Bluefin Announces more Kamen Rider merch coming to the US
You can watch the announcement video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=winRcMq8El4

So Bluefin delivers merch and Spotify/Apple deliver music, and yet everyone is missing the obvious: Western Disc Releases! What's the point in all of this if you can't (officially) view what the licensed material is derived from!?
SHOUT! did Sentai (up to a point) and Mill Creek has Ultraman! Someone step-up and acknowledge our wishes! |
Honestly, it sucks were starting off with the W and Lost Driver... Nothing cool? Like Zero-One Driver? OOO CSM? Fourze Driver?

Yeah, I understand that. But, I was hoping for something more exciting.
Now that I really think about it. Drive, Ghost, Wizard... None of them will be getting releases. The sadness I feel right now |

Personally, I can only hope that this is the start of something amazing for Kamen Rider overseas. |

I don't get why people are mad that we don't have the shows ASAP as we get to prove we're willing to buy KR stuff, if sales are good with Bluefin, a toy company, they can spread the word and have someone decided to make DVDs
|
I'm kinda surprised they're not starting with the Hiden Driver. W is popular, but you'd think that maybe it'd make more sense to test the waters with a Driver that -won't- break a lot of peoples' wallets...

Kurona has a point

I wish they would bring over more Sentai stuff. Not just what was adapted to Power Rangers. It's ridiculous that I can find Power Rangers super-mini pla but I cannot find Liveman or Jetman in stores.
|
Remember, difference between the current Hiden Driver and the CSM W Driver is that one of a mass retail toy meant for kids first, the other is a collector's oriented release. Bluefin distributes high-end collectibles, so I don't see them bringing DX drivers over unless they get some sort of premium release.
Obviously I could be wrong and suddenly they decide to bring it over, but that seems to be what this is gonna be. I'd expect the CSM OOO Driver, Decade Driver, DiEnd Driver etc. |
I hope this means Barnes & Noble will start carrying Rider belts.
They carry a lot of stuff that Bluefin has brought over. |

People don't want to pay a lot for a niche show. Ultraman, and Garo are from different companies and have different licensing fees. Juspion was probably cheaper for Discotek to release because Metal Heroes has not been a major title in ages. |
After wanting the CSM W Driver for a while, I finally bought it less than a year ago...so of course now they announce an updated version that's getting an official western release! Still great news obviously, but wow my timing sucked. :lol
On the plus side though, I planned to get the Lost Driver eventually, so now this is the perfect opportunity. |
