Figuart-Scale Accessories
Considering the awesome things Ryan has been doing with the DQ and nail salon backdrops and the number of folks asking where to get them, I was thinking maybe we could put together a resource thread for 1:12 scale accessories and where people can get them. (Like the upcoming Gaim-style delivery scooter, for another example.) I mean, for those people interested in dioramas or neat picture scenarios. Good idea? Bad idea?
Edit: Although, now that I think on it, I'm not sure this is the proper section for it. But most of these things are toys, too, so who knows. :D |

I'll go ahead and post a couple of things I've found.
1:12 Train Station Turnstile (available in black and white): http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/black_ticket.jpghttp://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/white_ticket.jpg Amazon UK has the White one. Amazon US has the Black one and the White one. HLJ has the Black one and the White one. Plamoya has the Black one and the White one. Need that secret entrance to the Rabbit Hutch? http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/locker.jpg HLJ seems to be the only one to have these locker kits. http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/egg_chair_sm.jpg There is a 1:12 line of furniture known as the Miniatures Design Interior Collection. Mandarake has a box of these, but eBay seems to have the best selection. I particularly love the Egg Chair. Although the Lip Couch is amusing. I keep hoping they'll put a Bravo-style couch. TomyTec makes a number of 1:12 scale awesomeness including School Gates and Train Station Chairs. HobbySearch has most of their stuff in stock. And thanks to uchihabro77, we know AmiAmi is taking preorders on the Gaim-style scooter. http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/scooter.jpg |
This is an awesome thread! Thanks for posting it. Keep 'em coming, so I can keep spending money on accessories :lol

With your permission, I'd like to share the finds between here and RangerBoard. Just don't want to cause no rift here. http://www.thefind.com/buy-aHdzHPXV?...ma+model+hobby A science desk, high school by the look of it. |
Yay! Some interest in the thread. Here are a few more items:
A good scale fence at HLJ to recreate that rooftop we've seen in every Toku series, ever. http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/fence_sm.jpg A nice classroom backdrop at HLJ. They have a slightly different Showa era classroom as well. http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/class_mod_sm.jpg And this guy (Macs Mouldings) makes scale sea/boat accessories but he's got awesome things like chairs, doors, hatches, equipment, all kinds of cool things. Plus, he's the only guy I've found so far who makes actual, proper 1:12 scale oil/55 gallon drums. http://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images...ed_drum_sm.jpghttp://shuangxi-in-spring.com/Images/oil_drum_sm.jpg |
There's a series of 1/12 accessories by Hasagawa, they have classroom chairs/desks, office desks, and several other types of chairs/tables/desks.
Example: http://www.hlj.com/product/HSGFA-01/Dol Another company called "Mile Stone" also makes some 1/12 toilet "dioramas":p Like this one: http://www.hlj.com/product/MLS46038/Dol They come as a plastic model kits that you have to put together and add some paint to. Scale-wise, they are perfect for Figuarts and Figmas. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8535/8...7462fdb4_c.jpg Yup...even Saiyans gotta go... by Jcee_, on Flickr |

I found this website:
http://www.miniatures.com/ (Note: 1" Scale means 1/12) I'm not sure how reliable it is, as I've never ordered anything from them. Also for food I really like BonAppetEats work. http://img0.etsystatic.com/034/0/678...36794_m19c.jpg DeviantArt: http://bon-appeteats.deviantart.com/ Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BonAppetEat...hopheader-name and I just found birdielover on DeviantArt while trying to find BonAppetEat's DeviantArt. I know its for the 12"ers, but it could work for your Figuarts or other 6"ers. Use your imagination. Ok, just keeping the thread fresh. My thread over at RB is getting stale, so switchers here go check it out. http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/a...psa687697f.jpg |
These thing are just to cool.

Just bought the 'MiWorld' Dairy Queen set from TRU today. I love how these essentially 'dioramas' work so well with Figuarts even if they're supposed to be for girls dolls and stuff.

Might try my luck at Times Sq. They had discounted sets, but think they're repackaged returns so they might be missing something. One Opi set was missing the front nail polish set. Dunno, might be up your alley for those in the NYC area, but I'm not risking it. I'll buy the MIB sets. |
I command this thread to LIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!
I stumbled across these earlier this evening while scavenging for effects parts. They seem promising: http://www.obitsu.co.jp/supply/image...ffect01_03.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-B...0/DSC00664.JPG |
You bastards I love you, I was trawling the internet for 1/12 acessories and you guys just had this perfect thread here.

If someone would make a Fire Smasher in Cannon mode (I forgot the Japanese name) that allows you to take the discs from the other Ranger's/ Shinkenger's weapons and place them in the cannon, that would be great

So I tried out that Mac's Mouldings place and the barrels just arrived today, because I'm dumb and didn't read the measurements I have one normal sized oil drum and two mini oil drums so I gotta order another normal sized one to balance it out haha.
But these are really nicely made, they'll require a bit of painting and glueing together some parts. If anyone wants some oil drums, here's the details for the one I got. M129 1/12th scale resin oil drum 1 per pack. 72mm tall x 50mm diameter. minor construction needed. Price £ 2.90 Also looking at more of the items he's got....you could so make a docks diorama... Also if anyone wants a photo I'll take one later and edit the post, I'm just really lazy atm |
For no reason other than I'm completely mad and utterly irresponsible with my money, I'm considering picking up some of those Little Armory weapons. Anyone know just how well they scale with Figuarts? They seem like a decent match for Marvel Legends figures.

HLJ has some interesting 1/12 scale accessories like desks, chairs, and arcade machines
