Thanks for the great gallery and review, I was wondering how this would turn out as I was hesitant about it when it was first shown.
It's a shame it turned out exactly as I'd feared it would. The base body is nicely detailed, but the limitations of the gimmick just outweigh any good points this figure had. Oh well...money saved, I guess! |
And here's GC02.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ_sviiM8Q4 I like the idea but the execution of these sets leaves me a bit cold. This is only the second set but I doubt I'll be getting many more. |

Hello all! Long time lurker first time poster. I just got my GC01. I don't know if anyone noticed but if you pop his helmet from the back of the hood he can turn his head left a right a good amount and a crap amount up.

First time poster. I just opened the Kamen Rider Ghost figure a few minutes ago. My first Kamen Rider figure ever!
Anyways, if you want to go for the hoodless look and full articulation, there's a cheat that I think was intentional. You can pop off the front parts of the jacket (which include the shoulder pieces permanently attached) from the back of the jacket. Then, you can attach these front pieces directly onto the shoulders of the base figure. As mentioned in previous threads, you can pop off the mask/helmet from the hood, and secure it directly onto the base figure's head. The result is full head articulation, no hood, and much more freedom everywhere else. Yes, his back is "naked", but you can get a lot of great photography/display angles where you can't even see that the back is missing. If you look at him straight on, it's impossible to tell. I hope this helps some people enjoy these figures more. It made a night and day difference for me! |
Well, since you can pop the face piece off of the hood, I want to see an image of him with his faceplate on and no coat/hoodie. I think that would look cool.

Here's a pic with the back of the jacket removed.
