Help finding a series
Now, hear me out. This is going to sound a little odd.
I need help finding a series that I think might have been a toku show. All I can remember is one of the toys. It was a silver dragon/dinosaur style robotic kaiju that had the main gimmick of several other figures attaching to it for multiple modes. There was an odd turtle mode that involved flipping the dragon upside down, for example, and attaching the other necessary mech to do so. I know this sounds super ambiguous and vague, but that's all I can remember (And it's entirely possible this wasn't a toku production, and was a super robot show), but I cannot for the life of me remember anything beyond this central dragon mech that all the other toys in the line interacted with. |
The only toku-centric analog that remotely comes to mind at the moment is Justiriser of the Chouseishin Series.

It was Justiriser. Thanks! I was going mad trying to find it :lol
The central dragon thing I was describing was "Riseross" |
The very show that introduced us to Kazuki Namioka who went on to be Shishimaru in Lionmaru G, a guest role in Den-O (I believe it was the Chameleon Imagin episodes), and finally Sid in Gaim. It's not my favorite out of the three, but it had its moments especially when they brought in Namioka's character and power-ups were introduced.
