Beast Morphers Wave 1 OUT in Canada
|
I thought it would be no surprise Beast Morphers stuff would be in TRU first. I am a bit of a Beyblade Fan whose US stuff is also sold by Hasbro and its stuff always ends up in TRU in Canada before it heads to the US.
Usually before the stuff has hit Walmart, new Beyblade stuff would usually be spotted in Target. so anyone thats a US fan waiting for Beast Morphers stuff I suggest looking in Target first. |
So the hole hasbro thing of them coming out in 6 weeks is a U.S. only thing!? If hasbro can put them out in Canada Now then they can put them out now here to.

April huh? I'm going to London at the end of March and since my nephew couldn't stop begging to play with my SHF Red Buster (lost a leg in the process) I need to find a figure for him quick.
It is ironic that he like Red Buster a lot. Perfect chance to watch Power Rangers with someone. |

Odds are that somebody at the store broke a street date.

While US laws are great for protecting contracts and terms etc, it often causes more headache than the international market's versions of the same laws. |
I've never actually bought a power rangers toy but hot damn I want that morpher
|
It could also be something similar to how Amazon Canada will get Lightning Collection in stock in July, bit EB Games gets them in in May

Hasbro can't sell PR stuff in the states unitl april because the previous contract with Bandai America is still in place until then on toy rights. |
Seems like a general roll-out in Toys R Us stores across Canada, as I saw them at a Toronto store yesterday.
|
Confirmed these are at a TRU in Etobicoke, Ontario (y)

Good! Both lines are meant for a younger crowd, but they do have some interesting gems from time-to-time! Notice that little Ninjor Battle Mode/Samurai-Man packaged with Dino Charge Green? |
I got the first wave of figures (couldn't find the morpher so I'll have to wait a bit for that). The figures are pretty good, obviously have a massive quality increase from the previous ones, they all look really good and screen accurate.
Each of them coming with unique accessories is great, and the keys are honestly one of the smartest marketing decisions that Hasbro could have made, them functioning as accessories for the figures is fun even if they're fairly difficult to clip on nicely. Tronic's accessories are very difficult to fit in his hands without a lot of finagling. Biggest complaint is that Tronic and Blaze don't have any hip articulation when the Rangers do, and I can't figure out a reason why. They don't have extra accessories or anything, and I really don't think that this one single joint would bump the price up. This is definitely a step down from the Fury figure from Dino Charge. Also, the shoulder joints being on ratchet joints feels weird, and the joints on the Rangers start off very stiff. Overall, they're good. I'm excited to get more of them, specifically Roxy and Evox, even if they don't turn out as well articulation-wise |

They also scale pretty decently with Figuarts, I probably won't buy a whole lot of them myself just ones to fill out the main team. |
