I'm still annoyed by the shafting of Richard Rider especially when his series was going so well under Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. Heck all Marvel Cosmic was doing great at the time. There may have been some lows (Annihilation:Conquest was not as good as it could have been) but there were some very entertaining highs (War of Kings) and Richard was at the core of a lot of it.
Now we have Sam Alexander who...well...I'm ok with the idea of a young green as grass new character but the Nova mantle was one that was coming into its own. Richard was slowly climbing up from third-string character status to something coming close to first string...then they ended him... ...And brought back Thanos and "Peter Quill"...It felt premature and worst it feels like Sam Alexander is being made into a tribute character to Jeph Loeb's son....which would be fine if Loeb had any ties to the Nova character at all prior to this. I'm giving the book a chance but my patience is wearing thin. |
Read the first five issues of battle of the atome and have one really big question...why cant deadpool be as funny in his own series like he is in here? :lol

You know, I never thought Avengers could be pretentious outside of philosophy books. I'm not even two issues in, and it's already reached that point. I'm still going to read it, though.

In comparison to the current issues the first two arcs of Hickmans Avengers is really really boring. When you get to the whole Infinity stuff this is where stuff really gets interesting even though its just event tie ins :lol

Yeah the only issues so far I really didnt care about were the ones that focused on Hyperion. I really dont get this guy to me he comes off as an even less intresting version of the Sentry.

So... OctoPeter restored Peter's mind ghost when he tried to access Peter's old memories.
Don't tear this hope away from me, Marvel. Just... don't. Quote:

I just had a thought.
DC vs. Marvel was an event that happened in the mainstream continuities of both DC and Marvel, correct? But the DC Universe rebooted, while the Marvel Universe did not. Because of this discrepancy, would that mean that DC vs. Marvel never happened, or that the timeline for that were altered to accommodate the New 52 versions of DC characters? |
