Power Rangers Dino Force Brave News and Rumour Thread
1 Attachment(s)
So seems like Korea will be producing an original Stage shows for Kyoryuger with original suits and everything.
In Korea, they air Sentai dubbed under Power Rangers, so just in case anyone's confused by the Power Rangers Dino Force name used in the banner. |
New Gabutyra suit recolor that looks like a Carnotaurus.
|
WAIT!!!! Those are the suits that we saw a little while back!! OMG!!

Huh, so this is basically Kyoryu2? I didn't expect that!
|
More than stage shows.
This appears to be an actual second SEASON of Dyno Force- due to the incredible sales potential. It's a Really unusual decision, and I hope we get to see some of it... |
Subs when? :p

Is this really happening??? One of my favorite Sentai is getting a second season yes.
When does it start and where to find subs? Also this clears up what that Kyoryuger pic of the other members with different dinos on their suit was from back in Dec. I was really hoping this would be for something relate to Akibaranger season 3 for more Sentai Figuarts of course. However this is fine as well. Looking forward to seeing how good season 2 of Kyoryuger will be. |
Just heard about this. Quite interesting. I hope there is a toy release.
|
How successful was Kyoryuger in Korea?
As I said in another thread, Kamen Rider Blade was apparently such a success in Thailand, that they decided to make their own continuation of it. I wonder how this second season will work. Will the original actors reprise their roles, or will the story be about different rangers entirely? Gekiranger (dubbed “Power Rangers Wild Spirit”) was also a success in Korea. |

Kinda ironic that the series that tends to get the most hate in our fandom is also one of Toei's most succesful ones.
|
Darn awesome. Take an idea and expand it. PR needs to be 1 season again in America. So we can quickly turn of 1 disaster to another quicker. Two years of of Ninja just no.
But awesome news for Korea doing something outside the box. Maybe next they will introduce new Zords!!! |

Sometimes I feel when you have more than 6 rangers, there is to many characters to keep track of and many story lines become watered down. That is what I hated about Dinocharge. It felt very inorganic and things felt forced to give characters face time, rather than to be part of the story.
But congrats to Korea, I hope America can do something similar.....not until 2019 and I am close to quitting on Ninja Steel. |
Hope a subbing group picks this up!
|
Hmm, potential upgrade to Kyoryujin... I wonder if they're going to start making their own mecha toys too.
|
So is Ninninger not getting a Korean dub in Korea?

Tbh I'm kinda hyped about this but I can't shake the feel of all these new suits and mecha look like Chinese bootlegs. Hope we will get new auxiliary zords like we did with Bandai America

Now I really, reeeeeally, want subs for this. XD

How does Korea get the rights to dub Sentai USING the PR name!?! They get the footage from Toei, and surely Saban knows that South Korea is using HIS product name, but it's an odd arrangement!
It begs the question as to whether Saban could get the rights to adapt the changes here for a "Dino Charge Returns" Special (which could be used to settle the disparity of the continuity-bashing finale)! Let's not ignore this completely! Not just yet! |

Dubbed Power Rangers, i.e. the adaptation, used to air in Korea at one point anyway. I’m guessing the adaptation’s name was kept for brand recognition, or, more likely, because of the age-old tension between Korea and Japan. |

They aired Dino Thunder back in the day but I guess they got tired of waiting for new Power Rangers adaptations so they used Sentai shows instead, so they have the rights to use the name. Just think about what your saying for a moment: to think the Koreans are "stealing" something from Saban is just absurd it's called licensing and it doesn't work that way they would've gotten their asses sued immediately if that was the case. They probably kept the Power Rangers name so kids wouldn't get confused as to why this new Power rangers-esque show is suddenly airing. |

Japan and Korea aren't against each other. They don't have a loving relationship, but they're not enemies anymore.
And Saban did attempt a continuation of PR. Zyuranger lasted for, like, 3 years in the West before we moved on. |

The "stretch" of Zyu isn't the best comparison because it was mostly the suits they kept hold of, while adding new Sentai footage at their leisure. They forced the continuation of Mighty Morphin' and realized the hard way that it wasn't going to work like that! I'm hoping Saban sees relevancy in doing a "Dino Charge Returns" to explain and settle the Dino Charge finale! Dino Force Brave offers that chance, outside of inserting a weak explanation or no explanation in the current show! |
Is this Korea's first attempt at an adaptation of Super Sentai?
