When a monster threatens Summer Cove, the Ninja Steel Rangers tap into the power of a brand new Megazord!

I feel like until they morphed, this was an advertisement for Old Navy.

Poor Super Ninja Steel. You had a new episode but all anyone cares about is Go-Busters being adapted into Beast Morphers.
-Let's hope we keep the same person doing theme music during the Hasbro era. -Sigh, did those girls ever see a sitcom? There's no way this plan won't cause a headache later. -Oh see now they need a DSROV in order to save the day, and thanks to not wanting their parents to date... -Micks probably the best character. -Why is Monty still friends with Victor again? -And now we have a surfer robot. Eh why not. |
Wait, this episode was out? Dammit I missed it! Need to see what wrong they did!

And it was yet again Rangers being idiots. Seriously, what's wrong with their parents dating?

I mean they turned it into a generic moral about teamwork but there was something that could have worked |
As corny as these PSA moments are, I got to admit I always enjoy Mick's mentoring. Few words with sarcastic remarks, and that's enough to make the Rangers see how idiotic they were.

Glad to see I haven't missed any startling new advances in the show's writing. |
May be this is there way of saying there are MMPR Rangers coming later in the season.

Man... I sure do miss the days when each new power ranger series had its own unique theme music that you could appreciate and not just another lazy, forgettable and poorly written MMPR rip off for the fifth time...
It's choices like this that not only make me care less about the current season, but also make me grow more annoyed with MMPR nostalgia... quit selling nostalgia and make us care about something new so that 20 years from now we have something else to feel nostalgic about. There are plenty of other theme songs and seasons better than MMPR and I know I can't be the only one who thinks that and is greeting kind of tired of hearing more MMPR renditions. |
I don't mind Go Go Power Rangers showing up again, especially if it's just as background music, but couldn't they make it series-specific instead of a generic "All together"?
I mean, I guess this'll help them avoid more mix-ups like when they played the Samurai version as background music in Megaforce. And it means they won't have to re-record it again, so it makes financial sense, but does it really cost that much to re-record it every two years? They're already using it as background music in the second season of Ninja Steel. |
