DX KishiRyuOh Official Images
|
KishiRyuOh Three Knights can actually "Form Swap" between THREE SEPARATE STYLES!?!?
I'm sold!!! |
I like that they can do more than just change arms with red. Gives me a little more faith for upcoming mecha combinations.
|
It seems likely that the nature and concept of Combination changed with Good Striker and his ability to assume more than one standard "Main Mecha" Form!
|
I just can't get excited for this. I know it's from BOJ, but it really looks like something BOA would make.
|
They combine using LEGO style connections, at least that what it looks like. Makes me wonder if you could put any piece onto any of those 4 stud points like the knees or the side of the legs.

Nice seeing clearer images of the form-swaps, and that it'll continue with the other two. |
Loving the design here and versatility. Especially like the pink Torso version.
The connector system does look really fun. Quote:

Its too bad the combinations dont really beef him up that much. I am hoping we will get other dinos similar to red that can combine with him and become a much bigger bot.
|
Getting a Zoids Blox vibe. Anyone else?
|
This is far better than what I could've imagined.

Still like the look of the mecha, annoyed we still aren't seeing any pics of the extra RyuSouls being used as heads.
The other configurations for KishiRyuOh look cool and I think they're a cool idea, but I think the angle chosen for these pictures is pretty deliberate. The Triken one in particular I feel is gonna look rougher in reality--it's essentially just a cube sticking out of the chest, so it's gonna look a lot worse in angles where the sheer cut off in volume is more obvious, particularly on the bottom. Ankiroze will probably do better, depending on how the top of it looks. It's a more full shape so it's not as jarring as a chest piece. Tail on the arm is kind of random, though I guess the strength of this combination system is that if you don't like part of it you can literally just change it. Thus is Lego. Really interested in seeing if Tyramigo can disassemble more than appearances would suggest, because there's a lot of possibilities for things they could do. Overall though, still a big fan of these conceptually and visually save a couple things. Probably won't be jumping on them anytime soon, but maybe if I can find them for cheap later on. We should also get the Q2 catalog soon, so that'll definitely play a part in convincing me on their worth in the long term. |

Power Rangers Dino Knights is gonna be huge in the states when it happens. Honest!
I think the concept works, and definitely a better workaround for just having straight mecha. |
Honestly I think this mech will do VERY well. The pegs allow for SO many customization options that I can see loads of kids just fiddling around with it all the time. I know I would
|
The lego-style connections seems like a cool idea and I don't mind the designs this time around but I wish we got mechs with less parts-forming and more transforming!
|
I am so behind this line, love it.
Shame I don't think I can convince the better half that I need it haha. |

The whole play pattern of rearranging parts and making ridiculous combinations appeals to me A LOT. Very cool.
|
Does anyone know what size those lego like connectors are? Cause if they're the the same size as lego (or any copy/knock off the same size as lego) people will really have a field day with this one
