US Release Shinken-Oh Available For Pre-Order At Toys R Us
3 Attachment(s)
ToyRUs.com have begun taking preorders for the US release of Shinken-Oh, the base mecha from the Super Sentai series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Though this robot was released in the Power Rangers Samurai toy line as the Samurai Megazord, the Bandai of America release was a less-detailed, scaled down version that omitted the emblem/origami modes for the five components. This new version is expected to be identical to the original Japanese release.
Currently priced at $79.99, it estimated for release in May 2013. Check out pics in all three modes and discuss this release after the jump! Thanks to TokuNation.com member Uppercaseccc for sharing! |
Shinken-oh up for pre-order
So Shinken-oh is up for preorder for 79.99. I'm gonna give him a past he is just to much for what I'm willing to pay for a 4 year old toy when it comes out still if you want him here is what you could expect for price. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...uctId=17880096

I think $80 is a good deal, especially considering that it'll just raise in price every year.
|
I'm potentially willing to pay $80 for this, funds at the time permitting.
If it comes to the UK for £80 though? No chance :lol |
Did we ever find out if it was going to be in Japanese or US packaging?
|
Maybe I'm a miser, but 80 dollars seams awfuly steep for what will be a reissue of a 4 year old toy.

unless they reissue the japanese aux zords and clawzord i dont see much point
|
And pre-ordered. $80 for the convenience doesn't sound bad to me. From what I can see, Shinken-Oh is gaining value so to be able to get a brand new one for just $80 instead of having to hunt down one, pay import costs, etc
Though that's not taking into consideration if this'll show up in TRU stores as well and shelfwarm like most of their high-priced exclusives, only to be available later during a sale |

Those zords sucked in both countries. |

Already bought a full Ha-oh a couple years back, so I won't be going for this. I wish I could support something like this, 'cause it should be supported, but I can't afford to double-dip.
|
Why buy this when I have the whole Samurai Ha-Oh for sale? shameless self plug :lolol

So is this thing going to end up in store also? I'd love to get it but seeing it in store as opposed to ordering it online always makes a difference to me.

Give me the same price in Australian dollars and he's mine. I fear though, that even if he does come here, it will be jacked up ridiculously in price.
|
This is our chance to have a collectors line for Power Rangers for all those who don't like the new Zord Builder system. So support it and we may get more.
|
I regularly see Shinkenoh for 4000-6000 yen on Mandarake all the time. The chances of ever seeing it in my TRU are slim. Probably just take my chances continuing to wait this one out.
|
A US release of the japanese toy? That's pretty cool. I think I maybe once saw it for 4000 on Mandarake, and guessing that shipping would bring it close up to this price, I'll be seeing if my cousin can use his TRU discount to order it for me.
|
when i got mine form mandrake for 3,500 yen using cheapest shipping worked out to to about $75 shipped for me to the USA it is on the heavy side compared to some megazords
|
Cool! I think this is good for people who wanted one and could never get it, and $80 isn't that bad a price.
|
Now thats the Shinken-Oh i'm looking for! The americian one is cool and all but its lacking. So given funds and if i ever see it in my tru i will buy it without a second thought.
|
It would be real cool If the Deluxe Shinken Oh set comes to the UK
I tried to get in touch with the people at Bandai UK about Deluxe ShinkenOh and they aid that they have no plans for it because I'm real annoyed by it.
So the SDCC Exclusive ShinkenOh Megazord (Original Japanese Bandai Deluxe version) as released in Toys R Us in teh United States of America but Don't you think it would be extra cool for DX ShinkenOh to be released in the UK at a very reasonable and affordable price? |

I got in touch with the people at Bandai UK a while ago and they said that they have no plans to release in the UK which I find real unfair and real annoying. I figured the only place to look for DX Shinken Oh is Ebay. |
