But like you said, it does make for a pretty stunning figure! |
Although its not in your comment, the Faiz kit is also great. Simple construction and really the only stickers to complete the look are some of the red piping, some bits around the helmet, and one for the phone.
This kit IMO also has the best range of accessories of all the FSR releases |
As someone who is addicted to model kits, I highly recommend these, sometimes they're even a great substitute to Figuarts. The plastic quality is the gunpla standard, but from what I've seen with Figurerise is that they tend to have 'higher' quality in the sense that some metallic parts are painted with metallic colors, and even better than certain gunpla. This can be seen on Kamen Rider Zi-O and Wargreymon.
Speaking of, I would highly recommend Zi-O over the Figuarts version, since not only the Ridewatch can be detailed (thru sticker), but he also comes with his weapons. I would post a picture of Zi-O but..... He has retired. It may be off topic but I will post Wargreymon to give you a gist of how good this line is just from a straight build. |

Bandai used different finishes for the watchbands on the torsos, metallic for Zi-O and graphite (?) for Geiz, and it really makes them pop. Fun kits! |
Could someone do pics of Marvel Legends with the Figure Rise Rider, specifically Ex Aid?

Would anyone happen to know the weight rounded to a hundred grams of a Sodo set and a Figure Rise?
|
If you're wondering about shipping, I can tell you right away weight is not a factor so much as the box size. Figurerise boxes are huge, about three times the width of current "slim" Figuarts boxes. They weight little, but the dimensions always put the price up.

I have opened my last figure rise standard box last week, so I can't say how much it weights unopened. It is not that heavy. The box is sure bigger than sodo, but it should not change the shipping cost from amiami (the shipping cost is based on the parcel weight so it also depend on how much paper they put inside to protect it). I can't give any order of shipping cost as I always had something else inside the parcel when ordering a kamen rider figure rise standard. neoxul |

So just in case anyone missed it, because I certainly did until right this minute -- it seems that the Premium Bandai-exclusive Kamen Rider Joker comes with parts to make him instead look like JokerJoker! In other words, the Final Form Ride that turns W into two riders. The key difference between Joker and JokerJoker is that the latter has a complete W Driver with two Joker memories, as well as the grey line separator... things down the middle that W usually has but Lost Driver users lack. I'll show normal Joker at the bottom for easy comparison!

Hoping they make CycloneCyclone and CycloneAccelXtreme someday then!

Bandai posted a blog post about the color technique used for the upcoming Hibiki kit.

It comes down to the technology of delivering an accurate representation of a character without too many stickers required for color accuracy- at price of less than about $40. Gunpla retains such a great value proposition because Bandai already owns the rights to Gundam (Sunrise studios being a subsidiary). Even though they have a good relationship with Toei, Kamen Rider plastic model kits are still subject to license costs. |
I hope they continue to do well and expand. While I have loved them, so far they only release about 4 riders a year plus one or two Premium-bandai recolours -- so I'd love to see more content, especially with how cheap these are.
|
I really hope the line continues to grow too. I might be an incompetent doof when it comes to building them, but I do legit like these, and I think the Riders have definitely been the best kits when it comes to the FSR series.

Right, I’ve got till Sunday to decide between W, Build and Ex-Aid. I’m leaning to Ex-Aid but also really like W and Build.
|
Team Rider is actually doing a contest on their IG and Twitter right now for a chance at winning a free copy of CycloneJoker if anyone wants to enter.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CBEKZpSAEhp/ I would but I don't have a twitter. |

I’m really P’d off that Genm is a P Bandai exclusive that I can find for £40+ at the cheapest.
|
My payment request came in earlier than expected and I decided on Ex-Aid.

https://media.discordapp.net/attachm...88/unknown.png SHF size, while other FRS figures are taller than shf but in my opinion, the size is not that bad, he is just a little short but, Build's height is 196 cm, Double's height is 195 cm, and Ex-Aid's height is 205.0 cm bruh |
Granted, Ex-Aid has the anime hair. Their eyes still seen to be at about the same point
|
Funny, I came to this thread because I wanted to know two things: how do these scale with SHF, and how will Hibiki's purple look in person? I got answered both. :D

the purple thing on the head/helmet is accurate(?) maybe it is, there's a purple thing on the head/helmet, but it's not a clear part |
because it is now approaching July, which is the month Figure Rise Den-O was released, let's talk about it.
(src : bandai-hobby.net) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...28/unknown.png i know the translation isn't really that accurate, but i get it the point is we can change plat form to sword form. https://media.discordapp.net/attachm...78/unknown.png build it with different parts, cuz this is figure-rise standard. https://media.discordapp.net/attachm...38/unknown.png we can reproduce hissatsu attack part 2 with it, and the tip of the aura sword is separable. ok, for the Accessories / parts, we got https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...64/unknown.png the parts for both Sword Form and Plat Form. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...04/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...88/unknown.png Dengasher sword mode, and the effect part. https://media.discordapp.net/attachm...84/unknown.png a Rider Pass (i wonder if it can be opened, cuz it says just 1 Rider Pass). https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...16/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...34/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...26/unknown.png 3 hands parts for each right and left (punching hands, open hands, and weapon holding hands ?), right thumbs up hand for ore sanjou, and a right hand part for holding the rider pass. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...38/unknown.png a standard figure-rise stand, and a stand for the effect part ? (maybe it attach to the sword ?) https://media.discordapp.net/attachm...61/unknown.png last but not least, stickers, and a namer seal ?, is that some kind of decal? ok, that's it |

https://collectorshuki.files.wordpre...oswordform.jpg As for the Rider Pass, I would expect it to just be a solid piece rather than anything that can open. That was a very minor feature that even the recent Seihou doesn't replicate and I doubt they'd do that. |
