1 Attachment(s)
The Criterion Collection has announced that they will be releasing all 15 Godzilla movies from the Showa Era this Fall in October. For people who don't know, The Criterion Collection is a film company that is normally focuses on licensing important classic and contemporary films such as movies from Akira Kurosawa, Ingmar Bergman, etc.

So that's spine 1000 (something something Klute). Great we're getting quality releases of all of these but (naturally) that price tag...
|
This will be the first time we will be getting the Japanese version of King Kong vs. Godzilla outside of Japan.

Awesome!
I have most of the Showa era films in Japanese (I think the only ones I'm missing are Ebirah, King Kong (Which I don't even own a copy of in any language, I've just learned as of making this post :lol), and Hedorah). I might still grab this solely to have them all in a uniform collection! |
I don’t want to think about the price for this... Really cool though!
|
Neat! :)

This set may be getting a Region B release according to a e-mail on the Blu-Ray.com forums (Assuming if it is true)
