Yeeeesssss! This is awesome!
Let me know when we get to the Full Full Bottle modes! I want Rabbit. Lol! |
that background set is amazing. The stairs even have rust on them.
|
The textures on that plastic are SO smooth. I had to double take, didn't realize it was a figure at first, had to look for the joints.
|
I didn't realize it was SHF at first, I thought that was a picture of the suit from the show. I'm impressed!

Looks very good.

The more I see of that Full Bottle close up...the more I think of a can of pepsi.

Also, I'm in the boat of people who saw the preview and thought that was the in-show suit. If I liked the design at all, I'd be stoked for it, but... nope. Can't stand it. I suspect this series is going to be notorious for replacing stellar base forms with drastically less appealing upgrades. |
So they still not yet announce other Best Match Forms Figuarts? I hope other Best Match Forms (GorillaMond, HawkGatling, NinninComic, etc) will be released too in future.
Anyway, I love Build RabbbitTank Sparkling Figuarts. This is one of best Build Form along with HawkGatling, RocketPanda, and NinninComic :D |
Isn't the card giving away the release date too? It says May on there. So either a Web-Exclusive since we've seen May's retail releases already or this will be a surprise announcement of sorts because the pre-order drop for those is still a week away. I'm more inclined to believe it's the later, hero upgrades are usually a retail thing.
The figure looks great by the way, but I don't think I need it. I rather wait and see how the Jelly Riders turn out. The designs aren't the biggest hit IMO but clear plastic is always hella sexy on figures. EDIT: I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_ZKnJ4-iiY It's definitely a May release, don't know if it's retail or exclusive though. Quote:
For Ex-Aid they didn't bother with showing prototypes at all, they never did any LV3 forms and instead went with the much easier LV5 stuff. (Although technically, I think we've seen a LV3 Genm in that crazy God Kuroto Dan display? But they didn't do any of the heroes is my point). The fact that we haven't seen anything from Build so far and them already being on Rabbit Tank Sparkling is pretty telling that they probably don't plan on releasing any of the regular Build Change forms. I assume these kinds of releases simply fell out of style, Gaim was the last show where the popularity was so big that people bought everything, but even then alternate forms were easy to find on the aftermarket. With Drive it became more extreme, you can still find Type Wild in-stock at some retailers today. With Ghost, they didn't even bother releasing the planned prototypes since not even the main heroes sold well, and after that I assume they reworked their model and just don't do those early alternate forms at all anymore. They seem to focus on basic forms, secondary Riders and upgrades nowadays. Which are generally the best sellers anyways, and if not then well, at least they only have a handful of figures out clogging shelves instead of a whole lineup. |
Hell even with Gaim they never covered all the lower-end alternate forms, since Gaim Ichigo and Ryugen Kiwi still haven’t seen the light of day.
I’m inclined to ageee that the days of getting figures of alternate forms that aren’t significant power boosts are mostly over. On the subject at hand, this figure is gorgeous. I’m not a big fan of the suit, but man it looks magnificent here. It’s a pass from me though - standard RabbitTank is all I need and I’m still undecided about which version of Cross-Z to pick up along the line. |

I like regular Cross-Z much better but if Charge is a retail release and the clear plastic looks ace then I'm content with having the main and secondary Rider with different belts. |

I still hoping the Build Sparkling released in retail release. The BCR line has good paint and proportion but sadly the BCR lines didn't have head and waist articulations. They make a lot form in Candy Toy version (including Cross-Z default Form, Night Rogue, and Blood Stalk) but I am not fan the body proportions in Candy Toys version. |

Found a complete picture of the display, the second card with the May release date on it is Blood Stalk's, so Rabbit Tank Sparkling is not confirmed for release just yet. I don't think it will take much longer though.

Cross-Z and Build is really cool when they are fight together. |
Another missed opportunity: Sparkling has no FullBottles in his holder.
Remember back when the Drive Figuarts thoughtfully provided Shift Cars, and Gaim Figuarts at least came with Lock Seeds compatible with the holders? |
Oh man this looks awesome!! Have I already missed the pre-orders?

Granted I know it's a specially painted prototype, but I legitimately thought this was the show costume at first glance. The detail and paint is crisp.
Is this basically the 'FangJoker" of Build? Because that was my first thought, the sort of "spike-fied" gimmick-incompatible mid tier form, was dead-on FangJoker to Build's W. We still haven't seen his final form yet, yeah? |
