Uchu Sentai KyuRanger Episode 31- "The Naga Rescue Operation!" Discussion
Naga remains under the control of Akyanba. Balance is determined to free his old friend at ANY cost...
As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts. Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |
Kids a reminder that no matter who you are, there's a little Balance and Lucky inside of you.
While I'm glad that Nagaquest is over, I'm still sad that Champ and the Commander are now out of the picture. For what it's worth though, maybe it's the dynamic, I'm not mad that so many Yossha Lucky's made it into this episode. Perhaps its the fact that he's all Kiwami Arms Gaim now. Or that he is actually acting a bit more serious. Either way, I think it got replaced by Holy Moly. I'm really confused by Don Armage. Is he defeated, or not defeated? Will the Orion fly again, or not? Will there ever be an end to the bromance that is Naga and Balance? |
Unlike the Stinger Arc, the Dark Naga Arc actually had a satisfying conclusion. I'm so glad the show decided to make this not just a two-part episode conflict

Gotta say I had a slight chuckle where the microscopic monster grows (including a POV shot),only to grow to human size.
Good episode as well, and I feel the show is better as it goes along. I also like that Naga gets to keep his power-up, as not many non-Red and 6th rangers get to have an exclusive power-up. |
Really happy with the way everything played out here. Naga and Balance are great and so was this episode.

I don't expect them to do so, but it would be nice. |

Nice conclusion to the Evil Naga story and I like that Naga gets to keep the Hebitsukai Metal form. Hope we see it more in future episodes.

Except for the mech battle that seemed to be thrown in at the last minute, this was a great episode. I loved the growing big scene with the monster of the week, especially when Sparda is looking all around for a gianst monster. That was priceless. :lol
The way they handled returning Naga was interesting and I like that he gets to keep his dark form now. Oh, but what was the point of Echidna? She did absolutely nothing other than have us look at Naga's actor do such a horrible job of dressing up as a woman that Ru Paul would be in tears. Last question, did I miss the episode when Garu and gang were captured? I don't remember them being caught. |
