Mezco Toys Ultraman - Red King two pack
Thought I'd share this, wasn't quite sure if I should put here or in te news section. But it's an Ultraman teo pack, by an american company, in the 3.75 in scale with 5 points of articulation. Think the old Star Wars figures if you're not sure of the style. https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...l&utm_content=
What surprises me, outside of this actually being a thing, is the Ultraman figure comes with a pair of extra arms so you can do his Spacium beam. And what's eventually a diorama piece in Tatara island. |
That Ultraman figure looks better than I expected. I don't really have any interest in Red King though.

I'm looking at the description, and... h... how? How is it an upgrade to anything? G1 transformers??

It’s 2020, there’s no good excuse to still be making action figures with five points of articulation.
|
You could probably get S.H. Figuarts Ultraman at this point for that price.
|
Isn't MEZCO's whole idea is that their toys look old?
There's a market for all kinds of figures of varying articulation. Also yeah Bandai recently released Ultraman as part of the Figuarts Best Selection line (I was told they did this to capitalize on the Olympic 2020 tourists (and we all know what happened there)), but it turns out the figure itself is kind of low quality. Japan Twitter seems to feel like Bandai took some shortcuts with the release. |
