I watched both seasons of Dog Days over the last week.
The first season was dull, and the second was dull with added awkward fanservice. Not a series I'd recommend. |
Initial D Fifth Stage!!$@$!
|
just watched the first episode of Tiger & Bunny and holy crap it was fun!!!
I've been kinda lost on what to watch Toku wise. Nothing has been jumping out at me lately. But this is something fresh for me. I am gonna watch some more tomorrow. I am assuming that it only has subs and no dubs? |

Picked up the X-Men anime. I'm about a third of the way through and so far nothing to special, but enjoyable. It at least got the X-Men feel down in episode one, unlike Evolution that never got it. Having three of the WatX-Men actors reprise their roles in the dub helps. |
well im watching tiger and bunny. in the first episode they said ice chick is someone all the men know, implying she's a very sexy woman, but then she's underage........... is the tv station saying it's to think of an underage girl?

I've been watching a lot of anime lately:
I'm up to episode 8 of Baccano, so the halfway point. Really awesome show that I can't wait to finish when I get the DVD in hand. Up to episode 12 of Digimon Tamers. It's as awesome as it was when I watched it as a kid. Up to episode 4 of Durarara. Pretty cool show, though I'm not enjoying it as much as Baccano. Up to episode 6 of Wolf's Rain. Really awesome show. Yesterday I also watched Summer Wars for the first time. Really, really awesome movie. Probably the best Studio Ghibli film that WASN'T made by them. If you haven't seen it yet, go out and watch it. Though, I'd recommend watching the blu-ray, because it looks AMAZING in HD. |

Still One Piece. In fact, I'll probably be watching One Piece for many years to come.

Starting Tiger and Bunny, while still going through brave Exkaiser.

I'm watching 'Beywheelz' & taking the absolute piss out of it. You know you're sending kids the wrong message when one of your 'heroes' willingly jumps off a cliff in order to save a plastic wheel.

Because the first anime had characters turn into monsters because they LOST to a rival group. If that is not dumb as Hell, then I'm at a total loss for words. |

Was just watching the latest episode of Medaka Box Abnormal, and just had to share these :D

AKB0048. I'm on episode 10, pretty good so far. I want toys of the robots, though considering the only toy that exist are Figuarts ZEROs, it's probably unlikely.

A man after my own heart...that...that is a man right? Anyway Anime...wow. This has been a solid season of good series: - Shinsekai Yori - Robotic Notes - Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic - K For sheer LOLs I watch Magi, good show, excellent animation. Anime take on 1001 Nights characters like Ali Baba, Sinbad and Aladdin is new and very much welcomed. Shinsekai Yori is brilliant, almost frighteningly dark. Its like a cross between The Village and another movie I can't seem to remember the title of. Its very interesting. Be wary of the very...yaoi/yuri content in episode 8 though. It ties with the story but you may be a little surprised by it. Its mild but its there. Robotic Notes is my must follow anime of the year. How they tie in a young girl's zany ambition to build a fully operational life-size replica of her favorite anime mecha (Gunvarrel, cool design too), Solar flares, a mysterious conspiracy involving NASA and JAXA, an urban legend regarding the unaired episode of Gunvarrel, a medical syndrome that causes a person to experience real time in super-slow motion...Wow. I just want to see how it all ties together. Seriously guys, check out Robotic Notes. |

Okay so apparently Madoka Magica isn't as popular as I thought. I've seen thirteen times in three days! If you don't know what is go watch it! Here's the trailer.

I like Madoka Magica...
I've been watching Da-Garn. |
i recently watched the kamen rider den-o imagin anime
|
I just finished Fullmetal Panic (the first season) and found it to be quite overrated. Its an average series with a great cast, but a good 50% of the show is incredibly dull. It doesn't help that the comedy just falls completely flat following the first "serious" arc.
I'll give Fumoffu a try, simply because that seems more in tune with the first few episodes, which I enjoyed. |

Been Watching 'Sword Art Online' religiously every week, it's amazing, after so many years of just....crap in anime (which is what turned me to Toku) it's great to have a series I'm chomping at the bit for every week.
|
More Da-Garn, got to the appearance of 7-Changer last night.
|
Spent the past 2 weeks watching GaoGaiGar and GaoGaiGar Final.
You can see where Gurren Lagann got most of its inspiration from. As a whole, GGG is as close to a masterpiece mecha series as you can get. The constantly-increasing scale was fantastic and the final episode of Final left me mostly speechless. It's a must for mech fans, IMO. |

To me, it's kinda like the difference between naturally being super manly (GaoGaiGar) and someone trying way to hard to be manly (Gurren). |

As for me I've just started watching "The adventures of the mustachiod one"(also known as Turn A Gundam!) |
It makes me so mad that Bandai announced the licensed to Turn A, kept us waiting, and then 2 years later announced they were no longer going to distribute DVDs. Now we will never get the show, or any other Gundam in the US for that matter.

They said no DVD's. Never said no more bringing stuff to the US. There's online streaming, Netflix, and things like CrunchyRoll.

Quit watching Turn A, as it was deleted from YouTube. Now watching Ga-Ga-Ga Ga-Ga-Ga Gaogigar instead! It's AWESOME!!!!!!!
|
Well, I was just watching the last episode of Toradora last night. I just love the series! I dont really watch anime other than Pokemon and DBZ, so, I decided to give this one a look. One of my favorites! I also started to watch Oreimo.
