JAE Stunt Actor Daichi Nobe Passes Away
Japan Action Enterprise stunt actor Mr. Daichi Nobe has been reported to have passed away. He was 21. Nobe was last at a hotel in Chiba Prefecture training for jumping stunts. He became unconscious and passed away shortly after on June 14th, 2018, 5:40 am JST.
JAE has announced on their site that they are currently reviewing the exact cause, and also stated that the unfortunate event will be taken into consideration for future safety cautions. JAE has also announced, "As an actor and stuntman, he was irreplaceable. We pray for Mr. Nobe's soul from the bottom of our hearts. We sincerely thank everyone for the heartfelt condolences, and deeply apologize to the fans and all those who are concerned for any inconvenience and worries.". Actor Yasuyuki Maekawa, currently playing Soichi Isurugi on Kamen Rider Build, has commented personally on his blog, "Today, Mr. Daichi Nobe, who worked together with me on Kamen Rider Build as an action actor, has passed away at the young age of 21. It truly is sad losing a valuable partner who worked together on the same title, and losing a young talent who just started running towards his dreams. Thinking of the family and him has myself at a loss for words. I feel that our task is to work on finishing Kamen Rider Build with the same love and dreams that Mr. Nobe had poured in to. I pray for his soul from the bottom of my heart.". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- source 1: https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2113625/full/ source 2: https://ameblo.jp/maekawa-yasuyuki/e...383759443.html What personally breaks my heart about this incident despite knowing about this person just recently is that the next potential star within the suit actor department has left us too early. Thinking of what he could have been if it was not for this tragedy truly saddens me. In conclusion, my condolences to Mr. Nobe and his family, friends, and co-workers. May he rest in peace. |
Wait what the fuck he died at 21? Goddamn that's harsh

Oh man, that's awful. Such a tragedy to die so young.

That's awful.

Rest In Peace Daichi Nobe :(
I give my condolences to his family. |
21 is much, much too young. I can't imagine how rough on his family this must be. May he rest in peace.

jeez, 21 you're just getting started.

Just goes to show what kind of and how much work is put into these kinda shows regardless. The fact that these folks sometimes put their lives at risk even if it means they are playing grunt A falling from a rooftop only relying on a gigantic puffy cushion for safety is just amazing. I got nothing but respect and appreciation for the stunt performers who give it their all despite the potential dangers.

Deepest condolences and well wishes to his friends and family for their loss. Never a good day to hear news like this happening. I hope whatever lessons learned can be taken forward to prevent the same kind of thing from happening to someone else.
