SDCC Exclusive Power Rangers Samurai Figure Set
5 Attachment(s)
The official Power Rangers facebook page has revealed an exclusive San Diego Comic-Con six figure set. The set includes the 4" Samurai Red Ranger in Shark Attack Mega mode, and the other five rangers in Super Mega mode. Each ranger has a metallic paint finish with fully painted accessories and Megazord cockpit stands.
The set comes in commemorative foil packing and limited to 300 pieces (price TBA). Check out the full sized image after the jump! Want Tokunation.com updates on the go? "Like" us on Facebook and follow us @tokunation on Twitter!! |
NOOOOOO!!!! why must i be goin to the chicago comic-con!
|
Neat I saw something similar at ToysRus only no stands and normal mode
|
Whoa 300 pieces? Youch!
|
If you're in to Power Ranger action figure collecting this is a must-have piece. If you're not, then it's a total meh piece. If they wanted to make something REALLY desirable, they need to start doing crazy stuff with the mech.

Super Mega Mode: "Oh, that's pretty cool. I might buy it."
Metallic paint: "Ooh, shiny too? Okay, looks like I'll probably be getting it." Cockpit stands: "Oh my lord, I fucking need this NOW." |
I really like it, and it'd probably look great as a display piece. But at only 300 made, I can imagine the price being something I'm not willing to pay.
Also is anyone else getting an error from that "more info" link? |
'Bout time BoA got in on this market.
EDIT: Do my eyes deceive me? Is BoA still using those out of place white joints? Would it've killed them to mold them in the right color? It's not like they have to be painted... |
Is it safe to assume that the set will probably cost around 100$?
|
Too bad the cockpit stands won't be compatible with the Figuarts, but the only stand we've gotten so far from was from Gokaiger, so for once, BOA is heading the right direction.

|

and red is wearing the upgrade he gets from the shark zord that's the best i can describe it :lol i really don't know much about the terminology used in Samurai |
All I know is those things are even uglier than the previous toys.
|
Some new details:
They will NOT be revealing the price. Credit card payments only?? Limit 5 per person - very weird if it's that limited in number. ---- Personally I think this is a very kickass exclusive. I may not like the obscene number of forms the Samurai rangers have, but these do look awesome (and at least look cooler than regular Super mode ha). That even the Megablades are painted and they come with the cockpit stands is what really sells this set for me. If I were a collector of the PR figures, this would be a must-have. |

Updated the first post with all the new images.
