Legend Mobirate sounds
Has anyone got theirs yet? I've been playing around with it today and have noticed that a lot of the sounds on the original mobirate don't seem to be under the same codes (since they just seem to make the message tone) that are listed on the web. Anyone noticed any special ones of note other than 0000 to 0036?
Legend Mobirate is said to contain 48 key combo and they are below: 0000 - Sentai Encyclopedia! Insert ranger key to hear a tidbit about the team associated with the key. 0001 – 0036 Individual Team Callout 0101 – Happy New Year 0203 – Setsubun: Beginning of Spring 0214 – Valentine's Day: In Japan, women give chocolates to men 0314 – White Day: Men give chocolates to women 0414 – 36 Sentai Callout 0505 – Children's day 0707 – Tanabata: Star Festival 1031 – Happy Halloween 1115 – Shichigosan: 7-5-3, A festival for children 1224 – Christmas Eve 1225 – Merry Christmas 1231 – New Year's Eve |
Still waiting for shipment on mine, I imagine we'll have a full list up relativly soon on a Japanese web site.

As I find more, I'll be adding to the first post

Anyone know the code for the ringtone? Or is that not a code(I never got the original Mobirates)? That's what I'm most curious about.
|
I just got mine in (thanks ST!). The extra sounds really make this thing worth upgrading to. And having an Aka Red ranger key is very satisfying. Im trying to figure out some of the new codes as well andand as I do ill also try to update here.
|
0001-0036 are the Sentai teams just like in the regular Mobirates.

Just in case people want to see the physical differences between the 2 versions of the Mobirates here's a brief picture comparison. The big difference is that the silver and gold paint on the original is inverted on the Legends release and the word Gokaiger is replaced by Mobilates.
Original on the left Legends on the right http://a.imageshack.us/img196/1695/img1163bz.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img836/5088/img1165il.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img822/765/img1166br.jpg And here's some shots of the Aka Red key that comes with the Legends Mobirate and comparison with Gokai Red and Bouken Red http://a.imageshack.us/img831/6037/img1167h.jpg http://a.imageshack.us/img338/7686/img1168k.jpg |

So if 05/05 is Children's Day, and 07/07 is Tanabata...I think we may have a pattern here. Time to look up Japanese holidays! :lol

Have any new codes been found lately?
|
been messing with mine, is this thing missing a lot of sounds, almost none of the codes from the original mobirate work on this thing, can't even call forth the gokai galleon :lol

I guess the reason behind it was Bandai wanted to make it a more general Sentai roleplay item rather than a Gokaiger-specific one. Still a bit disappointing though :(

Maybe, but the fact ranger keys are still being made (and look to be for a good while yet) suggests they've become more than simply a Gokaiger marketing gimmick. The legends mobirate feels more like a general sentai roleplay toy for the anniversary while the original was a suited as a piece of Gokaiger merchandise.
|
This thing is definitely a step down from the original. Wish I hadn't sold mine now :(
|
I do love my Legends Mobirates, but I am a little irked how it was advertised as having so many new sounds when in reality you need at least 36+ keys to get the most out of it. With what I've seen of the original you only needed to have one or two keys and it could still do quite a lot.
|
well let's see what happens with the next sentai.
|
Hey it turns out you can use tape to change key sounds.
|
got mine, immedietly noticed the Mecha calls are gone....
|
Yeah, wish I'd known more about this prior to release because I'd have probably forked out for the original :( oh well

I just ended up selling it on eBay for the same price I paid for it from AmiAmi and I got to keep the Aka Red key. Before that, I did manage to find someone selling the Narikiri set without buckle and G/P keys for $70 shipped. Wish I have the mobirate and RKS 01 boxes though.
|
Since I don't really have any intention(as much as I'd like to) of owning all the ranger keys(or even 1 from every set) I probably won't be getting a Legends Mobirates anytime soon. The only additional sound I want is Go-Busters. They still need to get around to all the sets with green rangers so I can get all of those.
|
Yeah. I dont regret buying the legend mobirate, but I think I do regret selling the original.
|
I'm pretty happy with the Legends one, but I'd also like to own the original at some point, just for the mecha sounds and the show-accurateness.

Personally, I'm happy to have Mobirates regardless of the sound differences.

So whats missing on the newer Mobirates? is it that much of a difference?

Problem....
The OOO key set makes no sound on the Legend mobirates. just the special ranger key sound. |
That...doesn't make sense. I hope it's not true.
