Just got this guy in. As my first SIC, and being the newest figure in the line, I don't get a good impression. This thing looks nice but design wise I'm not a huge fan. The arms fly off just from looking at them wrong, there's nearly zero poseability in the legs as the hips can't move out at all, and the toe-bend joints are far too weak. If this nice new figure is indicative of older figures from the line then it's safe to say this line really isn't for me. I'm glad I never jumped on the Den-O sets now. I admit the sculpt is nice as well as the accessory count but the rest just doesn't work for me :(

Huh, that's kinda disappointing. I don't know anything about the character, but I thought the figure looks pretty good.
What you describe is not at all representative of my experience with the Double or Den-O SIC figures though. I don't find the articulation to be particularly limited in any way (well, Deneb and Ryutaros might have some issues with their skirts), on one of the Double figures one of the arms may pop out kinda easy, but not usually with something as simple as moving it to a new pose. I think the Den-O ones might be a little more solid than the first two Double sets. I think you should pic up a Den-O set and check it out for yourself before you disregard the line entirely. Mandarake has the Ax Form/Rod form set for 2500 yen, and I'd say that's a fantastic price. I think I paid 3500 and I'm not in anyway disappointed. They also have Climax Form/Urataros for 3000 Yen, and Sword Form/Momotaros right now, too, but it's a bit more expensive than Ax/Rod, so if you're not sold on the line I'd grab a cheaper set first. |

It just need some finagling to get them looking right. There seems to be a lot of material above the hip sockets and there's a ton of stuff on the belt that gets in the way Maybe you just got some bad qc with the arms. Does your scarf stay on? Its the biggest problem with mine, it always seems to want to fall out, really wish it were on a hinge like Super 1's was. http://i605.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSCN0025.jpg If you turn his hips just a touch it lets them go a lot farther. There's not a ton of poses I can think of that need his hips to much farther than this: http://i605.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSCN0028.jpg |
Damn... I still need to get me a ZX. Any stores out there with retail prices?

I got mine the other day, I wish it had more articulation but it seems that the emphasis for SIC now is to incorporate full articulation but place preference on sculpt. The amount of weapons is awesome. The right arm fell off a few times but it does stay on most of the time. Wish some of the joints were hindered by the sculpt. The sculpt is amazing. Overall I just wish it was more poseable. It's not a brick by any means, but if there was a SH Figuarts ZX it would smoke this one in articulation. However, an SH Figuarts version would likely be based on the onscreen incarnation rather than this more bad ass ninja demigod interpretation. |

So would anyone like to buy my MIB ZX?

The three layers of boxes seem excessive, but Wing Form Den-O is a Beautiful figure. The silver on the white is really great, the gold undersuit contrasts nicely with said white/silver, and I love the eyes. Very happy to have this, and it might be my favorite of the five single Imagin forms.
If only I had thought to bring my wire cutters to work so I could get him out of his freaking package. Derp. |
I really like the use of translucent plastic on the Imagins. Great pics!
|
Thank you for reminding me how bummed I am that the KT version of Kin, Ura, and Ryuu are only available in a big, exclusive, and expensive boxset. :(
|
You're welcome. :o
I too, really like the translucent plastic, really looks great. It's more subtle in person than the pics, but it's cool. |

You know, even though I JUST completed the Imagins, I found the Den-Liner set with the KT versions of the Imagins on Mandarake. I nearly bought it.
If the other Den-O forms are released as KT, I would probably end up getting everything all over again. I REALLY dig the look of the Den-O SICs, more than the Double figures (except maybe FangJoker). |
So, somebody posted this at HJU earlier today, and I thought it should be put here.
G Den-O Tamashii Webshouten, October 2012 http://i.imgur.com/AhV6N.jpg http://p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshouten/item-1000016359/ http://i.imgur.com/mzLrY.jpg I wants it, despite not having yet watched any of the Chou Den-O Trilogy. I'm a big fan of the Den-O SIC figures in general. If only they would also announce Sieg, I don't care if he's exclusive, I need him to finish off the set. |
Hey guys, over on TFW2005, I have some questions regarding SIC's, specifically the Wolf Orphnoch. My current question is down at the bottom and is in BOLD.
Here's the thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/toyark...hread-215.html Quote:

The KTs are pretty damn durable. I've had several of them fall off of shelves and suffer absolutely no damage. The only problems I've ever had were with Blade and Garo - Blade's right shoulder pad broke off the ball (easily fixed with glue) and Garo's fist broke with the ball stuck in the wrist socket (not easily fixed and a pain in the ass to get out). Those are the only breakages I've had. The Garo figures and Blade have some molding issues and limitations, but the figures are very solid and nice.
You are not going to find a Wolf Orphenoch in the Figuarts or Motion Revive lines. There is a big SIC, but it's an alternate armor for the Faiz SIC and is reportedly pretty fragile. I don't have the KT version, but I've never heard anything bad about it. |

yeah...cracked and got them...amiami had it on sale, but once you factor in shipping, just washed getting through Amazon...can not WAIT to finally have a version of Skull in my collection though!

Got Anothr Agito and Gills at the beginning of the month. AA is a HUGE improvement over ZX due to him being more limited :lol

It just hit me...how freaking awesome would an S.I.C. Captain Marvelous be?
|
Not as cool as Accel would be, if they would ever get around to doing him.

Great, so only, what, 9 years to go, for Accel. I can't wait!

With KR, they always make it so that it seems the hero is actually transformed into the Rider, rather than a man underneath wearing armor. I think with the flat black visor not alloying for eyes and no mouth piece, it just wouldn't work very well... |
Man, I had to go digging to find this thread. :lol
Anyway, SIC KT Kuuga has been out for awhile now and apparently a lot of people are really bummed with how much shorter he is than the standard KT. Thankfully, someone over at HJU found and posted a fix for it. All you need is a KT Faiz. http://micromatsing.blogspot.com/201...ouHenshin.html :thumb: |

I've gotten Kiwami Kuuga and haven't opened him up. Didnt realized he's smaller then the usual figures.

SIC GataKiriBa confirmed along with a TaToBa effect parts set. And what appears to be the Trychaser for Kuuga? Which is crazy because I have that exact Try Chaser. It looks exactly like the DX one that came with the Beet add-on.

SIC KT TryChaser?! Yes please! I'll probably buy it eitherway, but Gouram Armor guarantees my purchase. I do see that it includes gripping hands (of course) and the handle nightstick thingie (which gives me hope for Titan form one day).
|
should be noted Gatakiriba and the effect parts are webshop
|
I hope SaGoZo doesn't end up an exclusive. As nice as the rest are he's the only one I'm interested in.
|
I really hope they release all the bikes for SIC KT. I will be down for these. Trychasher looks really good.
