So, Tokushoutsu let it slip in the comment section of their latest Youtue video that a new show will be premiering on May 1st, they won't say what it is other than its not super Sentai.

I would prefer DVDs honestly, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Has anyone figured out how to find the on-demand Tokusatsu? I only see the live channel on the app. |

- V3: It's the next logical step as it followed the OG Kamen Rider. - Black: It's considered a high mark in the world of Showa Riders, and is directly related to... - Black RX: It is the essential end of Showa Riders and the technical start of Heisei. The fact that Saban used the series is probably not lost on anyone either. - Kuuga: The "official" start of Heisei Riders. - W: The start of the second decade of Heisei Riders. However, while another Kamen Rider is an easy speculation, there is something else to consider: Metal Heroes. Since the Toei YouTube channel debuted, it has served as the first official release of many older Metal Heroes, but preexisting licenses prevent some of the uploaded series from being viewed by Western Audiences. Metalder, B-Fighter, and B-Fighter Kabuto were all adapted by Saban, and the rights to those adaptations were part of the deal that Hasbro bought from Saban. A Metal Hero Series which was previously adapted by Saban is another logical theory to consider. As far as on-demand Tokusatsu: www.shoutfactorytv.com (ROKU App Available), www.tubi.tv (ROKU App Available), and the Pluto TV Channel this thread relates to. |

One of my favorite Riders finally available on streaming?! This whole tokushotsu deal has been a dream come true.

This is, on its own, very exciting news!

Still, very exciting! As I'm learning from watching MCS' subs again, Kuuga had some really complex dialogue that frequently got really butchered, too, so hopefully this puts an end to that problem, and English-speaking Rider fans can finally know what Yuusuke was saying to Mika at the end of episode 43, among other barely comprehensible conversations. The subs for the OG show were fantastic from what I watched so far, but that show is a lot easier to work with, because it doesn't require you to be paying attention to subtext, or time certain lines to match up with certain bits of body language or anything like that. On the other hand, if we can get good subs for Kuuga, we can get good subs for anything. No matter what, I'm really looking forward to this! |
