Check out this beautiful piece by Tsuyoshi Nonaka from this year's Power Morphicon.

Why can't these be real things to buy? :(

The light at the center was flashing, btw :)

Pretty...
Gorgeous! It's a shame there are no transformed pics here, but it does give one a different impression on what was once, in essence, a brick. This thing has enough possibility to warrant calling it a battlezord! The Zeo Ultrazord (or King Pyramidder Battle Formation) was just a mammoth with firepower, while this thing can give it where it hurts. What if Wolfbane (or Bara Goblin) had to fight this instead? Did/Will Nonaka do anything else? Why just Pyramidas?

Beautiful. It would be cool if he had the rest of the Zeo zords to go with it. I'd really like to see what he could do with the Super Zeo Megazord.

2018 legasy pyramidas? Maybe? I know im not only one who would by one.

Oh man, that's gorgeous. I've always loved Pyramidas as a design. Actually built my own out of Legos when I was younger.

It's not like Transformers where I can take any random figure that turns into a car and, with enough creativity, turn it into another character that's also a car. Zords are pretty cut-and-dry, each being so unique that it really limits their potential to be used as anything else. Of course, you can always create your own interpretation using figures and materials from different lines, but that's an even bigger challenge. I would like to see more people tackling the articulation of the old 6 inch "Action Zord" figures. They're fun to work with and there's one for almost every megazord. It also frees the artist to be a little bit more imaginative when they don't have to worry about combining and gimmicks. As far as customizing the individual Rangers? No clue. Maybe it's because no one wants to touch the roided out BOA figs? I have seen some cool interpretations of rangers using figures from other toy lines. |
this figure just doesn't fit with the power rangers.. there's too much articulation lol.. but seriously, this looks great, and just reminds me that this franchise has been around for so long yet the zords haven't progressed at all when it comes to articulation. i mean.. voltron has been posable for a while now, you'd think they'd recognize the play value in movable joints.
