LupinRanger VS PatRanger Episode 3- "Take Back No Matter What!" Discussion
The PatRangers have turned up at the LupinRangers' cafe, Bistro Jurer. Can the LupinRangers keep their identities secret or will a new fight break out between the teams?
SuperHeroTime HAS MOVED TIMESLOTS! You can still view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts. Live Streams of the Superhero Time block now start at 8PM EST on Saturdays! |

Haven't seen it yet, but I'm assuming they just showed up for lunch. It's a pretty obvious "twist."

As someone who has never kept up with sentai, I am finding this series highly enjoyable! The cat and mouse aspect is hilarious while each character has their reasons.

Another good episode. I hope they can keep the momentum going. Kogure seems even more suspicious every episode, I won't be surprised if he is the Don's disguise.
I just don't like our dear police being made as comedic reliefs too much. |
Fun episode. Old dude being suspicious as always, though he did seem to show some initial surprise that the Patorangers had the Good Striker first. I am super curious as to what the big twist involving him will be. Maybe he's Arsene Lupin's ghost or something?
I like that Pat Kaiser's finisher is one precise shot. Makes sense for a cop, and I am glad that the amount of collateral damage in the mech fight this time wasn't the entire effing district. Anyway, looks like next episode won't feature too much cg on the mech, so I'm excited over that. |
Man, this show's on fire so far. This was the first "normal" episode now that everything's more or less set up (and the budget is starting to get reigned in), so assuming the rest of the show is at least this good, I'll be pretty happy. The comedy is really landing with me, and I also like how appropriately somber they're treating the Lupinranger's backstories. That the two don't clash is one of the many miracles of Super Sentai.
Judging by the fact they changed the music for the episode preview, it seems like the show might be focusing on each team in chunks? Like we might get 3 episodes in a row that are more about the Patrangers now? I was honestly expecting the Lupinrangers to just be "the" protagonists at this point, but I definitely wouldn't mind being proven wrong. |
Man i just love this series
I like pink's stern but caring attidute and for some reason she always got the most fight herself.... This week is for blue lupin and green pato i like the contrast of this episode and i don't mind patranger simple backstory, green just green in his job after all :D good job commisioner hilltop wise word I think i like pat kaiser more the face kinda remind me of gundam and patlabor From preview it seems next week is about pink and little yellow it seems, this year it seems ia m on team sentai |
those little things in this episode are what makes this episode good
also are this sentai will be the first one to don't have ending theme? |
Ike Nwala was criminally underused in this episode. He is half the reason I stayed watching this Sentai!
That scene where the Don's statue was destroyed was really funny with his right hand man trying to salvage the situation by saying that at least the feet were intact. |
