I absolutely agree. MegaBeast Empire's version is better, because they have the skill and knowledge available to put more work into it, whereas I'm just transcribing subtitles from 30+ years ago off of a decayed VHS transfer.
I've taken this on as a personal project just so the show is easier for people to watch, and so I can get a little experience with timing. I'm also making some small changes to some of the lines, to help them make more sense and add some consistency. As always, I'm glad to see that people are hearing about my project, and I hope people that choose to watch it enjoy it. Just remember to replace them with MBE's episodes later, because I really think that Battle Fever J is a show worth watching multiple times. Quote:

Whatever if Megabeastempire work on Battle Fever J are better or not, you are taking some of your free time to do what you really want to do and taking it as a personal project which I really are delighted for:)
But welcome on board to Tokunations anywayXD Maybe when you are finished with Battle Fever J, you can help some subgroup with some timing work:D |
What people need to understand from the perspective of us fan subbers is that this is about dedication. We're not looking for attention or notoriety and our biggest reward is that people enjoy the fruits of our labor as much as we do, being able to finally connect with these stories where it all began.
That being said, we would never just swoop in and start working on something that someone else is doing, because we wouldn't like it if someone came in and started doing Goranger or anything else we are doing. Goranger is a long series, and then JAKQ is next for us, and those alone will take several months to wrap up. At that point, who knows? Megabeast may have Battle Fever J locked up solid by then. If they do, we will go onto the next one. If they abandon it part way, we will do the series. When there is nothing else to sub, we will sit back and catch up on 40 years of great television. |
Speaking of Megabeastempire, they had for some time ago released the only Goranger Movie who is not a movie version from some episodes from the show.
The sub groups recently are really on a Goranger feverXD Check it out: http://megabeastempire.wordpress.com...15-and-a-film/ |

HOORAY! A sub group going to tackle not one but two of the shows that have barely been touched by the fansubbing community at last! >Sees that it'll be after they finish Goseiger Oh joy, we just have to wait for them to finish a show that has subs readily available. |
Honestly I'm excited to see a group other than TVN tackle my favourite sentai.
|
Oh man, so excited for Ohranger :D

Got them all sitting on my harddrive and might actually get to them this weekend. |
A group called Shooting Star did episode 1 of Gingaman. It looks like they'll stop with that episode, since MFC is working on it.

That was a shame that the new group dropped their first project...:(

Looking forward to the two-parter next week of Abaranger!
Thanks Imagination station for your work:) |

Posted by liquidmetalrob Thanks for the link. It's great to see Changeman hasn't been forgotten. Can anyone confirm that GUIS is still planning to do something with Changeman? Virushopper: Yes. I'm working on them right now. We are going to use BunnyHats DVD-rips for this release. And we are doing the missing the episodes as well. I'm sure you notice you are missing subs for two episodes. |

I finished watching Kuuga on YouTube and I'm gonna be honest but the people who subbed the more later episodes of it was totally horrible!!

Overtime has put out Timeranger #17 now.
|
That is really funny, I asked them about timeranger yesterday and suddenly they released a episodeXD
I am really hoping the releases are going a little faster, the time between each release of Timeranger remind me of TV-N´s backburner projects:) |
Does anybody know about this???
http://www.tokusatsus.com.br/ I found this by coincidence over at nyaa:) Are it just Portuguese subs of tokusatsu show because I found a pack who got all turboranger and some others super sentai series who never got subbed in english? |
Abaranger 22-23 is out. ^_^
