I absolutely love Amazon's design, it's not my favorite Showa design, but it's pretty close.
|
Never liked this design tbh. I find it really ugly, I mean, the figure is great with all the details and stuff but I don't like the design.

Holy crap this thing is awesome. From a design standpoint, Amazon is one of my favorite suits. This figure just captures everything I love about it. The accessories are all great too.
Even if this gets an SS re-release, I think i'd be fine with this version. Hopefully the older figures go down in price with all of these new releases :D |
He always has such a unique design and even to this day Amazon pops in a crowd of other Riders.
I have to bring attention to the very detailed paintwork; this is why people love the Figuarts. Add in his extensive parts list and you got yourself a nice figure that any Amazon or Rider fan will be proud to own. |
Amazon's by far the one Showa Figuart that would benefit from an update last. As he is, he's so well-sculpted, extremely posable, comes with basically everything needed and is just a joy to play with.
It sucks that he tends to be the most difficult release to track down for a reasonable price, since he deserves the love. |
This is one of those figures that I like more than the actual show...but that's only because I haven't seen the show. I sort of want to now, after seeing this SHF!

I have the normal Amazon Figuart (With a normal box), and I love it so much. He was one of the few Figuarts that I rushed to get just because I love the character so much (Even if I stopped watching the show halfway through...And I have no idea why...). With such a unique design and lots of character, I couldn't miss out on my favorite Showa Rider!
The figure is a delight. From his strangely articulated pecs to his amazing Daisetsudan effect piece, I love most everything about him. Being a hand to hand fighter, I'm actually kind of surprised at how much he includes when they could've Agito'd him and just included closed fists and "Rage" palms. It's nice that they gave him so much. I love the sculpted claws on his hands, too. I honestly don't have many qualms about the figure. While it does suck that he's missing the blind version of the head, with the yellow eyes, it's a piece that I can live without. Also, thank god his belt includes a solid piece. Fourze's belt is a nightmare because of how much of it can just fall off. I'm glad the empty belt and the heavier condorer rope handle are just separate pieces. |
Woah, they really did a good job translating Amazon to a figure. I love the claws and that it even has a hinged jaw! I can't think of a single reason for the articulated pecs though, what the heck is up with that? Besides that though, I think it is great, GIGIGIGI!

Love this suit, one of my favorite Showa Riders, looks like they did the design pretty well in Figuart form

The armlet details and the combined version is so cool!
