Does anyone has any ideas for a "Music" themed Sentai ?
|
I did, years ago! I never properly wrote it down, but let's see what I remember. Allow me to introduce you to:
Sonic Sentai Orchestranger So the main team of four are based around the four main parts in an orchestra, and they transform with the "Tuning Changer", a wrist mounted changer that they load the gimmick item into - a CD-like colourful disc - and spin it to change. OrchestRed - Themed around the String Section, specifically a violin. Armed with the prsonal "Bow Blader", a sword themed after a violin bow. A virtuoso player with a passion for improvising, OrchestRed is squad leader because he possesses the "Violin Orchestrecord", slowly mellowing out from a spotlight happy egotist to a calm and collected leader. OrchestBlue - Themed around the brass section, specificallya trumpet. Armed with the "Slider Shooter", a trumpet/trombone gun that I haven't just stolen from Ibuki. A mellow, laid back jazz enthusiast, OrchestBlue is the calm and mellow heart of the team. OrchstGreen - Themed around the woodwinds sction, specifically the flute, and armed with the "Reed Rod", a staff based on a flute. OrchestGreen is a music teacher - a perfectionist, especially for herself, OrchestGreen pushes the team to new hights. OrchestPink - Themed around the percussion section, specifically a drum. Wields the Snare Shield, a shield based on a snare drum. A blunt young woman, OrchestPink tends to act without thinking, although maybe someday she'll become a better team player. Each member of the team also has a MetroSaber, a sword based on a Metronome, which you can make tick for a boosted attack. And of course, you can combine their unique weapons together into the Sonicannon. A few episodes in, the team are met with a new member, one representing a far more modern brand of music - OrchestSilver, armed with his guitar-themed weapon and unique changer, he acts on his own, clashes with the red for a few episodes, before they learn to harmonize. OrchestSilver can switch between his main mode, and a Bass Mode, which gives him some funky black highlights in his suit. Also also you could probably add in "OrchestIdol" as an Extra Hero but that's a new idea from just now, I don't have anything deeper behind it. |
Awesome, I also has an idea for it but my mind is still blank. It involve singing and dancing with an all male rangers consist of boy bands who were chosen to become superheroes.
|
I've had a couple music-themed sentai ideas over the years.
One, which was so bad I don't want to go into detail, had the rangers based on different sub-genres of specifically metal music, for no real reason other than I like metal XD The other, Utau Sentai Toriger (Singing Sentai Bird-ger) combined a music theme with a bird theme. The rangers were themed after small birds - Tori Cardinal (red), Tori Bluebird (blue), Tori Canary (yellow), Tori Parakeet (green) and Tori Rosefinch (pink), later joined by Tori Raven (black) - were a band in their civilian lives, and they fought against instrument-themed villains who turned the "songs of people's hearts" into birds and trapped them in "gilded cages." Most of these birds would just fly back to the person they came from once freed, returning the "music" to their hearts, but a few would also grant the Torigers new collectables and power-ups, like one based on a woodpecker that allowed jackhammer-like attacks. |
Could you guys help me and give me ideas for my Sentai Shineranger like plot, mechas, equipment/weapons and characters ? is a space-themed sentai.
|
I just got this idea for a construction themed sentai while I was doing some drawing practice earlier.
Construction Sentai Buildrangers They are composed of two teams. Team A composed of Red, Blue and Yellow, Team B composed of Violet, Green and Orange. While it's both team's duty to defeat attacking monsters. They also have different roles out of them. Team A focuses on the reconstruction of the damages during attack while Team B is focused more on gathering materials for construction. Build Red - The leader of Team A. An eccentric young man who has a passion for building things but his passion tends to get to his head and he can be a bit stubborn at times. Luckily his teammates are there to keep him in check. His main weapon is a large Drill gun. And his mecha is a large truck/tank with two drills which forms the robot's legs and head Build Blue - A calm man who likes collecting swords. A bit of a history nerd he serves as the voice of reason for their team whenever his teammates get out of line. His weapon is a saw bladed katana and his mech is a truck/tank thing with a chainsaw which forms the right chest and arm of the robot. Build Yellow - Red's younger sister who while sharing some of his passion for building, is too hot headed and impulsive which often results to her breaking stuff around her. She argues a lot with her brother but secretly just envious of his talent and just want to be like her brother. Her weapon is a large hammer with a built-in nailgun. Her mech is again a giant truck tank thing which forms the left chest and arm of the robot. Build Kaiser - Team A's mecha with an arm mounted chainsaw, hammer that can be used as a shield (or a knuckleduster). And drill cannons on both shoulders. Build Violet - A somewhat cool headed former scientist leading Team B. She has the aura of an exhausted office lady and she always makes plans that prioritize efficiency. She kinda treats her teammates haphazardly but that's because she wants them to always do their best and she trust them a lot. Her weapon is a drill lance. And her mech is an drill machine with a single large drill which forms the entire right side of their robot. Build Orange - A happy-go-lucky young rookie who idolizes their leader a lot. She loves to travel and go on treasure hunts though not for the treasure itself but just for the thrill. She prides herself in her ability to memorize areas and terrain and usually is the one to scout for resource sites. Her weapon is a multi purpose shovel And her mecha is an excavator that forms the left arm of their robot. Build Green - A somewhat paranoid young man who takes great precaution in everything. He is dedicated to their leader but at the same time is annoyed by some of her more risky methods. His weapon is a large claw gauntlet. And his mecha is a bulldozer that forms the left leg of their robot. Build Hunter - Team B's mecha with an asymmetrical design and focus on quick movement and melee combat with it's drill arm and claws |
That sounds really cool! Although it's kinda funny that none of their mecha are actual construction vehicles

Okay, I'd be shocked if Toei actually did something this unconventional (although after Zenkaiger it seems a bit more possible), but hear me out:
Konchuu Sentai Bazuger (Insect Sentai Buzz-ger), a bug-themed Sentai whose mecha are small enough that their combined robo is still just human-sized! One possibility, which would probably take more special effects or camera trickery, would have the Bazugers and their enemies both be small fairy-like beings, small enough that humans are "giant" to them. The other option is for the Bazugers to be human or at least human-sized, and their mecha to just be smaller than them. Maybe their bodies would disappear somehow when they were in their mecha, like how the Magirangers physically turned into theirs, or maybe their "mecha" would be used like attack drones or weapons instead of vehicles? Anyway, instead of growing giant, in this version their enemies would "molt" after defeat into a more powerful form that requires their combined robot (BazuOh? Konchuu King?) to beat. Anyway, here's the team lineup: Red Beetle, the leader, a brave and headstrong guy with a samurai-like personality. Yellow Wasp, the second in command, sharp-tongued but fiercely loyal to her family. Blue Dragon, the sharpshooter, easygoing and always acting cool, he keeps leaving the "fly" off his roll call. Green Mantis, the swordsman, quiet and patient but he sometimes comes off as creepy. Pink Butterfly, the mystic, graceful and ladylike with mysterious power over the wind. And the sixth, Silver Hopper, the mentor, a veteran warrior with a strong sense of justice, he's a motorcyclist, a cyborg, and overall a very obvious Kamen Rider homage. And if Red Beetle was specifically a rhinoceros beetle, he could have a brother, Crimson Stag. Maybe even a replacement leader who takes over when Beetle is incapacitated and struggles to fill his brother's shoes? Or an antihero motivated by jealousy of his brother? Crimson Stag could also fill the sixth ranger slot with Silver Hopper being the extra ranger, or even being a non-ranger hero. And of course they have a team blaster called the Bazubazooka or something like that XD |

That would be awesome insect theme.

"We only need one minute! Ichibu Sentai Hayaiger!" (One Minute Sentai Fast-ger)
I don't have many details of the plot worked out yet, but both the Hayaigers and their enemies the Majikan (a portmanteau of majin meaning "demon" and jikan meaning "time") have the power to move at super speed for short bursts, so most of their battles only take one minute in-universe and would be shown with the rangers and monsters moving at normal speed while everything around them is in slow motion, kinda like the Clock Up gimmick in Kabuto. And the idea of one minute being all it takes to change everything could be a key theme in the story too, with the rangers and villains both trying to change the world/history/people's lives by changing one key moment. There could also be morals about making the most of the time you have and treasuring the little things instead of being consumed by regret. Maybe the Majikan come from an alternate timeline and are sustained by people's regret somehow? |
New Zenkaigers
These aren't entirely new Sentai, but are new rangers to add to Zenkaiger
First, a trio of one human and two kikainoids. Jetkaiser "Choujin Power" Sentais: Jetman, Timeranger, Kyuranger Numbers: 15, 24, 41 Colour: Green Transformation Device: Geartlinger Mk2 Extra Forms: Time, Kyuren His suit is basically a green version of Red Hawk with helmet and shoulder pads based on Jet Icarus (his colour is also a reference to the manga exclusive Sixth Ranger, "Green Eagle", which ties into the Sixth Ranger theming of the next two Zenkaigers). The "Geartlinger Mk2" is just a green Geartlinger. His Extra Forms are based on other Sentai with flying Mecha and have a space and time theming. Zenkai Gobun "Tokumei Power" Sentai: Go-Busters Number: 36 Colour: Silver Transformation Device: Geartlinger Mk2 Weapons: Gobu Horn and Gobu Pincer Mecha Form: Gobu Beet Gattai: Zenkaioh TokkyuGobun Zenkai Tokkyune "Ressha Power" Sentai: ToQger Number: 38 Colour: Orange Transformation Device: Geartlinger Mk2 Weapons: Tokkyune Light Mecha Form: Tokkyune Train Gattai: Zenkaioh TokkyuGobun Next, I imagined Red Kaiser returning with his own team of kikainoids with the same colours and themes as the Zenkaigers Zenkai Ryuson "Kishiryu Power" Sentai: Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger Number: 43 Colour: Red (He and Red Kaiser fight over who's the true Red Ranger of their team) Transformation Device: Geartlinger Weapons: Ryuson Sword Mecha Form: Ryuson Rex Gattai: Zenkaioh RyusoGin Zenkai Gingan "Seijuu Power" Sentai: Seijuu Sentai Gingaman Number: 22 Colour: Yellow Transformation Device: Geartlinger Weapon: Gingan Claw Mecha Form: Gingan Leon Gattai: Zenkaioh RyusoGin Zenkai Gosein "Tensou Power" Sentai: Tensou Sentai Goseiger Number: 34 Colour: Pink Transformation Device: Geartlinger Weapons: Gosein Reader Mecha Form: Gosein Dragon Gattai: Zenkaioh Kiragosei Zenkai Kiram "Mashin Power" Sentai: Mashin Sentai Kiramager Number: 44 Colour: Blue Transformation Device: Geartlinger Weapons: Kiram Jetter (a sword shaped like Mashin Jetter) Mecha Form: Kiram Fire Gattai: Zenkaioh Kiragosei |
Actually, I also made my own alternative Zenkaiger, which I'm calling Kiryu Sentai Zenryuger 機竜戦隊ゼンリュウジャー!

Theme/Motif: Animals, Elemental Magic, Modern Science and Technology used to access and use said magic
Team Name: 神獣戦隊ゴーカイザー (Shinjuu Sentai Go-Kaisers, lit. God Beast Sentai Go-Kaisers) Rangers: Kaiser Red, Dragon of the Burning Flames: Ryusuke Hiseya (M) Kaiser Blue, Shark of the Flowing Seas: Mizuki Samejima (F) Kaiser Black, Bison of the Trembling Earth: Daichiro Ushigome (M) Kaiser Yellow: Lion of the Roaring Thunder: Raito Shishio (M) Kaiser Pink, Eagle of the Flying Winds: Fumiko Washizaki (M) Kaiser Silver, Wolf of the Hard-Shell Metal: Dante (M) Morpher/Changer/Henshin Device: The hi-tech Kaiser Brace that utilizes the mystical Kaiser Medallions Weapons: The 6 Legendary Kaiser Weapons (these weapons were upgraded by the I.N.E.C.T when they found them to better help the Second Go-Kaisers in combat). Kaiser Red Weapon: Dragoncalibur Kaiser Blue Weapon: Shark Dagger Kaiser Black Weapon: Bison Power Axe Kaiser Yellow Weapon: Lion Gun Kaiser Pink Weapon: Eagle Blade Bow (can shoot laser arrows but is mainly used as a slashing weapon since the bow itself is bladed, think Pit's arrow from Kid Icarus & Smash Bros. but without the bow separated into two) Kaiser Silver Weapon: Wolf Bo Staff (has a trigger on the grip of the bo staff that when pulled, can turn it into its saber mode). Arsenal: Kaiser Medallions as the collectible items, medal-shaped crystals that contains the powers to control the God Beasts and use the elemental magic. 88 million years ago, willpower was enough to activate and use the medallions but in the present time, a hi-tech gadget/device must be created in order to activate such medallions as willpower isn't enough anymore to activate and use it. Evil Destruction Cannon Kaiser Buster (邪悪な破壊大砲カイザーバスター, Jaakuna hakai taihō kaizābasutā), a team finisher formed from the 5 weapons. The Eagle Blade Bow at the bottom, the Lion Gun below it as the trigger and handle/grip part, the Shark Daggers on each side (left and right) of the Eagle Blade Bow, the Bison Power Axe on top of the Eagle Blade Bow and the Dragoncalibur on top of it. The phrase used when shooting the Kaiser Buster is 邪悪な、破壊え! (Jaakuna, Hakaie!, lit. Evil, destroy!) Their second team finisher weapon, which was created and developed at I.N.E.C.T's Japan branch after Dante's arrival, is called the Super Imperium Cannon (スーパーインペリウムキャノン ). It is stronger than the Kaiser Buster. Mecha/Zords: God Beasts. In the story, each of the 6 tribe sends one warrior to be the Go-Kaisers. Each of these warriors partnered up with 3 divine animals known as the God Beasts. Note: The Go-Kaisers of this series are a descendant of the first one and are hence called the Second Go-Kaisers. The exception is Dante. Kaiser Red is a descendant of the Fire Tribe, His 3 God Beasts: Fire Dragon (main) Fire Gorilla (secondary) Fire Tiger (tertiary) Kaiser Blue is a descendant of the Water Tribe. Her 3 God Beasts: Aqua Shark (main) Aqua Dolphin (secondary) Aqua Whale (tertiary) Kaiser Black is a descendant of the Earth Tribe. His 3 God Beasts: Earth Bison (main GB), Earth Horse (secondary GB), Earth Snake (tertiary GB) Kaiser Yellow is a descendant of the Lightning Tribe. His 3 God Beasts: Thunder Lion (main) Thunder Cheetah (secondary) Thunder Porcupine (tertiary) Kaiser Pink is a descendant of the Wind Tribe. Her 3 God Beasts: Hurricane Eagle (main) Condor (secondary) Falcon (tertiary) Kaiser Silver is the student of the First Kaiser Silver and member of the Metal Tribe that was cursed by the monster (the Nether Tribe) to become a stone and was revived 88 million years later during the Nether Tribe's reawakening. His 3 God Beasts: Metal Wolf (main) Metal Rhino (secondary) Metal Elephant (tertiary) Combined Mecha/Megazords: Shinjuu Gattai Kaiser-Oh Fire Dragon forms the body Aqua Shark forms the left hand Earth Bison forms the hips and legs Thunder Lion forms the right hand Hurricane Eagle forms the back as wings. They are armed with the God Beast Imperial Sword There are two main finishers: God Beast Imperial Slash (just a normal slash) and the unique Thunder Free Kick, where Thunder Lion will shoot a ball of lightning at the monster, bounce back to Kaiser-Oh, ball stopped with its legs (Earth Bison) and is then kicked like a free kick in football/soccer at the monster as a finishing blow. Allies: I.N.E.C.T (International Network of Elite Cyberscience and Technology) is an international organization of world-renowned scientists and researchers. They help fund modern-day science researches and technological advancements. Professor David Yamaguchi & Professor Jouji Kanayama: Two of the lead scientists in I.N.E.C.T’s Japan branch, they are skilled researchers with Prof. David’s forte being biotechnology and archaeology and Prof. Jouji’s forte being computer programming and biochemistry. Prof. David is half Canadian and as such, uses English words and phrases (sometimes) when talking. Both are known for their leadership skills, research skills, expertise on the topics given and their high-level IQ, where both professors are recorded to have an IQ of 170 each. They are kind and very helpful to the new GoKaisers. They serve as the inventors of the team, who help built the Kaiser Brace that can activate the Kaiser Medallions and thus transform the 5 into the GoKaisers (the ancient magic used by the First GoKaisers to activate the Kaiser Medallions and transform cannot be used in the present day so they created a device instead that can activate the Kaiser Stones without using magic) and also upgraded their weaponry, specifically the Kaiser Weapons. They are also the ones who led the discovery of the Nether Tribe’s Sealing Tomb and witness their reawakening after 88 milliion years as well as recruit the Second Go-Kaisers to stop the Nether Tribe once and for all. Villians: Nether Tribe King Jark Neverion: The main evil guy, he is an evil king and originally a Fire Tribe warrior named Varan who saw humanity as nothing but trash that needed to be thrown away and destroyed forever. Ever since such thoughts came about in his mind, he left the Fire Tribe he once was associated with and also left earth. Soon enough he joined the Nether Tribe and rise in ranks before finally killing the first king of the Nether Tribe, King Ibru Black, who is also his new adoptive father and in the process became the next king. When he became king, he gave himself a new name: Jark Neverion, as well as a new, monster-like appearance. He is still, however, able to transform back to his original human form through willpower and vice versa. He is known for his gruesome appearance, his power-hungry personality and also his love for both his wife and daughter. His wife once tried making another baby but it did not work, so he created Shion, his artificial son, with the help of the smartest scientists of the Nether Tribe, instead. Queen Devilla Neverion: Originally a random woman from the Nether Tribe named Devilla, King Jark Neverion who is at that time still named Varan decided to fight the First King’s biological son (technically his brother) to find out who will get to marry her (Devilla). After Varan defeated and in the process killed his brother, he got to marry her and in the process, she had to add Neverion in her name (last name), due to Varan changing his name to Jark Neverion and also, due to the circumstances, her title is now Queen. She was once neutral, but after living with her husband for a while, she became an evil and demanding queen. Messenger Varibaron: A loyal supporter of the new King Jark Neverion even after how he gruesomely killed his old boss, the First King, he had high hopes for the new King ever since his first time joining the Nether Tribe. His main job is to inform of important messages and news, both to his co-workers or boss and also to the GoKaisers & co. He is skilled in various martial arts and is also an avid gun collector, having collected over 500 different types of guns. His strong liking for guns made him a rival to Kaiser Yellow. They duelled once and he lost due to his lazy nature that made him unfocused during their match. However, when serious, he can be quite hard to handle. Super Magic Beast Death Hand: A magician-themed monster with a gruesome appearance, he is skilled in both illusion magic and telekinesis. His main illusion technique, Fictional Reality, allow victims to fall into a deep sleep whereby they will start imagining and hallucinating things. This technique is very useful for tricking victims and can also follow up with an unprecedented telekinesis attack, such as his Teleki-Throw technique, where he can use telekinesis to grab an object and throw it at his opponents. Reptilian Knight Dejindra: A reptilian-themed swordsman, he is very skilled with his swordsmanship. Not only that, he is able to soit burning acid from his mouth that can burn/melt through anything, including parts of the human body and metal. The only thing that cannot be burned by the acid that he spits is his sword. Because of this, he would sometimes spit the acid on his sword before slashing opponents/victims in order to get more damage, as the slash + the burning acid are a very good combo to use against enemies. He is known to have a very greedy and lunatic behavior and personality. He has a human-like form that can be accessed through willpower. Princess Sherlina: The only child of King Jark Neverion and Queen Devilla Neverion, she is loyal to her father’s intention of destroying the world and is often known for being the “sexy-looking” one. Just like her mother, she is evil and demanding. However, she has a soft spot for Death Hand, which she claims to be her “cute pet”, even when he has a very gruesome appearance. She wields a staff that can elongate to become a whip. She has a fierce rivalry with both female GoKaisers. However, she prefers to fight the pink GoKaiser, since she is apparently more graceful when fighting, unlike the blue GoKaiser, which she claim to be a little too wild when fighting. Shion Kurogami: A creation of the Nether Tribe’s smartest scientists and King Jark Neverion himself who was created after Queen Devilla Neverion failed to give birth to a second child, which makes him a sort of artificial son that was made to be a replacement for the son that Queen Devilla did not manage to give birth to. He was pretty reluctant to be a part of the Nether Tribe’s evil plan and even changed both his name into the human name Shion Kurogami (his original name is Prince Zeronoa) and appearance to that of a human as a form of rebellion. However, he soon turned back to his father’s evil plans and was given the Spider Rogue Stone (a prototype of the Rogue Stones) that can let him transform into the assassin Metalspider. Henchmen: Nether Soldiers/Konbatters Evil Ranger 1: CopyKaisers (imitations of the original GoKaisers that is created by Death Hand’s illusion) Evil Ranger 2: 魔獣戦隊ローグファイブ (Demon Beast Sentai Rogue Five, a team of evil warriors whose powers are created from 5 Demon Beasts that serves as an antithesis to the GoKaisers. They were first created during the revive of the Nether Tribe; they were not present during the Nether Tribe’s first defeat 88 million years ago. Rogue Red (Fire): Scorpion Rogue Blue (Water): Orca Rogue Black (Earth): Bear Rogue Yellow (Lightning): Stag Beetle Rogue Pink (Wind): Crow (Karasu) Monsters: Monsters of the Week: 魔獣 (Majuu, lit. Demon Beast) MotW (humans who turns into a Demon Beast): 魔獣人間 (Majuu Ningen, lit. Demon Beast Human) |
Figured out some story about Ichibu Sentai Hayaiger:
"I wish it had been different." The Majikan are beings who never should have existed, hailing from an alternate timeline sustained by the regretful thoughts of humans. To secure a steady stream of regret and expand their domain, they use twisted technology to cross over into our timeline, and seek out people at pivotal moments in their lives. Able to distort time around them, they move so fast most victims never even see the Majikan ruining their moment to fill them with regret. Standing against them are six people who actually glimpsed the Majikan interfering, recruited by a mysterious scientist who's more closely connected to the alternate timeline than he admits (he found them by looking for anyone who claimed to have seen a fast-moving demon right before something went wrong). Having been exposed to the time distortions caused by Majikan activity, the five are able to sense other distortions, and with the scientist's technology they can transform and fight the Majikan at their own speed as the Ichibu Sentai Hayaiger! "Awake at dawn! Hayai Red!" "Sweet morning dew! Hayai Green!" "High noon showdown! Hayai Yellow!" "Dance into evening! Hayai Pink!" "Dusk brings quiet! Hayai Blue!" "Shining all night long! Hayai Silver!" "We only need one minute! Ichibu Sentai Hayaiger!" As a sixth ranger, Silver would be present in civilian form since the beginning and make his debut as a ranger fairly early, but not reliably fight alongside the others because of his messed-up sleep cycle (later revealed to be caused by his regret): during the day he may be late, get tired quickly or even nap right through a battle, but at night he can take on most Majikan by himself! They'd also be sometimes fought and sometimes aided by Daitai Red (Alternative Red), a version of Haiyai Red from the Majikan's timeline who sees both the Majikan and the Haiyaigers (or more specifically the scientist backing them) as his enemy. His roll call is "A strange new dawn! Daitai Red!" and there'd probably be a special where he leads his own team of Daitaigers. Eventually he merges with the main timeline Red which grants him his super mode, "Awaken the new dawn! Haiyai Red Lightspeed!" I'm still not sure what their mecha, equipment or collectables would be like. Probably something to do with clocks? |
I like how the six rangers' sound-offs are basically going off with different times of the day, ending with the sixth ranger and his weird internal clock. (Who, might I say, is highly relatable, lol. XD)
|
So this is a very rough concept I'm still working on, but I'm pretty attached to it, so thought I'd try to share some of what I got. So far, I got some concept art and a name.
Denchi Sentai Starman! (Battery Taskforce Starmen) or "Power Rangers: Energize!" Basically, our Sentai Squad would have a two-part transformation device: a special belt with a star belt buckle that has a socket on it. The "Star Buckle" or something. Said socket is where the ranger shoves essentially a 9-Volt Battery into it, the "Star Battery". "Energize! Change!", or something like that, is what they'd say before transforming and doing the proper roll call. Also, since green is my favorite, I'd like Green to be the team's leader. Which would be a really weird and dumb subversion purely because I like the color. "Bringing Miracles to Reality! StarGreen!" The seemingly laid back and playful member of the team. I have an idea that after 10 episodes, he'd lose an arm and would be out of the fight for a little while, maybe 3 episodes or so. He'd get a robotic prosthetic and would shove his Star Battery into his prosthetic arm, which would of course have it's own Star built onto it. Despite being so playful, he's the one who works on most of the tech stuff. "Burning Bright with Passion! StarRed!" Green's sister, a tomboy and an open pervert to men and women alike. I'd imagine that she'd blame herself for her brother's sudden condition before he returns to the fight. Is the team's muscle and the first one to jump into the fray of enemies. "Vanguards of Humanity! StarBlue!" Green's best friend. Moody and apathetic and would also be going through the grief of letting Green down. I'd imagine he'd have an episode where he'd try to have Green's energy, but it's out of character for him. I'd expect some bonding between him and Red. "Shining with Valor! StarYellow!" Suave and cool, a lady's man and a real charmer...or, at least, he thinks he is. He always fails in love, but he's a romantic. He loses a lot, but he also tries a lot. Is the type to try and hit on female monsters cause, you know, gotta shoot your shot. Might be the team's marksman. "Standing for Righteousness! StarPink!" Quiet and calm, but hates it when people misgender him as a woman. Every word he says drips with sarcasm as he matches wits with Green. Is very empathetic to the rest of the team is the one who helps them with most of their internal drama. "Raining Hope onto Despair! StarWhite!" Someone who'd hang out since episode 1 and would join as a 6th Ranger with Green's old Star Buckle and her own batteries. Red's best friend and confidant, usually telling her that, no, being a letch won't get anyone to like you. But is also super ditzy, but motherly. "Powered by Justice! Denchi Sentai Starman!" https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...Refinement.jpg I'm not super sure on the colors. I like everything save for the color of the boots' toes, the face guard, and trunks. Not sure if they should be silver or gold. And, yeah, I know trunks is more of a convention of western superheroes, but I like the aesthetic. And no idea what their enemies/monsters or mechs could be either. While typing, was thinking maybe a group of monsters that drain electricity and energy from cities/power plants, but not totally sure how they'd look. Also thought of some kind of Dinosaur theme, like a reference to fossil fuels, with maybe them having some mechanical augmentation that spits out smog or something. Finally, gave them basic designs for their side weapons. I was thinking all of their weapons could be powered by other Star Batteries maybe. Or maybe all the Rangers would have to manage their power supplies and would need to watch out so their weapons and special moves don't drain their batteries. |
That's a really neat concept! I like the designs too, very unique, they make me think of all those toku shows that aren't part of the Super Sentai franchise but are clearly sentai influenced.
Personally I think the silver accents work better than gold, although if you went with silver for the "normal" rangers then you could use gold to indicate ones who were special somehow, like only Green to show he's the leader, only Green post-return to show he's been upgraded, or only White because she's the sixth. |
Quote:
Second, haven't finished the concept art, but yeah, I think the silver accents do look better. What I'm thinking of doing is making the default uniform their base color with silver accents, but keeping the scarf gold. Then, when I do Green's upgraded form, he'll get the reverse. So everything silver will be gold with him, and his gold scarf will be silver, since he's kind of getting sixth-ranger status. I also think the 'story', if it's still in a sentai format of 50 or so episodes, will change so that Green gets taken out in episode one and basically becomes a remote leader, with Red acting as field leader, and White becoming the 5th member of the team after. I guess the first episode would be a two-parter to explain all the lore and stuff and fast forward, say, 10-20 episodes, Green comes in as a 6th ranger with a new prosthetic. |
Kōfun Sentai Sportranger
Kōfun Sentai Sportranger (Kōfun = Excitement)
Theme/Motif: Sports Centuries ago, a group of demons called the Demetsu rose from deep within the earth to attack humanity as a test to determine if humanity was strong enough to be the earth's dominant species. The Demetsu were fought back by a powerful warrior named Takahashi, but swore they'd return every 50 years to test humanity. Takahashi dedicated his life to fighting these monsters and passed the duty to his descendants. In modern day, the Demetsu are soon to return and the responsibility of fighting them has fallen to Yanagi Takahashi, the CEO of the sporting goods company Ace Athletics. Unfortunately, Yanagi has never been physically gifted and so has decided to recruit three athletes to fight the Demetsu in his stead, equipped with technology and weapons he created as the Kōfun Sentai Sportranger. The Team Koichi Matsuno "Fiery Home Run! Red Batter!" Mamoru Ikaruga "Sonic Kick! Blue Striker" Megumi Tsugami "Tornado Swing! Yellow Serve!" The Demetsu (Demon + Metsu, the Japanese word for destruction) generals are designed after earth materials and extinct animals: Tyrock (Tyrannosaurus + Rock) Tigiron (Sabre-toothed Tiger + Iron) Dactoil (Pterodactyl + Oil) Tricoal (Triceratops + Coal) One of the Sportrangers allies is Hiroyuki Hino, a famous boxer who retired early because of a career ending injury. He acts as a mentor to the team before Yanagi helps him recover fully and convinces him to join the team as the "Full Power Punch! White Boxer!" Despite the Sportrangers successes, Yanagi starts to doubt their efficiency and becomes worried about them getting hurt or dying because he asked them to fight the Demetsu instead of him. Because of this, and him thinking that humans have only ever stalled the Demetsu rather than defeated them, he disbands the team and replaces them with a pair of* motorsports-themed robot rangers: the Storm Engines Auto "Thunder Engine! Gold Racer!" Moto "Lightning Engine! Silver Biker!" The Sportrangers of course refuse to give up and continue fighting, saying that humans have to defeat the Demetsu or else the centuries of fighting that Yanagi's ancestors did will be for nothing. The indomitable human spirit connects to the Storm Engines, inspiring them to fight alongside the Sportrangers and convinces Yanagi to give the Rangers their powers back. Changer Device: Ball Changer, Glove Changer, Engine Changer Side Arms: Fencing Épée, Shooter Pistol Arsenal: Hockey Armour Mecha: Batter Robo, Striker Robo, Serve Robo, Boxer Robo, Thunder Racer, Lightning Biker Combined Mecha: Sport Kaiser (Striker Robo becomes the legs, Batter Robo and Serve Robo form the torso and arms, equipping it with a bat for a weapon and a racquet for a shield) Boxer Kaiser (Boxer Robo combines with Sport Kaiser, becoming armour, boxing gloves and a new face) Engine Kaiser (Thunder Racer becomes the main body and legs, Lightning Biker becomes the arms and head) Allies: Yanagi Takahashi Villians: Demetsu Monsters: Clay-Metsu (Monsters of the Week), Fossildier (Foot Soldiers) |
Hey Joedragon, why you don't put more details of Go-Braver here ?

Chikyuu Senshitai Go-Braver (地球戦士隊ゴーブレイバー, lit. Earth Warrior Corps Go-Braver)
Synopsis: In the year 2036, earth was living peacefully and happily. However, through the means of the Chaos Radar System that was developed by the Japanese military, a source of evil known as the Radical Annihilation Life Form was detected. The source of evil aforementioned turned out to be the Galactic Eradication Empire Nevalion (銀河全滅帝国ネバリオン, Ginga Zenmetsu Teikoku Nevalion) who has come to invade earth. Knowing its dangers, the Japanese military founded the Scientific Elite Earth Defenders SEED to stop Nevalion. Canmayara is a female alien from Planet Luvitanius, a planet that has been completely eradicated by Nevalion. She is Luvitanius’ only survivor and had reached earth through a space pod. With her help, SEED created the Brave weapons system in hopes that they can defeat Nevalion and ultimately stop their plan from ever invading and eradicating Earth. The Brave weapons system utilizes the Brave Spirits, a powerful energy within humans that only a select few could access. 5 of SEED’s soldiers are tasked to use the Brave weapons system and transform into the Go-Bravers to complete SEED’s mission of stopping Nevalion. Rangers: Kenji Akayama (赤山剣司): Red Braver Akayama used to be a kendo practitioner until he quit out of boredom and him being slightly injured at that time. While he has recovered since, he still chose not to go back to the world of kendo and instead joined SEED due to his love for this beautiful world and how he wants to really protect it from evil. He has a strong sense of justice and leadership, making him a very good leader. He learned how to shoot guns properly from Midorikawa but still prefers his sword. Using the Brave Changer, he transforms into Red Braver. Although he is an kendo player and is fond of samurai movies, his favorite movie is Top Gun. Hence, his mecha is the Red Braver Jet. Kaito Aoki (青木海斗): Blue Braver Aoki is a former professional swimmer who was supposed to join the Olympics but was suddenly replaced by his longtime friend due to some unknown circumstances. This made him leave professional swimming and it is now just a hobby. He joined SEED for fun since his other friend (who he befriended during college), Kijima, also joined. His weapon of choice is the twin daggers. Using the Brave Changer, he transforms into Blue Braver. Because he is a prolific swimmer, his mecha is the Blue Braver Battleship (swimming, navy army? Close enough). Unlike most submarines, Junsuke Kijima (黄島潤介): Yellow Braver Kijima was just some dude who runs a gym when he heard about SEED. He quickly became interested as he has shown his love for this world like Akayama and wanted to make sure no evil aliens will touch it. He lets his sister, Mayu (真由) run the gym for him. His preferred weapon of choice is the hammers, something he likens with “lifting weights but the weights are in one side only”. Using the Brave Changer, he transforms into Yellow Braver. Because he is very strong, his mecha is the Yellow Braver Drill Tank (tanks are very strong). It has two drills on the tank. Ryo Midorikawa (緑川陵): Green Braver He is one of two members of the Go-Bravers that have experience in actual military combat, the other being Momota. He was a part of the Japanese army until he got called to join SEED. His preferred weapon of choice is the gun. He has extremely good vision and aim. Using the Brave Changer, he transforms into Green Braver. Because he used to drive a tank during his military days, his mecha is the Green Braver Tank. Yumiko Momota (桃田弓子): Pink Braver She is a “by the book” tomboyish girl who was also in the same team as Ryo back then in the army. They were both called together. Like her name Yumiko (弓子) which means arrow child, she is also an expert archer and has nice aim. Her preferred weapon of choice is the bow & arrow. Using the Brave Changer, she transforms into Pink Braver. Because she used to pilot a helicopter during her military days, her mecha is the Pink Braver Heli. Transformation Item: Brave Changers. They are kind of similar to Liveman’s Twin Brace in that it is a two-piece bracelet with (at least what I imagine to be) a similar transformation pose. However, unlike the Twin Brace, the right piece (Brave Commander) is also used as a commander to call out the mechas or to communicate with one another whereas the left piece (Brave Shiner) is mostly used only for transporting the weapons. It also has a sort of lamp thingy that shines when transforming. Roll Call: Full Name + Ranger Name Go-Bravers announcing their arrival: 俺たちは平和の保護者、正義のシンボル、悪の破壊者!地球戦士隊ゴーブレイバー! (Oretachi wa heiwa no hogo-sha, seigi no shinboru, aku no hakaisha! Chikyū senshi-tai gōbureibā!, lit. We are the guardians of peace, the symbols of justice, the destroyers of evil! Earth Warrior Corps Go-Braver!) Team Cannon: Brave Bazooka The Brave Bazooka is a very alpha bazooka developed by Commander Yamada and his team as a means of defeating Nevalion. Combined Mecha: Brave King Robo Yellow Braver Drill Tank becomes the leg and feet of the Robo, Blue Braver Battleship becomes the body of the Robo, Green Braver Tank becomes the back of the Robo, with the gun part of the tank (idk the name but you get my point) then moved to the left shoulder of the Robo as a sort of bazooka, Red Braver Jet becomes the head of the Robo, the left hand of the Robo pops out from Blue Braver Battleship and attaches the Pink Braver Heli on it, with the copter thingy turning into a shield, and the right hand of the Robo pops out of the Blue Braver Battleship, holding the Brave King Sword that is transported by the SEED Base similar to the Go-Buster Oh’s Sword in Go-Busters. Allies: Canmayara: She is an alien from planet Luvitanius who witnessed first hand the planets destruction at the hands of Nevalion. She was sent to earth using a space pod and reached earth. She soon joined SEED as an ally and aide, occasionally giving the team some insights. Commander Yamada: He is the commander of the SEED team. Due to his physical condition and slightly old age, he cannot participate as a ranger or soldier but can lead the SEED team (which consists of many people not just the rangers) and command them to do stuff since he is knowledgeable about it. He is a master tactician. Go-Braver base: SEED Base Galactic Eradication Empire Nevalion King Drathmok: He is the commander of Nevalion and is a dragon and octopus hybrid. He came from a different universe altogether (just like the rest of Nevalion) and wanted to eradicate every galaxy in our universe so that his could thrive. He is also very crazy and is openly very perverted towards women, even when he is married to his wife Queen Nafgalla. Queen Nafgalla: She is the wife of Drathmok and mother of Lakmos. She is very psychopatic and likes to torture her enemies. She even orders the torture of thos who try to betray Nevalion. Lakmos of the Waters: He is the son of Drathmok and is just as evil as he is. He has a very big respect for his father. He is very calm and collected. He represents the element of water and is the creator of the Water Element Neverbeasts. Using Nevalion magic, he can transform into a ranger-like form known as Piscion (the name Piscion derives from the zodiac pisces which is the fish that obviously lives in the waters). Daht Malakai of the Land: He is the loyal servant of King Drathmok and thus serves as the messenger for Nevalion. Unlike Lakmos, he is very moody sometimes and is easily angry. He represents the element of land/ground (or earth) and is the creator of the Land Element Neverbeasts. Using Nevalion magic, he can transform into a ranger-like form known as Grounderion (the name Grounderion derives from the English word ground). Zebast Virgan of the Air: He is an assassin for hire that works for Nevalion. He is friends with Lakmos. Just like Lakmos, he is very calm and collected. However, he can be very cocky at times. He represents the element of air/wind and is the creator of the Air Element Neverbeast. Using Nevalion magic, he can transfrom into a ranger-like form known as Spirarerion (the name Spirarerion derives from the Italian word spirare which means to breathe or to blow and in turn derives from the Latin spiro which means to breathe). Monsters of the Week: Neverbeasts. They are either land-themed, air-themed or water-themed. Some are based on animals while others are completely original. Footsoldiers: Zombaliens (a portmanteau of the word zombie and aliens) Nevalion Base: Nevalion Imperial Palace |

Journey to the West theme I had come up with. No title because I can't think of one :lol
Red Soul: Son Goku! Son Goku, better known as Sun Wukong, the arrogant monkey king! Banished from the heavens, in order to be allowed to return, he is forced to aide a priestess in her tasks to deliver a sacred scroll. He must learn not only how to be a true king and leader, but must also learn humility and sacrifice! Technically a god, he feels his mission is beneath him, putting him at odds with his fellow members as well as the humans, but his cold exterior breaks, eventually. His love for a good fight also tends to create issues. He is armed with the Ruyi Jingu Bang, a magical staff that can change length and sizes. Thanks to his magical powers, he can also create a copy of himself, or become his own mecha. The arrogant king seeking atonement, RED SOUL White Soul: Taka The only woman of the group, Taka, short for Tripitaka, is a priestess who seeks to not only grow as a person, but to strengthen her bond with the heavens. Tasked with protecting a sacred scroll, she is sent Goku as a protector to ensure her mission as well as path to enlightenment are completed. She is also the only one who is able to control Goku, with a magic band around his head restraining him upon her request. She primarily uses martial arts, however, in a pinch, she also has a sidearm that can convert between a gun and sword, though she prefers to not use it unless necessary. The solemn priestess who walks the path of heaven. White Soul! Her mecha is actually another member! Yulong, the Dragon Prince! A destructive and affluent prince with little regard for those around him. Punished by the heavens, he is transformed from his dragon form into that of the steed in which Taka rides. Though her magic, he can also become her personal mecha. Yulong and Goku can combine to form the primary robot. As a bit of a midseason upgrade, Yulong can temporarily become his dragon form, which can be it's own mech or once again, combine with Goku. The dishonorable prince who shall better the world. Yulong! Pink Soul: Baji A greedy, gluttonous, and perverted pig man, Baji is all around awful. But not really. His vices make him difficult to stomach, but he's not the monster he seems. After a chance encounter with Taka and Goku, he proves he's not just defined by his sins and shows signs of light. He is given a chance at redemption, and the power to morph. Although he is half pig, he can change his appearance to that of a normal man for a little bit each day. Derogatorily called "Pig" by Goku. His mecha is a gift from the heavens, and not magically connected to him (Thus can be called on and controlled by other members of the team should they need be). A boar tank, which is exactly as described. A tank with a boar head style design at the front. The tank turret can detach when forming combinations. Forms the left leg. The vice driven one who looks to give back. Pink Soul! Blue Soul: Sandy The last member to join the group, Sandy is an immortal that looks like a monster, a deformity caused by a curse due to an accident he caused. Although it was only an accident, he took his anger out on hapless humans hundreds of years ago. He has since calmed, but the tales of the monster that resides by the lake remain, causing him to become a recluse. He joins so he can properly atone for his outbursts however many years back, and possibly even look normal once again. Thanks to his age, he is level headed and mature, though very self conscious and keeps to himself. Due to his monstrous appearance, he keeps his face hidden at all times. He tends to act as a mentor figure, offering advice to Taka, helping train with Goku, and helping keep Baji's perversions at bay. He makes use of water magic as well as strong martial arts. His mecha is turtle themed, with bladed fins (Like Baji's, it's a gift from the heavens, and not magically connected to him). It forms the right leg. The shell can detach and become a shield, and unfold to become a buster sword as well. The monster who shall right his wrongs. Blue Soul! Green Soul: Erlang Shen A warrior of the heavens, he, like Goku, is a god himself. However, he is far more willing to step foot on the earths and protect those who live here. He initially comes down of his own agenda as he feels Goku's punishment is too lenient, and tries to strike him down. However, throughout numerous events, he comes to view Goku as a rival, and the rest of the team as true friends. Eventually, he forms a bond with Taka to help her achieve godhood. He is head strong and independent, willing to defy orders from other gods as he is more willing to put his friends and earth ahead of their agenda. He fights with a three pointed spear, which also doubles as his transformation device. Seen as the greatest warrior god of heaven, he is more than a match for Goku, which in turn helps Goku become a greater warrior once they go from enemies to rivals and allies. Due to his status, even after he is allied with the team, he is occasionally pitted against them due to the gods' agenda. His mecha is a small statue of himself that also wields a spear, as well as a black horse (Identical to Yulong, except black), and an attack dog, which can combine into his own full robot. The Warrior of the Heavens! The One Man Army! Green Soul! Much like the original story, redemption is a large part of the story. The heroes are abrasive and less than honorable, but their journey, trials, and tribulations are to prove that you don't have to be a saint to be a hero. Their main enemies are demons, however, after Erlang gets involved, we start to see the cracks form in the gods' methods as well. Taka's key goal is to protect and deliver a scroll, though eventually Erlang attempts to gain her godhood by her performing numerous actions and miracles. Their mecha system is relatively straight forward. Goku can operate as his own robot a la GoBuster Ace. He can also combine with Yulong. That combination can be further enhanced by having the boar tank and turtle ship combine to form new legs as well. Currently the only other two robots I've thought of were Yulong's dragon mode, which can basically be either it's own mech, or substitute the horse pieces for the dragon pieces (Since the horse and the dragon are the same person, so it wouldn't make sense that both would be present). Erlang's robot is a 3 piece combo that makes use of the same horse body type, so multi combos to be had? I dunno. Character names were chosen from a variety of translations. Son Goku is the Japanese reading of Sun Wukong's name. Taka's name is based on Tripitaka, the English renaming of the monk Tang Sanzang. I also chose to go the Dragon Ball and Enslaved route of having the character be a female so to not be a total sausage fest. Baji's name is a corruption of his original name, Zhu Bajie, while Sandy is the English version of Sha Wujing. Yulong and Erlang Shen's names remain unchanged. |

Honestly I have been thinking about some kind of super sentai thats like a mix of go-busters and gingaman. so it would have the hi-tech theme of go-busters but the mystical and elemental + animals theme of gingaman. would be very cool to see executed. perhaps it could be about using modern day technology to revive ancient, mystical powers and save the world from some kind of reawakened evil alien monsters that had been sealed years ago

神獣戦隊ゴーカイザー (Shinjuu Sentai Go-Kaiser, lit. God Beast Sentai Go-Kaiser)
Story Background: About 88 million years ago, 6 tribes (the Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Wind and Metal Tribe) lived happily ever after. However, it was not long before the Nether Tribe from outerspace come to wreak havoc on earth. These 6 tribes sent their representatives, the Kaiser of the tribes, to preserve peace and protect the planet. Using each their own Kaiser Medallions to manipulate their respective elemental abilities and control animals known as the God Beasts, as well as using the legendary Kaiser Weapons, they managed to halt the Nether Tribe’s evil plans of ruling over planet earth and was sealed in an unnamed place. Present time Story: In the present time, the unnamed place that sealed and confined the Nether Tribe has been discovered by the I.N.E.C.T. and they were researching about it on-site. Suddenly, a dark, smoky aura can be felt around the tomb and the Nether Tribe’s evil warriors was released from their slumber. They managed to cause chaos and wreak havoc again, stating that they must plot revenge against humanity for stopping them from destroying the planet ages ago. In this research, the lead scientists are the Japanese-Canadian biotechnology and archaeology Professor David Yamaguchi and his partner, computer programmer + biochemistry Professor Jouji Kanayama. Not knowing what to do, the two professors were in despair until they found out what had truly happened 88 million years ago: the battle between the original GoKaisers along with their God Beasts and the Nether Tribe. From there they found out that only the GoKaisers can stand a chance against the Nether Tribe. They found the Kaiser Medallions that activated the elemental powers of the Go-Kaisers and helped controlling the God Beasts. But somehow, the Kaiser Medallions cannot work on its own. It turns out that there needed to be some kind of technology that is capable of sustaining the Kaiser Medallions and actually activating it in order to use its true powers to the fullest extent. This is because of the change in atmosphere, where pure willpower (like in 88 million years ago) won’t be enough to activate the Kaiser Medallions. Because of it, they created a hi-tech bracelet that can activate the mystical powers within the Kaiser Medallions. This bracelet is called the Kaiser Brace. Besides that, the legendary Kaiser Weapons that the First Go-Kaisers had fought with were discovered in an unnamed temple just right beside the Sealing Tomb of the Nether Tribes. They managed to uncover it and by using modern science and technology, they managed to upgrade the weapons into a modern form that is stronger and better than the original ones. Now, all they need to do in order to stop the Nether Tribe is to find those who are suitable of taking up the mantle of the First Go-Kaisers and fight for justice in order to protect the world from the Nether Tribe’s re-awakening. The I.N.E.C.T scientists dug deeper and got their hands on the information regarding the aftermath of the war. The information stated that in case the Nether Tribe were to awaken themselves (or in this case be awakened by someone else on accident) and once again wreak havoc on planet Earth, they need to find the successor of the First GoKaisers, which in this case are their descendants. After finding more information, they found out who the descendants were and secretly handed out the Kaiser Medallions to each respective descendants to scout/recruit them to be the Second Go-Kaisers. However, there seems to be no living descendant of the Metal Tribe so they have to make do with 5 Go-Kaiser members for now. Long story short, each of the 5 descendants of the Go-Kaiser manage to obtain the Kaiser Medallions that has been handed to them in secret. As the Kaiser Medallions glow, they were led to I.N.E.C.T’s base and there, Professor David Yamaguchi and Jouji Kanayama explained everything that is going them. Now, these 5 adults must take up the mantle of their descendants and transform into the Second Go-Kaisers using the mystical powers of the Kaiser Medallions + modern technology and fight against the re-awakened Nether Tribe with the legendary Kaiser Weapons alongside the God Beasts in order to ensure peace on earth. Ryusuke Hiseya/火瀬谷龍介: Dragon of the Burning Flames, Kaiser Red (portrayed by: Kyosei Kuwahata) Ryusuke is a hot-headed fireman who is actually a descendant of the Fire Tribe. He was chosen by the Red Kaiser Medallion to represent the Dragon God Beast and also the Fire Tribe (fire element), becoming the Second Kaiser Red. When he first met the two main I.N.E.C.T professors, he was instantly intrigued. He is somewhat cocky but is notably strong-willed and very kind towards other people, something which are attributed to his huge sense of justice (hende his previous job as a fireman saving people’s lives). His father, Shuichiro Hiseya, was a fireman just like him but died a year ago due to an unnamed disease. Unlike the rest of his teammates, his first name contains the kanji for his main God Beast in Japanese and his last name the kanji for his element, not vice versa. His weapon is the Dragoncalibur, a saber-like sword whose hilt resembles a dragon’s head (the guard part) and its body (the grip part). Besides the Dragon God Beast, he also obtained the Kaiser Medallions of both the Gorilla and Tiger God Beasts, being able to use them to form more mecha combinations. His God Beasts form the main body of the mechas. Relationship with others: He is close with Raito, the only known relationship between any core team member to have began before the start of the series. In this case, they attended high school together and was known as the class clowns before they graduated high school and part ways. He has yet to have a relationship of any sorts with the other core team members and as such knew them to be strangers. This is the same for everyone else except Raito, who as mentioned before were already close friends with Ryusuke prior to the start of the series. As the series progresses on, he began to become closer with his teammmates and cherished the relationship he grew while still being a GoKaiser. He seems to have no sort of respect to his mentors, Professor David Yamaguchi and Jouji Kanayama of I.N.E.C.T, calling them with the less polite term お前 (omae, lit. you, in a less polite and disrespectful way) instead of using a more polite term to call them (especially knowing that they are older than him and thus his senior/elder). He seems to have a crush on Fumiko, someone he has actually met before. However, there is no sort of relationship going on at that time and because of it, it does not count as a relationship that began prior to the start of the series. Mizuki Samejima/鮫島水木: Shark of the Flowing Seas, Kaiser Blue (portrayed by: Hiroe Igeta) Mizuki is a professional swimmer who is currently taking a break from swimming to study Marine Biology at university. She is smart and logical but can be a little “crazy” at times. As such, she is notable for being the less graceful of the two females on the team. She is also a descendant of the Water Tribe and had been chosen by the Blue Kaiser Medallion to represent the Shark God Beast and the Water Tribe (water element), becoming the Second Kaiser Blue. Her first name contains the kanji for water and her last name the kanji for shark. Her weapon is the Shark Fin Dagger, a dagger resembling a shark’s fin. It’s hilt (guard part) is modeled after a shark’s head. Besides the Shark God Beast, she also obtained the Kaiser Medallions of both the Whale and Dolphin God Beasts, bring able to use them in order to form more mecha combinations. Her God Beasts forms the right arm of the mechas. Relationship with others: As she is the sole female member along with Fumiko, they are close to each other. However, Fumiko can be sometimes irritated by her hotheaded and “crazy” attitude. She also gets along with her male teammates but can sometimes be irritated by Raito’s goofy attitude. Daichiro Ushigome/牛込大地郎: Bison of the Trembling Earth, Kaiser Black (portrayed by Daichi Yamaguchi) Daichiro is a national Judo champion who is currently helping his brother with his small shop at a mall. He is known for his level-headed, calm and serious demeanor alongside his physical strength attributed to his time as a Judo champion. He can speak English to some degree as he is also dating an American woman. Not only that, his Judo victories has been covered on national television. He failed to win an internationak tournament after he was defeates by an unnamed French rival. He is also a descendant of the Earth Tribe and had been chosen by the Black Kaiser Medallion to represent the Bison God Beast and the Earth Tribe (earth/land element), becoming the second Kaiser Black. At first he declined this offer because he was disinterested. However, after realizing that the Nether Tribe really meant it when they say that they want revenge on humanity, he changed his mind and agreed to being a GoKaiser, stating that he now understood the gravity of the situation and wants to protect peace on earth. His first name contains the kanji for earth/ground and his last name the kanji for cow/bison/bull. His weapon is the Bison Power Axe, an axe resembling a bison’s horns. Besides the Bison God Beast, he also obtained the Kaiser Medallions of both the Horse and Snake God Beasts, being able to use them to form more mecha combinations. His God Beasts form the left leg of the mechas. Relationships with others: He has great relationship with his teammates but can be strict sometimes to remind them that their main important mission is to save earth. He is often reminded by Ryusuke to never give up and do his best in everything he does. Raito Shishio/獅子王ライト: Lion of the Roaring Thunder, Kaiser Yellow (portrayed by Shouma Kai) Raito is a university student studying electrical engineering at and enjoys football/soccer. He is goofy at times and has a quick feet from playing football. He is also a descendant of the Lightning Tribe and had been chosen by the Yellow Kaiser Medallion to represent the Lion God Beast and the Lightning Tribe (lightning element), becoming the second Kaiser Yellow. His first name derives from the Japanese word ライトニング which means lightning and his last name contains the kanji for lion. His weapon is the Lion Supergun, a powerful gun whose muzzle resembles a male lion’s head with its mane. Besides the Lion God Beast, he also obtained the Kaiser Medallions of both the Cheetah and Porcupine God Beasts, being able to use them to form more mecha combinations. His God Beasts form the right leg of the mechas. Relationship with others: Since he is known for his goofy personality, he is loved by most of his teammates for being funny. However, he can sometimes be the type of guy to try being goofy in a very serious situation in which case his teammates will not like it. Mizuki, on a more serious level, dislikes/is irritated by his goofy and “trying to be funny” personality, preferring it when he is more serious. Fumiko Washizaki/鷲崎風美子: Eagle of the Flying Winds, Kaiser Pink (portrayed by Asuka Kawazu) Fumiko is trained in the fictional martial arts of the Washizaki Wind-Style Kung Fu (a style of kung fu her ancestors created and developed about hundreds of years ago) and is an expert archer. She is very kind and also respectful even towards her enemies, making her the more graceful of the two female GoKaisers, something that might have stemmed from her discipline as a martial artist trained in the Washizaki Wind-Style Kung Fu. She is also a descendant of the Wind Tribe and had been chosen by the Pink Kaiser Medallion to represent the Eagle God Beast and the Wind Tribe (wind element). Her first name contains the kanji for wind and her last name the kanji for eagle. Her weapon is the Eagle Bladed Bow, a bladed bow-like weapon resembling an eagle’s wings. It can shoot laser arrows but is mainly used as a slashing weapon. Besides the Eagle God Beast, she also obtained the Kaiser Medallions of both the Hawk and Falcon God Beasts, being able to use them to form more mecha combinations. Her God Beasts form the left arm of the mechas. Relationship with others: Because Mizuki is the only other female in the core team, they are really close to each other. However, Mizuki’s “crazy” attitude can be irritating to her as she was taught by her parents to be a graceful woman, something that she thinks Mizuki isn’t. She is kind towards others and is quite receptive towards Ryusuke’s liking of her. They get along very well. Transformation Item: Kaiser Brace. It is a hi-tech bracelet created by I.N.E.C.T’s Professor David Yamaguchi and Jouji Kanayama which is able to sustain the powers of the Kaiser Medallions, which are the collectibles of the series. The Kaiser Medallions are the main source of the ancient/First Go-Kaisers and the modern-day/Second Go-Kaisers utilized the Kaiser Brace to activate said medallions. Legendary Kaiser Weapons: The Dragoncalibur, The Shark Fin Dagger, Bison Power Axe, Lion Supergun and the Eagle Bladed Bow. |
Sixth Ranger idea:
Dante/ダンテ: Wolf of the Heavy-shell Metal, Kaiser Silver (portrayed by Keisuke Watanabe) Dante is a lone warrior from the First GoKaiser’s era who once was a student of the original Kaiser Silver and had trained under him. He, unlike the rest of the 6 tribes didn’t die normally since he was cursed to be encased inside a statue forever. Sometime during the middle of the battle between the Second GoKaisers and the re-awakened Nether Tribe, he awakened due to a disturbance in the atmosphere but was first deceived by Death Hand, who made him believe that he was a soldier of the Nether Tribe. He was deceived due to his memory loss that he suffer after being awakened from his slumber. However, sometime after a battle with the GoKaisers, he broke free from Death Hand’s illusion and decided to join the GoKaisers instead. He is a mysterious person from the Metal Tribe who was chosen by the Silver Kaiser Medallion to represent the Wolf God Beast and the Metal Tribe (metal element), becoming the second Kaiser Silver, a title once held by his former master. With the Silver Kaiser Medallion in his hands now, he vows to destroy every last bit of the Nether Tribe and ensure peace on earth while taking the role of his master from 88 million years ago, something he started to gradually remember after his memory loss. His weapon is the Wolf Staff, a long, bo staff-like weapon whose hilt (the guard part) resembles a wolf’s head. The trigger on the grip part of the hilt can be pulled to transform the bo staff into its sword mode. Besides the Wolf God Beast, he also obtained the Rhinoceros and Elephant God Beasts, being able to use the three God Beasts to form his own mecha. |
Hey Joedragon72 you could make mechas based in some Super Robots for your military-themed Sentai.

Hey, guys!
I just woke up and I had this dream about this super sentai. I'm a Brazilian who lived his childhood and teens in the 80's and Brazilians such as me grew up watching Tokusatsu like Lion man, Changeman, Jaspion, Metalder, Specterman, Flashman, Maskman, Jiraiya, and many others. Well, just an introduction, lol. So, this dream I just had. There was no oficial name for the group. In the beginning there was only this guy traveling around the world, searching for the other 4. He would eventually find trouble the transform into a red eagle ranger and fight. Sometimes he'd find someone with the will to fight and he'd bestow them with the power to change. So, let's say a girl got it and transformed into a white lorry ranger. Different colour and different theme. So it was ok. He'd go on to convince her to travel with him to look for the others. Sometimes they'd find someone who would transform into a same colour or same theme ranger (bird/animal/vehicle - red/white) so, although they could fight together and be victorious, the red ranger knew that one wasn't part of the group, so they would part ways and move on. That would repeat until another ranger with a different colour and theme appeared, and sometimes they would, but sometimes they either didn't want to be part of the group or they didn't feel right. Then, one day the red one and the other three had to fight a big fight and there was this person helping people, there was chaos, and the red guy gives this person the chance to fight and [s]he accepts it, but when [s]he transforms, it's another red, a different theme. And although that surely was a mistake, the new one got the special morphing device (a bracelet) that gives everybody their powers. They fight, they lose and the 1st red ranger starts to doubt himself. Maybe he's not the leader at all. They go on all 5, 2 reds (eagle and a crystal), a white lorry, a green dinosaur and a purple grasshopper, looking for more of them, because if he wasn't the leader, maybe there shouldn't be only 5 also. They find 2 more, an orange sunflower and a black stone golem. And when they're have to fight the big boss all their morphers change, they all get different ones (no guns, I HATE morpher guns), and when they transform, the 1st red is now blue, he has found his role and they fight as a super sentai group for the first time. And only then their vehicles/robots appear. Yeah, it was that complex of a dream and I tend to write them down when I remember them. LoL! Oh, The name, I don't remember. What I remember is that every time they'd roll call they'd say a different name. :) |
Kyu Ranger
Shattered Grid special Since there are 9 Ranger spots and 9 Sailor Guardians this would work. The Sailor Guardians are the ones who power up to battle Drakken when he wipes out the Morphing Grid and to restore it the team has to stop Drakken before the Grid can be fixed. The catch is that they can only do what the Super Mega Force Rangers did and use Legendary power mode and unlike last time in Gokai / Super Mega Force the powers last longer This would build on the Shattered Grid story. There are 49 teams to date. The team starts in 1975 to hunt down Drakken. |
