Figuarts Saber & Blades
1 Attachment(s)
coming February & March 2021.
|
Beautiful! Preorders when? I want to preorder these before I miss out.
|
Just like Ridewatch in Figuarts version, the Wonder Ride Books didn't have a transformation page pictures so I hope the Wonder Ride Books stickers are included.
|
Pre-orders start October 9th (japan time I'm assuming). Blades comes with a sheathed version for both him and Saber. Saber comes with his sword, and still retails for 3200JPY which is interesting considering they skimmed out on accessories because they wanted the products to be "cheaper", yet Saber can come with a sword and still be at that price point.

Both go on pre-order the same day ? oh boy ...
Shame that we're getting blank gimmick items again Unless theres other pics floating out there , looks like Saber has a plastic skirt piece |
|
I'm glad that they are finally bundling the weapons with the figures again.

Also, please don't make Espada an exclusive like that stunt they did with Valkyrie. I need all 3 Riders from the Oranamin C commercial.

I'm saving my money.

On one hand I'm glad that Saber actually has his weapon but on the other hand those undetailed books though. I hate how this is happening more and more it unbecoming for such a high end line. Man The Gaim figuarts were able to have details on the lockseed and that was like 6-7 years ago and it still smaller than Ridewatches or the WonderRide Books

Saber is GORGEOUS
Did not notice the blank books though. Oof. While many things about Figuarts still impress me, stuff like that is so disappointing for what has been touted as such a premium line often applauded for the little details like that. |
The figures look great but the blank book and plastic skirt are disappointing. Oh well, I will only buy Saber and maybe Buster so I don't care too much, the designs and the show don't appeal to me much anyways.
|
If there's this much disappointment over them I guess I'll just wait until they become inevitably cheaper on the aftermarket then. Win for me! :lol
|
If this is just how it's gonna be forever, then they ought to stop designing Rider belts to have the gimmick item so front and center...
|
I don't really mind the blank books too much, though I suppose they could've at least been the same color as the Rider they're supposed to be for. And while they look fantastic, I think I'll hold off until we get Buster 'cuz he's my definite favorite design (I wonder if he'll come with an arm replacement for Jackun). I am curious as to if the finisher holster can actually hold the swords, though considering their thickness and the holster's apparent thinness, maybe not.
|
Inb4 Shinkkochou Seihou Saber coming in like 5 years or sometjing with a more detailed belt and cloth side skirt.
|
Shame about the plastic skirt and lack of book detail, but I suppose that just gives SHF Upgrade something to do haha.
Looks great otherwise! February is a dangerous month for collectors |

It's hard not to be disappointed at the lack of printing on the wonder books or Saber's plastic skirt piece but they still look fantastic all things considered.
Will definitely be in for both. And the eventual Buster TWE when that hits. Honestly I wouldn't mind going in fully on Saber just for the whole Riders of The Round Table angle it's going at. |
Wow. So Bandai is really just assuming that SHF Upgrade will take care of the weak points in their releases, I guess. The WRB and the solid-piece half-skirt are just not okay.
|
I was hoping Zero-One figuarts having the little logo at the tip of the Progrise keys was a sign that Bandai was going back to including actual detail on the gimick items, I'm disappointed they're going back to Zi-O standards instead. I am pleasantly surprised Saber comes with his sword though. Wss worried he'd have the sword sheathed version of the driver and the sword would come with Blades
|
Extra 2000 JPY for the 2 sheathed sword drivers are expensive. The Saber belt should be included in the Saber Figure. Bandai really want ppl to buy both Saber n Blade. Wish they would include extra wonder books With colour outlines, even if it’s blank.

I am gonna buy both riders for 3250 + 5500 = 8750 JPY (not including shipping I know). 8750/2 = 4375 JPY per Rider. I am only paying 4375 JPY per Rider n get the sword n sheathed sword drivers for both riders. What a steal! Thanks Bandai! |

Man that Cookie Monster looks good.
|
I like that they come with unique stands. Love when figures do that.

Saber includes his sword and three sets of hands, Blades with the same but also two belts for him and Saber with the swords sheathed. |

The whole team is gonna look amazing together. In a way that a full sentai team of Figuarts looks good, but is so rare because we mostly only got Reds.
