You must mean Magnaguiga, his contract monster. I think that will either be sold separately as a Tamashii Web exclusive, or it was just there on display never to be release like so many toys Bandai shows off at events.

And yeah, Magnugigga is going to be a standalone release. I don't care as much now that we know Zolda is coming with all of his weapons anyway. |

I'll admit Emperor and Dark Kiva look completely badass but I still just cannot stand that show :(
|
Well, then u r dumb an' I don't like you. :(
I just watched Kiva: King of Hell's Castle, or whatever the movie was called, and it was pretty fun. It would have fit better had I watched it before I finished the series, but ah well. I feel justified in having bought the SH Rey/Arc set off of somebody a few weeks ago (if only it would arrive now) without having seen the film. I like the designs, even if they're not as cool as Kiva. There was some strange Den-O crap at the end of it. I really want to see Den-O, but I'm afraid it's going to be the first KR series that I can't stand, I just don't see how I can not compare it to Kiva, Double, or OOO, and not have it compare poorly, it looks SO goofy. |
i have the exact opposite opinion, i liked the show, but Emperor Form is a little silly looking, i think its the waist length cape that just puts it over the top for me. its the bermuda shorts of capes

That said I watched Kiva and at first really dug it. It just sort of started to lose me about halfway in. Id already seen Den-O and Decade before it and couldn't help but compare it against them. It had some great rider designs and had a good idea with telling two timeliness worth of story, I just don't feel like it was executed very well. |
Well, I want to watch the Kiva/Den-O movie, but I want to be somewhat familiar with Den-O before I do, so I was thinking of watching an episode or two tonight. I'll get back to you when I do.
|
Huh. One episode down, color me intrigued. To keep this somewhat on topic, what forms of Den-O have seen SHF releases?
|
im glad that turned out well, and i think im going to try to get a gokaired next

All of the other Den-O Figuarts are either Imagin or movie Riders, and most of them are exclusives. |
Here's to hoping I can get a Wing Form eventually

Wing Form and Strike Form are two of the best designs to come out of Den-O. |
Just got my Cyclone Joker in about 1/2 hour ago, this thing is gorgeous. It was a steal, I got the last one off Midtown Comics for $30 shipped. And as a plus, it's distributed by Bluefin, which is always a good thing for me ever since my Wild Tiger incident.
|
I don't have CJ yet, but my large Mandarake order came in the other day, with the Heat and Cyclone 2 packs which were $40 or $45 each, and somebody on HJU sold me HeatMetal and LunaTrigger for $20 each. And yeah, they're great! Glad to finally have some Double figures.
Going back to Den-O, I know the Kiva SH figures are pretty great, are the Den-O SHs any good, or should I wait for an SHF release of Sword Form? |

Agito should be arriving today, hes probably not the best figuarts, but i really love the show so far! |

Alright, sounds like good advice, I can wait for SHF releases. It's not like there aren't still tons of SHFs I want to buy in the meantime.
|
SH Figuarts Fourze Fire States is up for pre-order at HLJ if anyone is interested...
|
If you get the Five Form Change set Mandarake has, it has proper weapon-holding hands. The downside is that the armor is all plated metallic or chrome, so it's not show accurate. But the Den-O figures are basically 95% of the way to Figuarts already. I don't have a Kiva to know if that pushed even closer, but I can tell you that in articulation these absolutely fit in with Figuarts.
It's taken me a little more than two months, but as soon as a final two orders arrive, I'll have the entire line up of Souchaku Den-O. And I don't even want to begin to think how much I've spent on it in total. :( |

The most notable differences I've found between SH Kiva and SHF Rising Ixa are the feet/ankles: kiva's foot has no toe bend, and the ankle is a simple ball joint on a long enough peg that it gets okay side-to-side movement, decent back, but little forward movement; the wrists are balls inside the forearms, and some of the hands have a really great forward/backward hinge.
The rest is pretty comparable to SHF. |

Yeah I thought I'd check it out on a fluke to see and attempted to order fully expecting it to be cancelled due to low stock, guess they checked their stock and found more? Like you said though they are out of stock. They have a good price on fang joker as well!
|
Got Kamen Rider Black today and I noticed that it doesn't have the dropped down thighs for a deeper stance like Shadow Moon, so Figuarts has definitely been improved over the years
|
my ryuki came in today and i love it
|
Well I finally said screw you to BBTS on Gokai Red and Blue. I emailed they're customer service department about Gokai Red and Blue and they gave me this BS:
