Looks like Evolt and build got their final form items. Both created from the pandora box?
|
Hmm...When does Mad Rogue come into the picture then I wonder.
|
|
Man. If you wanted a downer ending you can end the show right here. Preview leaves me curious as hell though
|
Another episode that feels like the finale is coming .
|
Evolt's speech about scientific advancement leading to taking life for granted sounds like the years before WW1. A near century of relative peace destroyed for nothing.
|
I think that BloodStalk/Evolt used to be a warmonger or a human weapon (Or Martian Weapon, if you will) who eventually finished the World War of Mars by killing all the Martians. That is why he believes that science is the path to war and believes in the destructive impulses of sentient species like Martians or humans.
The reason I say this is because I am frustrated with BloodStalk's/Evolt's lack of a coherent reason to destroy the world, which is a great disservice to him and the whole series that the ultimate villain is just a generic, evil for the sake of evil villain. What else have they have planned him for then? Tying up Misora to the train tracks? Foreclosing Souichi's mortgage for the cafe? Now granted, the series still has time to explain his motives but I am still dreading a terrible execution. Which is why I bothered to post this rant and theory. |
White Hair!

Wow this is certainly a great set-up for the finale...
EEEEEExcept we have like 13-15 more episodes to go. |

I have a feeling Evolt's ultimate philosophy boils down to believing that scientific advancement will inevitably lead to destruction and chaos. His purpose may be to tear down civilizations that are becoming too scientifically advanced. It happened to Mars and he sees Earth going down the same path (which Nanba Heavy Industries is a testament to).
It actually makes sense since it's a direct contrast to Sento's philosophy that science isn't inherently good or evil; it's how people use it. As a side note, I love how Nanba sent Utsumi to stop Evolt as if there was anything he could have realistically done at that point lmao |
Basically Nanba sent Utsumi with no back up to his death
|
There is still explanations needed on the bottles themselves. Why they are needed to power pandora's box? And who made the bottles required?
And why the pandora's box accepts essences from earth's native lifeforms? |
This episode really makes me think that Evolt is something akin to the Reapers from Mass Effect. Some of the wording in the episode made it seem that Mars was not the first planet destroyed by Evolt. That along with his speach about science leading to complacency and conflict makes it seem that perhaps Evolt goes from world to worlx, destroying them before they can destroy themselves, or something like that. I could be completley wrong in this, but thats just the vibe I got.
|
I got that vibe as well.

Build is great and the execution is fine, but there are times I wish they didnt rehash or go that route. Next week feel like the episode before the finale. I guess Sento is phase 3 and BH is phase 4 unless he's going rouge. I wonder if stark require banjo to be perfect. For example, if he leave Banjo's body to possess Sento, then does that mean the other piece of him is still intact with Banjo or he already reabsorb it. Does it mean Banjo is back to being a weak human again? We already confirm banjo is originally a human fetus before being infected by Evolt. |
Situation in this episode is almost similar to last 3 episodes in other Rider series but I think Build still has remaining 14 episodes. Hmmm....I has feeling Evolt will not become last villain.
|
i lol-ed when Utsumi tried to stop Evolto...did he think he would succeed by just shooting the outdated Transteam gun at him?? xD
So is it confirm Evolto is possessing Sento in the next ep for EvolRabbit? I would not be surprised if its all Sento's plan to unlock Genius. The preview images looked as if Sento is corrupted by Evolto instead of being possessed, like maybe he gains Evolto's knowledge on how to make the Evol Driver. I mean where else will they get another Evol Driver for Mad Rogue? |
Is it me or does Evol seem to deliberately target groins? I mean this is already the second time he's blasted Kazumin below the belt now, its getting a little silly.

Is it weird for me to want Nanba as the final bad guy? ( I would laugh out of my ass is they pull a «*Nanba*» is Shocker in disguise though...)

Something hadn't really thought about until these past two episodes, but Evol is low-key terrifying in how he just goes to the cafe like it's nothing. Effectively, Team Build isn't even SAFE from Evol in their own hideout.
|
"Oh Hai! Jus' here to fck your sht up!"
yeah no doubt. They can't hide and really have no secrets from him. |
Some of you are talking about how Namba will be the final villain, but they could go for a real twist and make it Utsumi!
The episode was good, I decided while watching that I really like Evol Dragon, the unusual color scheme really sells it for me. The way Evol just toys with everyone is really fantastic, and the fact that everything has worked more or less in his favor so far does a great job making him a threatening villain. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that we still have over 10 episodes to go considering that Pandora's Box has already been opened and is currently destroying Japan. |
Maybe they'll wrap it up in 40?
|
The show should be the normal episode length unless anyone heard any rumors.
|
Unless Zi-O begins early, Build will probably have 48-50 episodes if there are no more hiatuses.
