Favorite Power Rangers Toy Fair Reveal
Well?!
|
While there wasn't much revealed, the Legacy Ninja Megazord, because I really love that Megazord :lol
I'm liking the Legacy figures, too. I want to see more of them. |
I like the idea of the Legacy Figure line, especially since a lot of rangers don't have anything like good accurate figures at that scale. Really looking forward to these, even if they probably won't get to the seasons I'm interested anytime soon (or depending on how it does, potentially ever).
|
From what we know...
First seasons - MMPR (iconic) - Ninja Storm (nod to Ninja Steel) I assume next would go... - Zeo (iconic) - Dino Charge (still relevant) Followed by... - In Space (iconic/fan favorite) - Dino Thunder (keep the Dinos going!) |
The legacy figures have me the most interested. The megazord looks fantastic, and the sculpts and articulation looks like a nice return to from.

I'm amped up for Jungle Fury, but I don't know when that series would possibly get released. The question humming around in my mind is whether we'd see the legendary powers as figures for this line :p |

And RPM seems to be something of a fan favorite of sorts, but obviously doesn't compare to the amount of interest the original seasons get. Don't know when we'll see it either. In any case I'm expecting at least a few years of waiting. |
I actually anticipate Wild Force to be one of the earlier releases. While it's not that good of a series, a lot of people tend to look back on it fondly.
Dunno about Mystic Force, though. |
Looking forward to the Legacy figures, especially Ninja Storm. Growing up, I played a Ninja Storm PC game every day on my dad's computer. Funnily enough, though, I never watched Power Rangers at all because I was too young to remember the channel number. I caught maybe one episode, about the Blue Ranger turning evil.
I also had Yellow and Black from Dino Thunder as action figures... I hope they get to those sooner than later. |
6 inch figures for sure. Especially with Ninja Storm (my some of my favourite designs) being second to go :)
|
Without pictures I don't have one.
|
I generally don't follow Power Rangers, but the Legacy figures definitely grabbed my attention. It seems they're intending to fill the void that Figuarts has left and starting with Ninja Storm to potentially give us one of the most requested characters that was missing from the Figuarts line would be a great way to acknowledge that.
I'm aware they're not going to be quite as detailed or as articulated, and I'll be waiting to see some decent pictures before getting too excited, as most American toylines like the Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends do nothing for me, but I'm cautiously optimistic. It's just a shame there still won't be any Gobusters or ToQGers figures and Kakuranger and Dairanger are, at best, going to be low priority. |
Wait, what? Is Figuarts not doing Sentai anymore?

We might see more eventually, but it's been clear for a while now that the line is done. |
So Bandai is doing what Hasbro has been doing lately? Nice. Also, I tracked down Spino, Anky, and Pachy.. Now they'll be released together? Tricky tricky bandai. :lol
|
Legacy Ninja Megazord, hands down, since I DID call its release.
|
I guess it's the Legacy figures, but since we haven't seen them...
|
I liked the Imaginext Dragonzord Reveal... Comes with Green Ranger w/ gold shield... It's motorized and controlled by a Dragon Dagger remote...
|
Legacy Ninja Megazord.
Although my kids are pumped about the Imaginext Dragonzord and the Jakks 31" Megazord. |

The Legacy figures for sure. So much potential if they follow through on all their bold claims.
|
Not a single thing of actual interest was shown...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyKIPMLu9H0 Oh... Imaginext Dragonzord wins. |

Also, what's with the above poll about the Spino Charge Megazord (Spinozord, Pachyzord, Ankylozord) set? Haven't even seen a single image depicting this? |
That Dragonzord looks pretty spiffy. I'm quite surprised by how fast it is.
|
I am so excited for the movie accurate Legacy Ninja Megazord! I've been dying to own one ever since I was 4 years old, even then the megazord sucked, wasn't movie accurate, and I never got around to owning it until I was 23. But now finally an epic movie accurate megazord will be released soon, I'm so excited and I can't wait to see the prototype. I really do hope the Legacy line continues giving us more megazords, ones that aren't zord builder crap. And I do hope that the news of Legacy Ninja Storm figures means a Legacy Ninja Storm Megazord is on the way as well. I wonder if there will be alterations done to it or just a re-release of the Japanese molds with the stickers replaced by paint? It would be more cost effective to do the latter.
|
I love my original Ninja Megazord, even though I completely lost the Crane zord so it's headless :lol
(I got a new one off eBay about 2 years back, so yay~) I think the Legacy Ninja Storm figures was to tell fans that Legacy isn't just MMPR (Since a common complaint I see is the constant boot licking MMPR gets while other seasons are ignored), rather than to foreshadow a Ninja Storm Megazord. |

I would.
Especially if it's not movie accurate. http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/...20120115064828 I'd quarantine TRU entirely if it was movie accurate... |
Hey, I was just thinking about something.
How are we going to get a Thunder Megazord Build a Figure? Do you think they will just rerelease the MMPR cast with the Season 2 stuff? |
I'm just hoping they release the Dairangers as legendary power rangers or something.

Well, the only other method I could see them releasing the Thunder Megazord would be to just either re-release the MMPR rangers in another wave with it's pieces or just have it in a 2 pack with the White Ranger.
|
I'm eagerly looking forward to the Legacy figures, I just wish they were shown publicly! Toy Fair and not even press release images?
I hope BOA releases images soon. |
News for a legacy ninja megazord was the best news for me.
