Long-time Spider-Man fans know various comics, series, movies, storylines, characters, etc. The fans know of the giant Mecha that one variation of Spider-Man used, and a few more are learning more about Leopardon because of its inclusion in the comics, right down to the finishing move! The card back does give a brief description of the series, but releasing such a random toy in Walmart or Target would arguably prompt at least three questions from kids...1): Where can I see this series? and 2): Will they release a toy of Leopardon? and 3): Why does Spider-Man have a giant transforming Megazord with a cat head? http://ukiyaseed.weebly.com/ukiyasee...-gp-7-revealed |
It's more than likely kids will go "oooh cool spiderman car!!!" and beg their parents to get it

I don’t see how it’s any different to having ridiculous variants like Spider Punk and Spider UK have Marvel Legends figures and have those show up in a “random Walmart”

Leopardon is another animal...literally and figuratively! That said, would I want this car? Perhaps... Do I want an affordable U.S. figure of Leopardon and new adventures, either in comics or animated? Everyone here should know the answer to that one...cause they probably have had the same thought at least once! |
Everyone’s talking about this though, not Leopardon.
This isn’t any less a “variant of the title character”. And Leopardon is in the comic as well. |

I wouldn't mind getting one of these. The packaging is really cool.
