Hell, what if all this is because Super Sentai's going away? What if there isn't any new Sentai for Hasbro to use?
What if the next Power rangers show is an adaptation of Ryukendo?! |

I think that's pretty fair in regards to Sentai, but even in the worst case scenario of Sentai taking a very very long break after Kiramager ends; there's still a lot of material Hasbro can use, especially if they continue to follow the current format and stretch each season out to 2 years. Lupat and Kiramager alone, for instance, would take them up all the way through 2026.

It has to be a fake. This report is lame!

To be frank, I don't want Disney to handle Power Rangers, I just want the Marvel division to. Sure the comics nowadays are a hit and/or miss (to be fair they are getting better ever since CB Cebulski took over), but at the very least to have Power Rangers being oversee by people like Kevin Feige is a dream. |
Hasbro making a live action show with entirely new footage and designs seems plausible but ...
theres NO way they can continue making Lightning Collection figures, zords, morphers etc. without SOME kind of sign off from Toei right ? |
Would not be surprised if they decide to stick to the first season of MMPR as the source and just rinse-and-repeat every few years like Transformers making an adjustment or two.

What people are forgetting is that if this is true then Hasbro loses all image rights to anything Sentai related. This included all past Power Rangers stuff. They won't have MMPR to use for anything. Especially nostalgia, which is the bread winner of Power Rangers.
Secondly! People shouldn't look into this too much. Why? Because Hasbro hasn't come forward about this or made any statements. This should be looked at with extreme scrutiny as everything else PR related is. Especially when the times of contract endings is approaching. |
On the one hand, I've always felt that Power Rangers would be more successful if it pursued its own storyline instead of just adapting Sentai every year. On the other hand, Toei makes money off of PR as well, right? So if they stopped adapting Sentai, then Sentai would struggle even more than it already is.
Anyways, neither of those really has to do with this. I guess we'll see what happens? |
