new Zeo Megazord on the way?
1 Attachment(s)
a new SKU found in ToysRUs Canada computers...
|
I would buy this. I have a borderline unhealthy love for this mech.
|
I love the Zeo Megazord, so this is cool, but what I really want is a Super Mini-Pla release.
|
OH DAMN, ROTORSTORM?!
... ahem. Interesting that it's 90$! That's clearly not from the same line as the Megazord we got shown at Toyfair, and suspiciously it's picking up from the season right after Legacy's Megazords left off. Perhaps Hasbro is intent on spiritually continuing the Legacy Megazord line under a new name? |
Give me new versions of EVERY ZORD FROM ZEO!!!
In terms of DX, I only have the DX Zeo Megazord, Red Battlezord, and Warrior Wheel. This could also be for PlaySkool, though the pricetag doesn't support that assumption! The new Dino Megazord is neither here nor there right now, but Zeo is a totally different animal! |
I’m so hoping this is some kind of collector grade Megazord. The new Dino Megazord was a huge disappointment seeing as how it follows the Zord-Builder look of the Legacy line
|
I personally really want Hasbro releases non-transformable 5 inch Megazords from MMPR to Beast Morphers with complex articulations just like Super Robot Chogokin. :D
|
Hmmm, the MMPR one costs $45 USD, so this could be in the same style as it, but I’m not sure what could be included that would warrant an extra $25. I don’t think the extra helmets and chains for the bull Zord would add that much to production costs.
|
I can't see it being the same line as the MMPR Megazord at all; 70$ is a very hefty price increase.

Well I already have the original. It's Korean, but still the same thing basically. So I don't see the need to get this. Also with my TRU experience, if an item says "12 inch figure" or whatever size figure, that's exactly what it is, a figure. It's likely not transformable. I am sure there are exceptions, but given the limited information one can assume that it's just a 12" figure likely highly detailed with decent articulation and probably die cast metal pieces to justify the price tag. Possibly has lights and/or sounds too. Honestly I am not too excited for this release. Maybe once I see it it'll change my mind, but I rather have a Shogun Megazord that combines with BoA's Legacy Ninja Falconzord, so that didn't feel like a wasted purchase, as well as a release of the Ninja Bearzord to fix the issues the legacy one has. I'm sure when Hasbro bought the rights to Power Rangers toys they inherited the molds of those items, and items that were never completed.
|
I'd love a new and improved Zeo Megazord aimed at collectors. That was my first Megazord as a kid - can't even recall getting it, just always had it heh.
But something has me thinking this isn't it. Mostly price.. seems too low? Could be like that Playskool Wild Force Megazord that came out last year and just another playset or big non-transforming figure meant for kids. I feel if it if were an actual collector-oriented item, we kind of literally just passed the time for Hasbro to make a big show of it and let everyone know it's coming. |

Also, it's 90 CAD, which is roughly 70 USD. So it's not too much more than the combined price of the MM Megazord just revealed (altogether) for example. |

I do think you're right though when you say that due to being a much lower price than Legacy and other comparable things it's probably not something like that. I think we'll just have to wait and see |
I mean to be the devil's advocate for this being part of Hasbro's line alternative of Legacy Megazords for a minute, I doubt that Hasbro is going to be haphazardly adding Diecast metal to them or using Diecast at all considering how much people hate the Transformers Titanium line. So that's going to off the bat make the Zeo Megazord cheaper to produce than the Ninja Megazord (using as the base for the Legacy line price wise)
Granted I honestly doubt that this is part of the Lightning collection series and will just be it's own thing. |
I would love to see a new Zeo Megazord. I already loved the original to snag that one for $70. I'd be more than happy to get an updated one for $80. Especially if they manage to give it articulated legs.
|
Sounds like possible a possible lighting zeo megazord akin to the suit of the show instead of a combining one.

Boom!
|
Oh, well, that was pretty sudden!!
Where's this from, and are there any other details? Beyond the obvious, something notable from the pictures is articulated fingers... |
No transforming equals a nope for me.

I also believe that this thing is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Pretty obvious that it will be much higher than the recent Dino Megazord reveal. At the moment, I could care less. IT'S TOO DAMN PRETTY!!!! |

I broke it down more on TFW, but this seems to be a similar thing to those old non-transforming Megazords from LG/LR. It appears to be fully articulated with ankles and thighs and fully posable arms. |
The proportions are off. Looks ridiculous.
|
Honestly I'm here for a line of nontransforming but more articulate megazords, I usually leave em in their robot mode anyways so this just works out better for me. We got any clue on how big it's going to be? Cause posing these with my combiners would be pretty sweet.

Could have been better but I like.

I so wish it could transform
|
Yep, as expected, this one's not for me.
