Leaked Image: Beast Morphers Megazord!
1 Attachment(s)
This was somehow slipped into today's press releases.
|
And I just got through asking for something like this on the Beast-X Ultrazord thread, too!
It follows the same logic that the new Ultrazord will, and that is something simple and more streamlined than the Go-Buster Megazords. It looks alright, not perfect. It might have been something of a pipe dream for us to start seeing Transformers-quality in Megazords right out of the gate! |
We were never going to get Transformers level articulation out of the Gobusters design. Wait for them to do something like Toqger or Kyuranger before expecting that.
|
I get the feeling this is to keep kids happy first, because let’s all be real that’s who this is for.
I’ll be shocked if there is not some display of MMPR Megazords with the levels of articulation we are promised next week at toy fair. That’s the adult collector market. Also, if the first Lightning figure lineup is anything to go by, who else is guessing we will be getting Lost Galaxy and SPD Megazords sooner than later? |
Not a fan of that shade of yellow. Other than that, looking pretty good.
|
I kinda like it, but I'm going to wait for some more in-depth pictures from ToyFair before making a final decision on if I get it, or try to find the Go-Busters version for a decent price. So far only paint I see missing is the brown on the hands. I do like that the Cheetah car pieces don't stick out as much on the legs, though.
|
I don't think this is the real figure, because if it was Jason Bischoff would have retweeted it just like the other reveals.

Really? Bandai managed to get that in the Minipla. I don’t even think this new one has elbows. |
I just noticed the hands have 5mm holes in them and that opens tons of options for this megazord.

I do like the US names for these, “Beast-X Megazord/Ultrazord”
|
Is it me or does that red look pretty metallic? Might see if toy stores here actually start selling Power Rangers stuff again, last stuff I saw was a Movie Tyrannosaurus Zord and a figure of that Goseiger villain who's name constantly escapes me
|
It looks good, a bit lankier than the Original toy but they seemed to clean it up a bit, I am really glad they're going back to gobusters didn't buy the Megazord the first time around

The Go-Buster mecha is a bit difficult to do that way as yet. But there should be some other surprises later. Especially potentially with classic zords at some point. But right now, the main emphasis is on show accuracy, so the confines of that blocks it a bit until we start getting to Hasbro era Toei collab stuff. Which won't be until after Ryusoulger. Though Ryusoulger was planned as a gesture to Hasbro in nodding material as well as other kid toy mainstay play functions and versatility. But series 44 you should see some interesting marks of Hasbro's involvement more that brings the magic back even more. And I wouldn't count out the possibility of a "Concept redesign" Beast X Megazord at some point either with some design tweaks. |
I like it. Would like to see solo Buster Ace, though.
|
Kinda disappointed. The Rangers themselves look fantastic, but this still kinda has a Bandai America look. Not like the beefy Go Buster Mecha.
It’s still totally mine tho. |
I like it, It looks like the suit version of Go-Buster Oh than the blocky japan version. Though I wish the blue feet were slightly bigger though.
|
i am digging it
depending on price may pick it up |
Wait......
Are those transformers combiner ports on the feet? |

If that is the case, and they apply that to "legacy" megazords, I can't wait to mix and match mmpr with volcanicus and turbo with "defensor"
The quotes on defensor are because I don't use normal config nor do I use correct members. I just use hot spot as the torso. |
Do we know yet if this is in the RPM universe?

There is another image not depicted here, which shows ANOTHER Beast Morphers/Beast-X Megazord that is different from the one we have seen!
Evidently, and this is the only conclusion that I can draw, the other Megazord is kid-friendly and non-transforming, making it essentially the same as the Beast-X Ultrazord from earlier. https://www.grnrngr.com/toys/power-r...beast-morphers |
