First Beast Morphers Trailer!
|
I like how they showed off Powered Custom and Go Buster King but didn't show future Rangers
|
Not going to lie, not digging the snake virus. The skull from Gobusters was much cooler.
|
From the trailer, this feels like it might be a one season approach again. Hope so. That'd make later things easier and would speed up the transition to Hasbro influenced material. Instead of having to wait 4 years, we could see Hasbro stuuf take hold in 2 or 3. Depending on what footage is used after this.
Liking the setup and premise too. Hope it takes off. |
I like what we’ve seen, wanna see more about the characters though.

I think they went with snake to keep the animal motif overall. So it might play more into the story on why. Skulls aren't typically something Nickelodeon worries about. So I don't think that change had to do with concerns of kid reactions. |
Look forward to a series with a new story this time rather then literally using the same plot points as its predecessor

But is likely a ranger form that uses Evox's presence in the grid. Might be a build up to the earth side bad guy trying to control evox or use its power for themselves, leading to something else like a growing rift between badguys like we saw with In Space's Psycho Rangers and how they made the real big bad weaker because they were draining its powers to power themselves. One of those climax twists kind of things. Where the servant is tired of being a servant and wants to be the big bad in charge, but fails. Or could be the final battle. But I think they might save the final battle for something bigger, and "Dark Buster" is more to foreshadow the build up to that and show Evox's gains in the Grid. Seems more like a "mid boss" than a final boss kind of thing. Does seem to suggest we will likely at least get some kind of version of Enter too, and maybe Escape. Though I kind of hope they add Insert, Shift, End, or Delete as well. The keyboard names idea is kind of too awesome to not use more of. And additional ranger suits are always a plus. A full "evil ranger team" again would be sweet to see. |

Go-Buster does barely have a 3rd of the content/merchandise Kyu has. Maybe right under half. Didn't nickelodeon renew for 3 years? That could be why. Those 3 seasons to see if they can bring the property back up. Then a renewal that'll go into and after the 30th. Or Hasbro might be free to shop around some with the renewed buzz. |
I was at the casting panel at Power Morphicon, and they stated that they were apparently done casting major parts for the next 2 years. They also mentioned that they had cast 4 Rangers. Make of that what you will.

But that is forgetting HippoRanger. But who knows how things change too. So could go any direction really until they announce what it is. And you also have to keep in mind, sometimes staff likes to mess with people to keep surprises too. All this talk of Beast Morphers keeps making me think about Go-Busters and how it was one fun long Power Rangers parody in itself. Especially that movie/special where it essentially Power Ranger-ized itself/made a sentai out of itself. Quote:

I can dig it. Was excited to see Go-Busters finally adapted and this puts me any worries I may have had at ease.
I just hope Hasbro nails the zords. |

P.S.: Was there some brief new footage of enemy Megazords in that trailer? I saw at least one scene where an enemy robot lands in water that I honestly don't remember from Go-Busters!!! |

It was one episode and one movie. Which had the 4 enemy robots in water. Really am hoping we get the various enemy Zords made though. Alpha-Omega were some great designs, as were some of the adapted ones like Kuwagata Zord. But the Type Gamma plain is definitely my favorite besides Zeta, Epsilon, and Omega. Though Alpha and Beta are neat too. Really hoping we get a good 5'' or 6'' line of those. Really want something that scales well to minipla. |
I Love the trailer. For the first time in a Very long time. I Can't wait to see a new season of power rangers.
That hole trailer was better then all of the Ninja Steel season. Ninja Steel was ok at times. And it look like super ninja steel is going to be good. May be? |
So the big bad of the season is...a computer virus snake.
Well, after a space witch, a guy with no skin wearing something H.R. Giger would create, a colony of space bugs, an evil dinosaur guy, the Miser Brothers, and many, many "evil space aliens", I'm okay with this. As long as Beast Morphers turns out fine, I can forgive them for having the villain be something unorthodox. |

I hope for an original ranger like Titanium. The one who uses the lion zord.
|
I'm still holding out hope that they keep the "It's morphing time" from the original Go-Busters toys.
Otherwise, the adaptation looks cool and I'm thinking about giving it a try. |

"For the end of Evox!", something akin to "Unleash the power!", or even something pertaining to their animal motif. More likely just a simple battle cry. Heck, change "Let's morphing!" to "Time to morph!" or something redundant. Just some spitballing here lol. It's likely something simple, cheesy, and silly. |

Or could even be a simple belt out "BEAST MORPH!" So it's "It's morphing time!" Then "BEAST MORPH!" Doubtful it'd be direct villain name in it, but otherwise you're right about simplicity. It'd also be something vague enough to become their catch phrase to fight against all villainy hence why not mentioning any singular bad guy name. Though they do have a tendency to stick to the word "power" in catch phrases. |

I hope if Toqger is used for Power Rangers after Beast Morphers we get a female Red Ranger in it.
