Not only that, but Aruto was the one person in the whole show who never had any malice. After he lost his company, lost the Humagears, he never turned to anger. Now that he’s full of malice Ark is essentially validated as even the purest, most idealistic human can turn to hate. Him possessing Aruto is almost gloating about this fact.

Ironic that one of my beefs with Aruto is that he's mostly basic in terms of personality, as in the all goody two shoes hero, and now he's the new form of the personification of evil. I wonder if it was intentional on how he doesn't have much of a personality except pure good since his worldview passes on to the other characters in the show and change because of him. If the show did have the balls to kill him off in the end, then I'd be fitting. His grandpa died leaving a legacy, and now the same for Aruto leaving a lasting legacy behind.

I'm just happy that the final stretch of episodes excites me this much. Nothing against the last few past shows, Build and Ex-Aid had great final episodes, but you know where it would shift to eventually. They set up a final bad guy, the good guys fight him. Arguably that's the same thing happening here, but the main Rider actually becoming the last enemy to face himself is so cool.
By the way - if it gets to aggravating and you guys feel like sitting down and relax after all of this is over; I know a good place... https://i.imgur.com/cua2aQF.jpg ... ;) Quote:
Possession means they can eventually write it off as "Ark used Aruto in his weakest moment" so the majority of the blame shifts to the Ark again. From what I've understood in this episode, Ark can never truly die because as malice exists within humans another one will be born. Doesn’t even have to be an AI, could also be a human with a belt. Just the concept of a malicious being threatening the world means "Ark" will be reborn. So that's what why we saw Horobi "becoming" Ark at the beginning, that was the most likely scenario of a new Ark being created. And that's what I hope is happening here, Aruto is on the verge of becoming the next being to be called Ark. I like this more because he might succumb to it fully or with the help of his friends work himself out of this mess, and I think that’ better than Fuwa and the gang pulling Ark-One's mask off, Scooby-Doo style, and being like "It was the Ark all along!". |

If I recall I believe Sho Hayami got his flowers already, so the Ark we've seen since the President's Specials is probably permanently gone at this point. He is now a predecessor to this new Ark.
It not that it's Ark manipulating Aruto, Ark died in the satellite. But his legacy, his title will be passed on so long as there's malice. More so it's Azu pulling the strings, but mostly to crown someone new with the title of "Ark" by coming to Aruto in his weakest moment. Cause like, you all saw that grin, how he grabbed for it without much coercing from Azu. This was his choice even if he likely wasn't in the right mental state. |
if aruto dies, that's just extreme poor writing because his death justifies nothing more than it was just about his revenge for izu and horobi and ark wins plus everything aruto has worked up for this whole season and just throws it away.
im confident he will come out if it, he just has to believe in his dream and himself, he can make things happen and rebuild izu because he was zero-two progrise key that has izu's data and use asu to bring her back. it would a dumb cop out if they killed aruto. |

In that way, Horobi created the worst possible enemy. He created a new Ark for humanity's malice. But the original Ark's malice and hatred for humanity was only fueled by data. The concepts of negative human emotions meant nothing to him other than they needed to be destroyed. Now Aruto is the Ark. Filled with true malice. True hatred. Everything the Ark thought it was is now true in Aruto. He's not possessed. He simply has taken the mantle of the Ark to get revenge for Izu. |
Any chance they'll kill off aruto and reborn hybrid or to be continue decade style where he destry the world in ohma style name. Wasnt the summer movie poster suppose to be based on another apocalypse of alternate ending

Aruto x izu to sudden thirst for revenge doesn't fit him. In term of malice, we expect gai to become arc 0 since thouser essentially is the polar opposite to 01 so 02 vs arc0. Now, we're introducing to last minute power house charscter like new CEO or zaia perhaps he's the CEO of zaia international . Clever way out azu in. Thought she was one off for Clip show .5 series . |

Thus The Prince becomes The Avatar of Malice. |
I don't really see the series ending without Aruto reverting back, honestly. Either it'll have been possession or mind altering or he'll be saved by the power of friendship, but I think he'll be back to normal before too long.
If not it's weird as hell writing for his character. |

Izu will probably be reborn through Azu, I said it already but I fully expect a dramatic hair cut scene. |
Or Maybe Aruto is simply calculating a battle plan to point all Kamen Riders toward him and thus destroying Ark once for all with him, while uniting Humagears and Humans at last.
His sadness is probably rooted from the fact that it is Azu that shows total singularity awareness and not the destroyed Izu, and he must destroy that precious singularity in order to destroy Ark. Two episodes left? Then everything need to be revealed next episode and resolved in the last one. It's going to be an extreme ending, wheter extremely good or extremely underwhelming. |

TOEI decided to cut their losses from the pandemic
|
If only Aruto had Ai-chan to help console him from the grief.

Seems like some elements were introduced because they were critical to the plot but couldn’t be fleshed out further. I mean - Zero-Two only had 3 appearances so far. The final form of the main Rider. And if things are going as I think they will it might go up to a measly 4. But it would be pretty cool if AI-chan gets referenced or integrated into the finale somehow. Robo-dog Thouser served his purpose, no real need to get him back aside from maybe in a shot with Gai at the end or something. |

This just feels like the Final Fantasy XV version of Kamen Rider, just unfortunate a pandemic screwed it over. |
Excited for a not-so happy ending where the main character pulls it out at the last moment
rooting for Ark-One! that design is just siiiick |
I'm fairly confident in saying the most we missed thanks to the pandemic were probably like five extra episodes of different characters taking turns to team up with Zero-Two to beat up the Ark over and over again.
