and not painted on his forehead. Well regardless, I plan to use this figure for my Peter B and the Sentinel figure as Peter A. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...kQ&oe=63ED41EB Kamen Rider Ryuki on blu-ray: One of my all time favorite Rider shows, now with an official home release. SHOUT did just as good of a job subbing this show as they Zero-One, if not better. While I don't plan on rewatching all of Ryuki anytime soon, whenever I do, I know this'll be a great way to do it. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...pA&oe=63ED7A69 McFarlane Toys MK11 Shadow of Spawn: I find it rather ironic that the best Spawn figures have all come from the MK11 line rather than the Spawn line, and this figure is no exception. It's really well done! While I think the first Spawn in the line is still a tad better overall, this is still a great piece; especially that head sculpt! Could've gone without the plastic chains though. Would've rather had alternate hands or weapons. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...dQ&oe=63EEAF99 Figma Doom Slayer: This figure legitimately surprised me in alot of ways. Not just in terms of how well it was pulled off, but also in terms of the scale and the sheer amount of paint apps. He actually scales rather well with alot of other 6-inch figure lines despite figma usually running a little smaller. But yeah, he's a great piece overall and I highly recommend it for any DOOM fan. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...8Q&oe=63EEB9F3 Voyager Class Armada Starscream: I am by no means a Transformers buff, but Armada was my jam growing up, and Starscream was my favorite Decepticon, so I had to pick this guy up. And he's... okay. Granted, I dunno if I could ask for too much more at the price point, but there are aspects that I feel could've been done alot better; Namely the accessories which are rather off in terms of scale and paint, and the lack of wrist swivel/articulation. He's fine for what he is, but I definitely would not mind if a 3rd party company did an upgrade kit for him. |
Transformers often feel a bit disappointing to me coming off of Toku, superhero etc figures because they obviously don't have the sheer range of articulation and hence expression that they do. It's a shame, but I think Starscream there turned out as well as he could have all things considered (though there's a weird lack of mini-con ports on him and Hot Shot...)

You know they shockingly didn't acknowledge that at all during his reveal? We only found out closer to release with I think Takara stock photos that he could, indeed, do the flip-forward shoulder cannon thing. And it's so good too!

Had to cancel a bunch of preorders a few months ago due to some financial crap, and Doomguy is the only one I really wish I could have kept. I'm a big boomer shooter fan, the original Doom and Doom 16 are some of my all time favorite games. Would have loved to have such a good figure of one of gaming's greatest Heros

DVD
Masterpiece All Creatures Great And Small Series III Miss Scarlet & The Duke Series III 5 Man - Deka also filled in on DVD. Holding out for Turbo and Magi Ranger when Shout Factory brings them to the USA. My plan as it stands is to wait while Shout Factory brings more Ranger sets to the US. All Creatures Great And Small renewed for Series IV. Miss Scarlet & The Duke renewed for Series IV. |

Unfortunately, collecting is way too addictive for most people to keep it this tight :lol (and in this case, I'm people. But I'm proud of how well I've managed to not just go completely all-out with what I do collect) |
