Here's the Mills Creek stuff so far. They do not have a mailing list to get updates of what's coming out (which is ridiculous and annoying), but you can check their website.. https://i.imgur.com/oDRuViX.png also it's less expensive if you don't get the steelbook additions, and even cooler is that the regular editions seem to be making a sort of collage when they're side by side. (I'll get a picture...) ...so I have to keep getting the regular editions because I like seeing the collage getting filled out. https://i.imgur.com/9HCISSK.jpg |
Missing Jet Man plus Go Go 5 forward. That said with a Blu Ray deck active I might soon go for some Ultra shows.

www.shoutfactorytv.com and www.tubi.tv have Jetman-Hurricanger up for streaming. Both have Roku Apps and are desktop capable. Even successfully watched an episode of Timeranger on my phone! Crunchyroll also holds some Ultraman, such as Gaia, Nexus, Ginga (and Season 2 Ginga S), X, Orb, and Geed! The main benefit in buying physical copies means you are both supporting the tokusatsu in the West and will always have the means to watch even if a streamer pulls content or fades into the annals of history. I wholeheartedly believe that the Riders will be up for streaming if someone obtains the license, but Mill Creek licensed their current Ultraman releases to MovieSpree which operates on the "pay for each individual episode" model, and I have never and will never believe that to be a good model to follow! P. S.: Most Blu-ray players will play DVDs, making them an optimum choice for either or! |
yes but if you buy the bluray collections from Mill Creek you get the download codes for MovieSpree.
So I have the physical copies but I also get to watch them on my phone or tablet whenever I feel like. And it's fantastic having UltraQ, Ultraman, Ultraseven, Geed, and Orb on my phone or tablet whenever I want. There's times maybe I'm just sitting in a waiting room or something and I can pull out my phone and watch some Ultraman. It's pretty great. |
I started watching the Ranger shows on DVD (The ones PR adapted) so I may do the Rider ones next.
