Tyler's Energem is cracked and only the extreme heat from lava can fix it! But Singe and Fury have other plans! Check out all the clips below and the preview images from Saban Brands!

What I wouldn't give for a Time Machine right now so I could skip this (Expletive Deleted) hiatus!
(Oh, and the episode was pretty decent, too...) |
Pretty good episode, though it had a bit of a logic problem. Probably not something most kids will care about, but the T-Rex Zord was being used in two places at the same time.
I don't recall hearing it used in this series before, but hearing morphinominal again was kinda nice. Still a pretty lame word, but was a nice beit of nostalgia. Any idea how long this break will be? |

Well now there's another reason I hate Award Shows. |
Didn't initially realize that the T-Rex was used in TWO separate instances SIMULTANEOUSLY, but does that really take away from the episode? Unlike the past episodes of Supercharge (except Nightmare), this did give you a little faith in the restoration of the earlier magic and passion we got from Dino Charge previously. It wasn't perfect (though many people think that they could do better), but it was acceptable and the THREE AUXILIARIES (The Spirit Rangers from Kyoryugers) were given appropriate treatment FOR ONCE!!! There was some inconsistency in the T-Rex Super Charge "arm changes", but this is excusable. I'm not fond of Singe's whining, but what can you do? This wasn't the best, but it certainly wasn't the worst they could offer, and even BAD episodes have their benefits!
P.S.: Singe's line "...you walking carnival" needs NO FURTHER DIALOGUE!!! |
This episode marked the return of Ann Austen to "Power Rangers." She was previously the executive producer for "Ninja Storm" and a producer for season 3 of MMPR, Zeo and half of Turbo.

The writing was better but more and more it feels like this show is now catering to the Sentai footage as opposed to trying to tell a good story.
James (Navarro) leaving is a cop-out to the Sentai footage. Prince Phillip was only brought back so they could use him in THIS episode, and he'll probably not be back until closer to the finale. And finally, Kendall gets in on the action. Funny part? The fight scenes used were from the Kyoryuger finale. Dino Supercharge isn't a bad season, it's just not as good as Dino Charge was or as it was being advertised. This is beginning to feel more like Super Megaforce with their "write the story around the Sentai footage" feeling to it as opposed to Dino Charge which used Sentai footage when it benefited the story altogether. I get that's what they were aiming for - strong beginning and lower budget towards the end to make the footage work - but I don't think it's working in their favor. There's nothing that screams "BUILDING UP TO THE END" currently, and if we do what we have been doing the last 6 years, we'll get something shoe-horned last second to use Sentai footage because Sentai footage. IE: Sledge comes back as the "Deboss" final monster in Kyoryuger, because they both have green skin. *sigh* |
Dino (Super)Charge is still better than than Samurai through Super Megafarce.
