Come on, W and/or OOO! :D
|
I also think it will be OOO.
|
I'd be happy with anything to be honest, glad they're putting out another series! I'd like to see something that has a subpar fansubs get released the most though, maybe Faiz, Den-O, or Kabuto. Heck, I'd even take Kiva. (It takes a lot of courage for me to say that one.)
|
Personally hoping for W, but I'd take just about anything at this point.

Cyclone! Joker!

I was a bit worry that SF was done with Kamen Rider after hearing nothing for a long time.
|
Glad to hear we might finally have another Rider show getting officially subbed!!!
|
I was just thinking we hadn't had a new release in a while. Glad to see they're continuing, and I'll definitely be supporting whatever it is.
|
|
I hear Geats is pretty good compare to the last two shows before it.

In comparison to Saber and Revice? Saber's another one of my favorites, so I think they're both great, and while I do like Geats more than Revice, I at least found a good number of elements that I liked in Revice that I wish were done a bit differently. |
Entry.

Personally I didn't vibe with Geats that much and since I watched it live I'm not exactly raring for a rewatch since it was so recent. Still, I'm really impressed they managed to license a show that is basically brand new! I'll definitely be supporting this.

Nice, I haven't seen any of Geats. The fact that they're releasing the most recent complete show is awesome. Hopefully that bodes well for further closing the gap between Japanese and American releases.
|
Was hoping it'd be a season I haven't seen yet, but I loved Geats so I can't wait to have the Blu-Ray release for it
|
Wow, I'm kind of shocked it's Geats, not that I can complain because it's a fantastic series but it's so recent...I hope this means they can start getting more of the recent shows out there.
Or maybe Team Rider just has a thing for Yuya Takahashi. Maybe Ex-Aid will be next! |

That's awesome! Especially if it'll be streaming as well!
|
I just seriously hope we won't be limited to just Geats in terms of official US releases of Kamen Rider from Shout Factory this year. Still hoping for either W or OOO albeit with the former being more likely.

Watching the premiere right now. Once again, like Zero-One, Shout Factory was provided with the TV broadcast version as the master used (Super Hero Time bumper + screen proximity warning). The box set will also NOT include the summer movie. |
I forget, did they re-air Episode 1 on TV again with the edited scene?
Because Episode 1 is the modified Episode 1 that has a waist and back shot of the Game Master instead of the face shot that had the copyrighted mask people pointed out. |

$100 MSRP? Pass. I'll watch it on streaming, though.
|
Well, I guess this makes up for me not actually finishing the series while it was airing (thanks to all the crap going on with Bilibili, which I was streaming it from).
Still hoping for Faiz, Hibiki and Gain at some point, but will definitely be grabbing this as I was a big fan of the series up to where I left off (during the Jamato GP arc). |
While I know that the Geats Blurays is expensive at $90, I decided to check how much the Geats Blurays cost in Japan. They're three separate collections, but each can cost up to $175, so we're really getting the best deal here.
While still not ideal, this is probably the best deal that Shout! Factory could've gotten us from Toei and Bandai. Don't confuse this as a defense or approval, just that it genuinely cost a LOT more if they didn't get it down to that. Plus, if you want to think about it, this makes each episode cost like $2 each, which I feel like is what would be priced it you wanted to buy individual episodes. |
