Although sometimes I'm not in the mood for fillers in a way I do actually like the Asian side of things being year-round seeing as in Britain hardly any TV shows are on for most of the year and when Power Rangers was just 32 episodes it was depressing even though RPM was one of those, it just smacked of people involved in TV not caring about what they would see a kids show whereas if it's year round to my mind at the risk of sounding a bit like Alan Partridge you could almost compare it to a British soap or kids shows we used to have that were a bit grittier, like Byker Grove!
And also sometimes the constant narrative of Showa vs. Heisei can be annoying especially considering we're not in Heisei anymore, I mean considering I was born in 92 I do feel well placed to say that most of 2000-2008 was really not like 2009 onwards type stuff and Kamen Rider is not an exception so somehow considering 00s and 10s shows in the same category seems a bit too simplistic. |

I will be following TokuKnight89's guide: 1-4, 14-17, 22-27, 42-47 Don't worry about seeming harsh all movies/shows are subjective. I am just revisiting my childhood days looking for the meaty substance and trimming unnecessary fat in these older shows. I usually watch anime, american, or british tv shows and they have a lot of filler that just boggs down the series a lot. Series like Boruto, The Walking Dead, Dragon Ball Super, etc. have too much filler and almost made me quit the show because once the canon things start any or all references to those arcs are gone. |
