Whew! Serious shame they don't ship to the EU. It was a total hassle grabbing Dairanger when it came out via a middleman and the box got cracked. Happy to see this is happening more though! Hopefully we'll see some Kamen Rider soon?
|
Hurricanger is, not one of my favorite shows by far. But I'm happy to keep seeing these sets going strong. And it puts us one step closer to Deka! Deka! Deka! Deka! Dekaranger! as well :D

Whew, was starting to get a bit nervous they were stopping!
|
I'm surprised we've gotten this far in Super Sentai DVD releases. Maybe the next one can be Fiveman?
|
It's all must the same opening to Ninja Storm.
|
Yay for Hurri, but even more yay because that means Abaranger is next.

I look forward to Abaranager next. I do wish Shout! will start releasing sets in SD Blu-Ray for their non HD Sentai shows since they can hold up more space and look nicer on HD TVs than normal DVDs do.
|
Five more until Gekiranger!
I'm so excited! |

I do want more pre-Zyuranger titles. Himitsu Sentai Gorengar would be cool to own on Blu-Ray. They release it on Blu-Ray in Japan. So releasing it here on Blu-Ray would be cool. You would probably have to pay a pretty nice penny for it (80+ episodes in one set won't be cheap).
|
Gorenger would be sweet, and even if it would be more expensive, it would still be a hell of a lot cheaper than importing it from Japan, and it'd be subbed :lol
|
Nice! I likes me some Hurricanger.
|
This is exciting because there is still no good fansub, right?

Hi guys. And gals.
Having got MMPR to Super Ninja Steel on DVD I have now started to add the shows adapted for Power Rangers. I just got Mega Ranger recently. By the time I add Hurricane Ranger hopefully the price drops. I'm watching on DVD and am almost done with Car Ranger. |
I ordered my set up 3 days ago and will get it on the 5th. It'll be interesting to see the first New Zealand produced series used in Power Rangers. Also it will be good to see a full 51 week series considering the drop by 14 episodes in the US.

Ninja Storm saw a drop to 38 episodes and Mystic Force down to 32 again with another drop of 6. We only got back to 40 with Samurai. I'm sick of PR being forced to condense these shows.

This video can explain on why Shout! Sentai DVDs have stopped.

There's one major glaring flaw in his reasoning, if what killed it was Toei's licensing practices why did they transition to Kamen Rider once Super Sentai became unavailable to them, Shout still deals with Toei's licensing. And from what I hear Kamen Rider is even more expensive than Super Sentai.
Not to mention its even less well known than Super Sentai and shout has the unenviable task of building the customer base for KR as they go. If Super Sentai was selling poorly no one in their right minds would undergo such an endeavor, it would be seen as tantamount to throwing money out the window. Bottom line he offers us no facts or hard sales figures just armchair quarterbacking and it didn't take me long to start poking holes in his logic. |
