this has always been a gray area -while its against the rules the problem is they wouldn't make any money either way. the only time it is a problem is if people are asking for money form you to watch it then their out right stealing. even if they did sub it they didn't create it. the problem is that getting it in other countries has its own problems and you have to have someone bring it over ect. power rangers gives them the super sentai series an in but the others don't have that because of all the failed adaptations of kamen rider since they keep dumbing it down. I seriously think they should just do it as a sub or dub rather than what we have seen because im tired of it always being aliens. people can be bad so why don't we see that?

Yeah i watched a lot of Ultraman on Crunchyroll because it was official. I really enjoyed that you could watch Geed like that too.

The act of streaming isn't illegal. It's the streaming of copyrighted materials that's the illegal part. And in that case the uploader is more the illegal party there than the viewer.
And sites like Kissasian are awful, because not only are they hosting copyrighted materials but they're also profiting off fansubbers work, all of whom make the episodes for free. I can understand people not wanting to do torrents, but most fansubbers make their work available via DDL (via their own sites or KRDL) so that's a more more "ethical" route to go down if you can. |

My sources have switched over time. For subs I used to watch them on KissAsian (watching it on a PS4 as a means to try and protect my own computer from viruses) but I eventually decided that since the site is filled with ads that not even an adblocker can get rid of and the whole thing has a high adware risk.
After learning that people often upload these shows to Facebook I began to watch them on Facebook instead. Only problem is that since switching to this method I've sometimes ended up missing subbed episodes, for example I never saw Episode 4 of Lupinranger vs. Patoranger subbed and only got round to seeing the previous weeks' effort quite recently. I try to be moral as much as possible but it's difficult in these situations. Would love it if something like Crunchyroll put Kamen Rider series on there, especially Gaim and Build. It would help broaden the demographic of people who are able to watch it all and give the better shows a chance to shine and show exactly why we all like this genre. |
